I received TWO mail ads for Dickey’s ‘pulled pork sliders’ — $ 1 each.
Thought I’d give them one more try (last visit over a year ago was disappointing).
Waited patiently for my turn and ordered four — to go.
‘THREE PER PERSON’ the man with the knife said REPEATEDLY, in broken English.
‘Store policy’.
After repeatedly asking for four, I finally paid for THREE, put them in the car and came back to order two more.
RIDICULOUS! Not like I ordered 50 or even 10 (OR 6).
With Dickey’s only a half mile from home and Marshall’s barbecue 2.5 miles away, can you guess where I’ll go next time?

I love Dickey’s BBQ. Visited multiple locations while vacationing in Dallas. The food was great quality barbecue, lean, delicious smoked flavor meat. Brisket and pulled pork are top notch. My daughter loved the turkey. Great sides — okra was awesome.
This location lost one star because right in the middle of eating our lunch a HUGE cockroach ran across the floor. This was the middle of the afternoon, and other tables had patrons eating as well. Was surprised to see it bold enough to scurry amongst that many people and made me wonder if there weren’t a lot more. Or maybe it was the only one, emboldened with the spirit of Chuck Norris.
