They are still in business. They re-opened in a strip mall on the southwest corner of Crenshaw Blvd., and El Segundo Blvd.

Today my 13yr old experienced his first Quick N Split homemade ice-crème and chili cheese fries with pastrami and shared the special quick n split burger. He enjoyed the burger and ice crème. He is a young Actor and said that the customer service was great.

I went to Qucik N Split years ago on Western Avenue and LOVED the Ice Cream and Turkey tacos., the business was ran slouchy then but today with all the rating and hygiene issues i think EVERYONE should be careful to eat at this one on Crenshaw They are an embarrassment to Black Businesses… Here are my issues: The windows are dirty(drive thru) &(walk up). –Extremely SLOW over 20 mins to receive 3 turkey tacos & one large ice cream –Workers handling food & money at the same time(money is very dirty)! –Very unprofessional(no «hi may I help you» or «thank you») I guess that’s keepin it real for all my ninjas!!! PUREIGNORANT! –Drive Thru has a written note at the speaker that says«press the button if no one answers the speaker» WOW!!! –As a Black businessman these folks clearly don’t have a clue on how to grow their business or maintain healthy standards! I’m embarrassed to ever go back as my health is paramount to being treated like I owe them a handout! I’m going to TAMS! Like the owner said in a previous note«go see for yourself» and PAYATTENTION to what you get what you pay for!

Horrible service. The woman at the window had a nasty attitude & it took forever for the food to come. The burgers aren’t seasoned very well, but the fries were tasty I’ll give them that. Probably will not return.

Like many people on here I saw pictures of quick n splits food on Facebook and immediately wants to try it. I went with my girlfriend for lunch on a Monday as walked right up to order. The service was great, no problems and def no rudeness as previously written. Had a couple menu questions and the cook/counter person was just straight forward and told me about the items. I had a double bacon bbq burger, 1 word KILLER. Big burger, meat taste awesome, craving a big greasy delicious burger is def recommend. My gf go the egg burger, we added their thousand island dressing to it, another KILLER burger. Of course got ice cream, I couldn’t put that thing down. Overall first experience was great! Wasn’t busy so I’m guessing a busier day causes more stress for all. Def coming back here whenever I was a good burger and can’t wait to try their Krispy crème donut burger.

I had the Quick N’ Split burger it was delicious. The meat was thick and juicy. The bun was nicely toasted. It reminded me of when mom would make us home burgers. The service was great. The patio was clean.

This place is the reason I joined Unilocal. The sole reason I gave them 2 stars is because the ice cream was awesome. First and foremost the outside of the place left alot to be desired. I stood there for 10 minutes while the guy at the window talked to some girl about when he was going to call her. He then asks me did I order yet like he didnt realize Id been standing there. They claim to have all the basic flavor(chocolate, strawberry, vanilla etc) but they only had vanilla. And did i mention every guy in there had on a filthy shirt? Most unprofessional business Ive ever encountered but if youre not worried about customer service then go for the delicious ice cream

So I’m one of those folks that remember Quick N Split from back in the day. They were always really good from what I remember. My mom used to make late night runs there when I was in high school. I was shocked and surprised when I read all the horrendous reviews on Unilocal. The reviews and consequent responses from management have kept me from wanting to go there now. But, alas, I have to try things for myself. I can’t let others sway my thinking. So here’s the scoop… #1 Drive through sucks. The guy in front of me was there at least 2 – 3 minutes before I pulled up. I know because I saw him waiting while I was busting that U from 135th. The workers saw me pull up and then I sat at the drive through for about 2 minutes before I gave up on waiting for one of the workers to say something. I just backed out and walked up, smh. It turned out to be faster because the guy in front of me at the drive through was barely getting his food as I was driving away. #2 The place looked a little run down and dirty. If you’re finicky or OCD, you might not be to keen on a spot like this. #3 The service was unremarkable, i.e. there isn’t really much to speak of. The guy took my order, gave me food, end of that story. #4 .50 cents charge to use a debit/credit card? Really? It’s 2014 yall. Knock it off with the nickel and diming people. #5 The food was decent. The fries were your typical, run of the mill, burger joint fries. Think Tams/Louis burger/all those other regular burger places with 4 dollar burger specials and whatever tasting fries. The burger itself was pretty good… a little bland, but good. It tastes like a good homemade burger. Honestly, you could probably make that burger at your house. That’s not to slight QnS. That’s just what I reminds me of and tastes like. The drink was a canned soda. Seriously. It was a canned soda –___– Overall, my experience wasn’t as bad as some people’s that have rated it. But, the likelihood that I’ll be back is pretty slim. Again, that’s not to slight QnS. I just didn’t taste anything that I feel was worth a second trip… especially not when there are 2 other burger spots within a mile or so of QnS that are much better, in my opinion. Like I always say, don’t take my word for it. Try it for yourself.

