We just saw Arabian Nights and the show is awesome. Just solid, solid, solid. Great acting and this theatre company is so great. Been seeing plays here for years and the setting at Boscobel is as soul soothing as can be. So beautiful! Picnic here before the show or they have a great menu. Very tasteful in every regard. This is a Cold Spring institution set to stand the test of time.

King Lear was boring. This was the fifth or sixth time I’ve watched a play at the festival. I’ve loved all the rest. Usually they use unconventional settings or costumes to bring new perspective to the work. I like that. This was very straight forward without many unique twists. Sitting outside having a picnic overlooking the Hudson River beforehand is always fun.

went over the summer to see The Taming of the Shrew and wow!!! Terrific acting and a great setting. This is something no one should miss
