I think it’s important to recognize a business’s professional conduct, whether it exists or whether it doesn’t. I contacted Jason to do a yard cleanup — leaf removal and nothing more. He was an hour late the day he gave me the estimate, but okay, I can let that go. He was supposed to clean my yard the following week. It did rain a couple of days that week, but he never called to reschedule. Finally, on Friday afternoon, I called him to ask what was going on. He said he had to let my leaves dry out because they were pretty wet. I asked him to please come the following Monday, because no rain was expected for a few days. I asked him to please call me on Monday to let me know what time he would be there. Monday came and went and he didn’t show, and he didn’t call. There is a filtered review on Unilocal that I wish I had seen before I contacted this company. That person also said she hired Jason and he just left her hanging and would not return her phone calls or emails. There is no excuse for not making a phone call, and there is certainly no excuse for not telling a customer that you are not interested in taking the job, but instead, just never show up or call. Also, Jason said he has to charge an additional $ 15 if you want to use a debit or credit card. He’s friendly and seems nice when you talk to him, but his professional conduct leaves much to be desired.