This place is definitely worth the drive! I recommend the Turkey western BBQ bacon burger. The Chef makes the turkey meat so flavorful! Don’t forget to try some of their homemade ice cream! Bomb

At first they was real good… Now they have poor customer service and they are filthy. You can see into their kitchen. The cashier went from touching money to becoming chef. Without washing hands. They also ran out of pastrami and chicken. Your most popular item has pastrami wtf? They clearly had a Cinco de Mayo special on fb. When asked about it they didn’t honor it. Would answer for my phone order and when i get here one guy just scrolling on his phone. This is a business first. I’m officially done. It sucks because I used to love this place.

So I went here yesterday. I had never heard nor seen of this place before but I was with some friends and tagged along. I ended up trying a burger. It was a cool burger I have no complaints about the food. The service i have no comment on one way or the other This is more so beware of the type of business they run(which says a whole lot b/c the responses to customers and what i am about to say) and the so called«specials» they post on fb. My friend wanted to go here because she likes this place. She follows on fb and there was a special posted for certain prices for certain items through the years from those eras(2.75 for 70s, 1.70 for the 80s). So us 3 gals pile into the car, 2 of us because 1 wants to go. We get there and lady behind the counters says«Its over».period point blank nothing else said to us about it. So we are both looking at our friend like ummm ok did you read it wrong? God bless her but our friend isnt the most computer savvy so we thought she mistakenly thought it was that day but b/c of how fb sorts maybe it was from a prior day. Im a curious person so today I decided to find and look on their fb page myself today and see that our friend did read the correct date however there was a caveat that says«UNTIL6PMORWHENEVERWENEEDTOSTOPTHISSPECIAL» say what now? I have never in my many moons on this earth seen a business post a special that says 6pm OR whenever we need to stop. Need to stop for what? is it a supply issue? a just because? we are losing money? i dont know i just didnt like it. I feel like if a business is going to run a special of any kind be professional about it and honor it. If the business feels they are going to lose money or run out of supplies there is nothing wrong with putting specific times or say UNTILSUPPLIESLASTANDTELLTHECUSTOMERS sorry we ran out anything besides«its over». They could have celebrated this same special like ive seen other restaurants do and say from 11 – 3 or 12 – 2 anything besides. heres todays special until 6pm or whenever the f**k we feel like stopping haha jokes on you. At any rate judging from my 1st experience here and looking over the other reviews its seem for sure do not trust the«specials» they put on fb. dont be fooled. Nothing here stood out as a I must go back type of experience but I like to try places ive never been so it was cool for me in that regard. Im just glad I didnt have a bad experience like the majority.

Just a quick update. Well. more a tip really. For those of us getting hooked up with Facebook or App specials, make absolute certain you mention that you’re ordering those specials. Called in an order last night and didn’t figure out I was being charged way more than I should have until I got there to pickup and pay when the cashier told me I had to say I was ordering specials when calling. She ended up giving me the specials price for the regular food because I was clearly clueless about the situation which was great, as was the food like always. They’re also in the middle of updating/renovating to add a drive thru so it’s good to see they won’t be going out of business any time soon. Keep it up.

Food-Five Stars Hospitality-No Stars… one bad apple or two can ruin the whole BUNCH. Very negative attitude upon rational complaints that could’ve been easily solved. But when you know you have shirty service & make a thousand mistakes w/orders. I guess you get on the defense at any small complaint. Anyone that knows me knows I’m simple when it comes to solving issues. Very humble. but it’s hard for me to deal w/irrational ppl. May God bless their soul & get them some help. My pics will tell all & show proof.

I wanted to write this review when I was at the peek of being upset, but decided to wait and also read through the reviews(both the ones posted and the ones that are hidden). In terms of the food, me and a couple of my coworkers came here for«taco Tuesday» and the tacos were great. You can choose between turkey or beef. They are super greasy, which is only a problem if you personally have a problem with it in which case you shouldn’t order tacos if it bothers you that much. So the person who told me about today’s special put in our order at 11:40 am over the phone. We get there around 12:15 pm and the tacos aren’t done which is a little weird, but we did place a healthy order(27 tacos). We decided to order fries to munch on while we waited for our order, got the fries and went through those while we were still waiting for our tacos. People were coming and going while we were waiting. This is where being annoyed kicked in. We eventually got our order at 12:40 pm and we were on our way. For anyone that complains about this place being ghetto you should stick to whatever city you’re from because no one told you come out to Gardena to try this place out. The service could use some improvement, but I wasn’t told to go «f myself» so it could definitely be worst. I’m from Southeast LA so I’ve heard and passed by the QNS on Slauson, but never been(too far from my old office in Culver City) nor do I know about the restaurants roots within the community. If it is true that they hire people that other jobs will automatically turn away for their looks or criminal history then I have a lot of respect for QNS. I can understand why the customer service isn’t through the roof if this is the case, but that shouldn’t really be an excuse. I will be back for some more«taco Tuesdays» and definitely want to try their«hidden menu» options.

