Steak and pork tacos are as good as the hype… you pay and order at one counter, then you take your receipt where they prepare the food… You’ll tell them what meat you’d like, there are several to choose from. Oooh that looks good, what’s that? Oooh intestines… Ahhh ok… pass. Mmmm that looks good, what’s that Lengua… Ahhh ok… pass again… Let’s go with steak and pork… I know, very boring of me… lol…its my cheat eat weekend… lol…If you go by site and smell… I have to admit, I almost stepped out of my comfort zone… but its a great spot with no frills for late night tacos and burritos… Another great tip from my fellow Unilocalers… many thanks

I’m not sure why everyone says they are the best ever. They are decent, if you are in the area and want tacos fast. I wouldn’t say anywhere near the best ever. Not even the best in the area I don’t think. I would go 10 minutes further in any direction and find tacos just as good if not better. Was pretty disappointed after reading all the reviews and then finally trying this place.

These tacos were . So good it takes your lingo back to the 90s. I tried 4 different kinds… chicken fajita, barbacoa, al pastor, and carnitas. All of them were extremely tasty and the hot sauce was flavorful. I loved that they have you grilled and raw onions. It made the tacos especially perfect. Dont be concerned by the set up. It’s in a gas station but it does not appear to be dingy and sketchy like some other gas station food stops. Definitely recommend a stop by.

Best. Tacos. Ever. Not what you would expect from a gas station. You order at the front then take your receipt to the kitchen where they will fulfill your order. Be warned, many of the items on the menu are written in Spanish. They will work with you though… just tell them what kind of meat you want on your tacos or point to it. Definitely coming back here for lunch again.

I’ve been coming here since I was a junior in high school… so yeah… it was Fina then… They used to give way more meat, but the flavor is spectacular, so that takes the cake!!!

Tacos a good, but dont expect much from the environment. Order and pay at the registrar then take your ticket to the back.

I don’t have any business being in this neighborhood, but I picked up my friend to go to watch movies and he had mentioned this had the best tacos as we passed by. Since he’s Mexican and speaks fluent Spanish, I figured to try this place out — since Im always looking for authentic mexican food, and figured you gatta trust an authentic Mexican right?! Hehe. When you walk in, theres a line(I came in at 11:00pm) so they MUST be good, I thought to myself. The menu is simple and highly affordable. You order at the front, they give you a recipet and you take it to the back(where tacos are made) and they cook it for you. I got carnitas, chicken and fajita, no onions. Just tortilla and meat. Food was quick. But The tables were dirty. They surely do not have anyone cleaning them… regularly. Then again maybe Im just too much of a Princess? But in my defense, My guy friend had to grab napkins to clean a spill on the table — so yeah. take your food to go. The food was good. Wasnt too salty or too dry. They give you a lot of meat! Its great. All in all, its great for a cheap, quick food. Was it worthy to be back? No. I can find other authentic Mexican taco places all over Dallas.

These truly are some of the best tacos. REAL tacos. No fuss no frills place. The tacos are full of greasy goodness, and the rice and beans are always bangin’. Order from the cashier and take your ticket to the cooks and tell ‘em what you want. The grilled onions that come on the side are melt in your mouth. I could go on and on about this place!

This place was really confusing… where you order and pay but once you pass that the food was great. I will go again.

Food is amazing! But when I asked for extra cups for salsa the guy refused. Said he put enough for $ 40 worth of tacos. Seriously?! WTF?!

THISPLACEISTHEBOMB!(I could stop there but I won’t.) Amanda W is right if you are going to a gas station to have a sit down meal writing a rude review is pretty unfair, I mean come on it’s inside a GASSTATION. That being said if you want authentic street tacos check it out! I order 2 beef tacos with rice and beans, delicious. I tell everyone that enjoys REALTACOS to go check it out and I have received the same feedback from everyone that they can’t wait to go again. It’s worth at least checking it out but I guarantee if you go once you will go again!

If you’re going to a gas station to have a sit down meal, writing a rude review is pretty unfair. It’s a gas station, not a restaurant. That being said, they are the best genuine tacos in all of Garland. 24 hours, 7 days a week, workers are always friendly, there is also menudo and burritos. A tip: if you get the side rice and beans separately from the tacos you get about quadruple the serving for the same price.

This is my favorite place to take people who say they love tacos! I always get pastor and barbacoa tacos with extra grilled onions and an extra charred jalapeño. Everything tastes so authentic and while there’s very little seating since it’s inside a gas station, it’s definitely worth the strange gas station atmosphere.

Love the tacos from this place! I always get three tacos: pastor, fajita, carnitas. The tortas are delicious too. I only go in the daytime because I don’t like going to gas stations at night(my boyfriend orders tacos from there at night). The barbacoa is a little too greasy for my taste. How to order: 1. Pay for your food with the cashiers(I say«three tacos» and pay) 2. Get in line(yes, there’s always a line but it’s worth it and the workers move fast) 3. Hand over your receipt and tell them what you want(I say three tacos: pastor, fajita, carnitas) 4. Leave a tip

I coworker told be about this place and quality street tacos are hard to find so I decided, why not. It’s a little place inside of a gas station. Its not glamourous by any means but let’s face it, we are here for the food. I had three tacos. I asked for tacos de carne asada and got a shredded beef type of tacos. It was decent but not what everyone was raving about. The rice and beans were amazing, reminded me of my mothers cooking. If you Dont mind decent tacos check this place out. Good food for a good price.

Best taco I eat ever. They are in the gas station area inside of the Mexican style mart. They r just inside of the mart in a Conner. They have all taco smell here. And the music is Mexican music also. I older fajita, chicken, pork and beef tongue which is the meat is tender and juicy, which is not too soft and also not too dry. Sorry for my poor English. Just the table and floor is not clean. I hate that. But the taco so so so good…

What a treat this place was! The real winner in my opinion is the torta, but the tacos were awesome as well. Walking in, it looks like any gas station/restaurant. In this case, there was no clear divide between the two. You have to order the food from the cashier first, and then take your ticket over to the cook, where they make it front of you. I ordered a pork pastor torta. I asked the cook to leave my bread on the grill for just a little bit longer(I hate mushy tortas so any extra toastiness helps). This aint Subway where you really customize or load up but they have the standard ingredients. I was quite pleased that they use fresh avocados. They have a huge self serve tray of pico de gallo(which is nice in theory, but I would prefer they have that behind the counter). They also have their house made sauces sitting in an ice chest for your convenience. My first impressions were, «Wow, this actually has a nice chew to it. Its not mushy like some places I go to.» I also thought everything blended well together. The sauce they make it actually really good. I usually go for verde, but their rojo was outstanding. It had a nice robustness to it, without being extremely hot. The meat itself was moist and well seasoned. I had a bite of my friends taco, and wished I had ordered some for my own. They had a good amount of greasiness and sturdiness. They dont really put much on them except the meat, since you can load up on the pico de gallo yourself. They do give you grilled onions and jalapenos, which Im always down for I dont really live close to this location, but if Im visiting friends and want some grub, I probably will visit here again.
