I love the Golden Corral chain. So it was a no brainer that we go on Easter Sunday. This was the worse experience I have had in a restaurant period. First of all, the food was cold or either just wasn’t there.(For extended periods of time) I was barely finished the first plate when my stomach started turning flips. I had to immediately go to the restroom. This was at 12:30. I am still going now at 10:00. For 14.00 a person I feel ripped off. I could not even enjoy my meal. The bathroom was yet another disappointment. It was filthy! The trashcan at the door was so nasty that I didn’t even want to throw away my handtowel. Now, on to the service. Ridiculous!!! As a server myself, I tend to be patient and try to understand but this was crazy. It wasn’t just our server though. Teamwork should be better. Instead her fellow section partners were constantly congregated in a corner talking about her out loud. She was apparently struggling. We were out of tea for awhile and our plates remained on the table far too long. Lastly, the manager who specifically told the guest he was the owner, after screaming at her. An act that caused every person t the front of the restaurant to look around to see what was happening. We have no idea what was going on but no one was happy about the manager was raising his tone at the guest like she was a child. They looked like they wanted to really really leave but the kidas wanted to stay. There was so much wrong here that should not have been and it’s unacceptable. We are never eating here again!

This place seems to be closed down, went looking for it and found nothing. Disappointed!

My hubby wanted this last Saturday, and off to the GC we went. We got there around 10am and I was shocked to find that they had already started putting out lunch. I usually LOOOVE their waffle station, but this time I didn’t see one. It appeared that the usual waffle machine has been retired and they are now making mini waffles. Which actually fit better on my plate and I could control how much I was eating. The meat was plentiful, however, it seemed a bit greasy for my taste. The eggs are always to die for. They are light, fluffy and not too hard! Squeeze a little ketchup on top and I am in heaven. My husband couldn’t seem to get enough of their chicken and waffles and a whole assortment of other delicacies. The waitress was very nice and kept our drinks filled up. Overall, not bad. Perfect if you are looking for a big big breakfast!

I used to eat here multiple times a week. Now I barely go once every few months just to see if anything’s changed yet. The food is incredibly hit or miss. The steaks sometimes are amazing, other times they’re barely cooked, burnt on the outside messes. For the price being as high as it is, that shouldn’t happen. The manager’s love to walk around, but dont really do anything. They know us there as my wife works nearby, are always friendly, and yet, we still get crap service for refills, they no longer bring rolls to the table, never have honey butter that Golden Corrall is famous for out in stock enough, and the food’s flavor is never consistent!

Don’t know why I go here and expect a good meal when I never get it, went earlier in the day and the food looked like it was all left over from previous day, this Golden Corral not as good as others

We celebrated my daughter’s 9th birthday here(her choice), and invited some of her friends and their families. Her grandparents also drove 3 ½ hours to celebrate with us. I called the restaurant 15 days before her birthday, asked about reserving one of the private dining areas, and was told it would be no problem at all! So, I spoke with the manager, made all of the arrangements, gave him my name, party size, and contact information, and confirmed that I would call the day before the event with a more exact head count. I called the day before, and guess what… nothing in their calendar about my reservation!!! The manager accused me of possibly calling a different location, and not remembering which one! I was adamant that I had contacted their location, and had the call log on my phone. He FINALLY assured me(after a lengthy conversation) that we had a private dining area, and we would have the space from 3:00 — 5:00. Once the party arrived, and we were seated and eating, a different manager(from the one I spoke with the day before) came up to tell me we needed to be out of the room by 4:30. He and I spoke about the previous day’s conversation, and I showed him on my cell phone call log where I had called 15 days prior to event… and had a 4 minute call time. When he went to see who the manager on duty was, he returned to tell me «If you called, you spoke to me». IF I CALLED!!! I had just shown him verification that I had called, and had a 4 minute conversation with someone at the number! He then told me we were going to have to be out of the room by 4:20 because the next party(which was coincidentally scheduled after I initially called) was scheduled for 4:30, and they needed 10 minutes to get the room set up! We had to rush through dinner, spending time with family and friends, and eating cake, only to be ushered across to the other side of the restaurant so my daughter could open her gifts. And once we were taken to the other side, it was already so crowded with other families, I felt as though we were bothering the other patrons who wanted to eat in peace. Six 8 – 9 year old squealing girls, and all of the adults– not the most pleasant experience. I kept apologizing to those around us, and assured them we would be out of there ASAP. Our compensation… never heard an «I’m sorry” — only an «If you called, you spoke to me» and a couple of buffet vouchers– for this location!

The service is okay. The food is hit or miss. The manager walks around constantly but he obviously doesn’t like taking customer’s order and payment. I’ve been here several times waiting in line as he just stood there looking off in to outer space while the cashier girls were filling drinks and taking payment.

This golden corral used to be really good. We had been there many times in the past and been mostly happy with it. Not any more. As with any other buffet, if the parking lot is half empty, you are in for old, cold food. Any buffet I have ever been to thathas been good has had a small stampede of customers. Like I said, as soon as I saw the parking lot was half empty, I should have just gone across the parking lot to Ruby Tuesday. But foolishly, we went in. Things were out of of place right away because next to the table we were going to sit at had a stack of dirty dishes stacked up on a table rather than behind the service station and out of sight. And on the dishes was a dirty wash rag with a couple of flies buzzing around it. I insisted we at least sit away from that. Very disappointing. Everything that happened from that point forward is really my own fault but I was with a group and I would have been kind of making a ruckus had I made a big deal about leaving. Oh well. I lived. The food was cold and old and very over salted. Onion rings were stone cold. Steak was ridiculously over seasoned. If you salt the food to death you can keep it out much longer. I LIKE salty food, so for it to be too salty for me that is saying something. And of course it was cold. They had this one dish of corn bread that I liked. It was just about empty. But not empty enough for the management because they are trying to pinch pennies. When money isn’t coming in the front door, that only leaves watching expenses to try and make a buck and that meant leaving a 90% eaten dish of corn bread out there for an extra 15 minutes hoping someone is hungry enough to grab the crumbs. LAME. They eventually took it away and replaced it with something completely different. We may go to a different Golden Corral in the future but I can’t envision ever going back to this one. We usually just go when my in-laws are in town anyhow as we were on this occasion. For some reason they prefer eating at buffets, whatever. I have no objection to buffets, I just object to cold old food.
