FYI, tried to stop in there today and it was empty — may be closed unless its relocated.

No, no, no, so wrong it’s just still not right. My boyfriend ordered the curried crêpe and received it luke warm, she took it back, and microwaved it, and it did taste better, but knowing she just microwaved it because we had taken a small bite, was testing us. I’ve been to France numerous times and the crepes there are not like this. It was way too expensive for a thin pancake, even though crepes are not pancakes!~ My boyfriend does not have a profile but he says in his own words right next to me, «this place sucked, too expensive, not good and not worth it.» Just google how to make it online and do it yourself to save yourself some money, time, and make something romantic with your love.

Tried to eat here Thursday, August 25th, 2011, having tried calling twice first. There’s an easel blackboard visible through the glass door saying they have CLOSED. Shame. It would be a courtesy to change the outgoing message on the phone …

Never been here, but looked at their website… they’ve closed their doors. That would probably explain them not honoring the groupon anymore. :(

I was glad to see that I could write a review online about this«restaurant», as my two girlfriends and I were sooo turned off by the food, I wanted to help others avoid a really horrible experience. As first-timers in Geneva, we were excited to learn that there was a creperie in town. But ater receiving our food(the chicken and broccoli crêpe) we were terribly disappointed. Not only did it look completely unappealing(like something dead on the plate) — and sparse for $ 11 — but it was evident that the cook(can’t call her a chef) had no clue how to make or present crepes. The taste was even worse than the appearance. The single crêpe was undercooked and rubbery, the chicken was tasteless, couldn’t locate any broccoli, the«relish» of one thinly sliced cucumber was an insult, and there was very little sauce(which turned out to be a good thing as it was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever been served in a restaurant — or anywhere else). My two friends were so hungry by the time we received our meals, they just kept their food. I tried to take a few bites, but couldn’t get it down, so returned mine and opted for the daily special — a small underbaked piece of quiche — which I ate only because the others were through with their meals and I was really hungry! My suggestion for those loking for a decent meal is STAYAWAYFROMTHIS«RESTAURANT!!!» My suggestion for the chef is to go back to cooking school and learn how to make good French food. The one star is for the atmosphere and the pleasant young waiter.

So I bought a Groupon for Denisa’s a couple months back after I checked the Unilocal reviews on this establishment. Here’s how things transpired from that point… I tried dragging the hubs to try Denisa’s one night after dinner, for dessert crepes, they were closing 30 minute after I called to check the hours so it didn’t work out. Not a problem, it is a crêpe place… I was actually surprised they were open past 4−5pm on a Saturday anyway. The one star factors in here… Today I received notification via email, from Groupon, stating Denisa’s is no longer accepting the Groupon. Very. Bad. Planning. I’m not sure if Densia was duped by some highly skilled Groupon sales rep, or if she simply underestimated the power of Groupon(she had to be losing out …$ 8 for $ 16 worth of food, plus Groupon’s take… you do the math!) I just think it’s very bad business to stop honoring a coupon before it expires, because you didn’t realize what you were getting yourself into. I will not end up visiting Denisa’s based on The Great Crêpe Debacle.

Went here on a weekend for brunch– very busy and a bit understaffed. Love that it is a family joint, but they definitely needed a bit more help. The food was absolutely delicious, but very small portions for the price. I will definitely come back to try a lunch or dinner menu instead of the brunch menu which was limited. One definite perk of the restaurant is that it is a quieter breakfast restaurant– I hope it continues to do well because I love that it is a family owned and run restaurant. Check it out for sure.

Went on a Saturday night and sat outside on the terrace. It was a beautiful evening. Denisa introduced herself, and we talked about the different types of fondue she offers. We went with the Normandy cheese fondue with bread cubes and apple slices, which was really good. Also split a chicken curry crêpe, which was okay, but not stellar. Chicken curry was not my first choice, but they were out of the first three I wanted(beef burgundy, roast pork and beef stroganoff). The crepes are pretty small, so if you have a good appetite, don’t expect one crêpe to fill you up. We had two dessert crepes: black forest(berries with chocolate sauce) and lemon cream cheese, both of which were very good. Plan to go back to try the meat fondue once they change over to their summer menu.

Denisa is a great host. Called ahead and requested a special lunch for my wife who was celebrating her Birthday and she accomodated us perfectly. Great service and fondue, the crepes are the best. Check it out!

This place is quite a gem! Heavenly crepes and wonderful soups! We went for lunch and they have a bright, cheerful dining room and a gigantic patio. The owner is a charming Swiss woman who also has a chalet-style room open for dinner, serving fondue and raclette. The service was excellent and I look forward to going back for dinner!

Went after dinner at a nearby restaurant. This place is great. The space is well done and much larger than you would expect. I had the Nutella and banana crêpe and my wife had the Glacé crêpe. Both were excellent. We chatted with Denisa several times during the course of our stay. I will return to try the fondue and some of the meal crepes. Overall I thought this place is wonderful. Very friendly staff, excellent food and pleasant ambiance. I will definitely return. If you are in Geneva check this place out — you won’t regret it.

My husband and I went here for dessert after a dinner at nearby Gratto’s. I had the Glacee’ crêpe which is served with vanilla ice cream inside a warm crêpe with slices of banana and mandarin oranges dusted with powdered sugar. SOYUMMY! The terrace is going to be a great place to go in the summer. I can’t wait to try their other foods including the fondues. I highly recommend this place. The staff is super nice and service is attentive.

I stopped in for lunch and had the quiche and soup. Denisa is apparently Swiss, and the waitstaff appears to be francophone as well. If you want to practice your French, try it — the staff will love you. They were very helpful and knew exactly what was in the soup when I asked(I’m a vegetarian). The asparagus cream soup was a little thinner than I would expect, but good. The leek cheese quiche was excellent, though the finish was a little salty and it had obviously been reheated, which means that the lovely crust was a little soggy. The roll with the soup was a commercial bakery roll; nothing worth your time. The quiche, soup and a cup of pretty good coffee was less than ten bucks. They do raclette, which is just about impossible to find in this country, and fondue as well(cheese, tomato or chocolate). I’ll be back.