Updated 4.28.13 I will just say this first… WOW!!! Second, see the response to my review below from the ‘owner’ while it’s still there, or their response to any of the other reviews here that weren’t satisfactory(there’s a few) and you judge for yourself if this is any kind of establishment that you want to spend your money at. NO accountability what so ever for ANYTHING your staff could have POSSIBLY done? Come on now… we don’t do this for fun, we do this to inform. One word. Deflection. Two words. Falsifier. Three words, and most important. GHETTO. I couldn’t make this kind of ignorance up if I wanted to… smh … OMG — THIS is the message I just got from the so called ‘Owner’ of this place… I was sitting in my car writing this Unilocal review and she sent me this message on FB after I typed — What a joke — in the recommendations on their FB page!!!(which has since been deleted) Conversation started today 3.28.135:21pm *Roxanna Crisp* I WILLTELLYOUWHATTHEJOKEIS, IFYOUDON’T GETOFFMYPROPERTYYOUWILLBEAPPROACHEDBYGARDENAPOLICEINYOURGRAYBMW, WEDONOTDEALWITHHOSTILECUSTOMERS, I AMONTHEPHONEWITHGARENAPOLICEASWESPEAK… YOUHAVETHEOPPORTUNITYTOLEAVEONYOUROWN… PSYCHOFORREAL!!! W.O.W. And since when does ‘polite’ constitute ALLCAPS? Lol — — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - Don’t come for the service… because there is NONE. Which is kind of sad, because I really wasn’t expecting much… It’s a hood burger spot, all I need is a big, greasy, messy burger and some decent fries and you’re in there. Attempted to call in an order on my first visit, after seeing all of the yummy-esque pictures on FB, I made a point to stop by there on my way home. I asked the man on the phone ‘what comes on the Quick Mac’. His response — ‘it’s just like the Big Mac at McDonalds’. So, now I’m running the song thru my head to go over the ingredients, I then made sure and asked, ‘so there’s no onion or tomato on it then’? He responds again, ‘its just like the Big Mac at McDonalds’. So I said ok, ‘give me one of those and can you tell me how your fries come? Is it only one way…’? And by this I was meaning curly, skinny, fat, etc. He says ‘Sm and Lg.’ Lol… So I say I’ll take a Sm, and just gave up getting anymore info on them and assumed there was only one style. Needless to say the call thus far has been a chore. He then asks me… ‘Do you want cheese on the burger’? *blank stare* Come on Unilocalers… you gotta know what my response is gonna be right? All the time I spent trying to get him to tell me simply WHATCAMEONTHEDAMNBURGER, so I can tell him what I would like. So I say ‘well there’s cheese on the Big Mac ain’t it’?? Silence. Then he says ‘well this isn’t McDonalds, so that’s why I’m asking.‘ Another *blank stare* All I could do is laugh… smh. I said ‘that’s why I was asking YOU what came on it, and you keep pushing me to sing McDonalds songs in my head!!’ I mentioned it was my first time there, and I was hoping it wouldn’t be my last, but he wasn’t making this process easy by ANY means. At this point it is SUPER obvious that this guy has NO business answering anybodies business phone and being their first customer contact. EVER. The annoyance in his voice, went well with his next action. He says ‘is that it’? I say ‘Yep, that’s it’. And the phone is not just set down, it’s SLAMMED down. No name taken, no thank you, no aight 15 minutes or dollar amount on the order, no NOTHING but an attempted dial tone. I say attempted, because I was calling from my cell so I didn’t get a dial tone, I just got a phone screen that kept counting the call time… Lol Needless to say, they got a call back, with nothing more than a ‘you know that order is being canceled right’ and a dial tone for him. The Frickin nerve… I even still showed up to this joint since I was already on my way and so close, because I was willing to give them another shot if ANYBODY other than him would take my order. When I asked if somebody else could take it, he said yeah. Then proceeded to ‘explain’ himself to me… and before I got too far into any kind of dialog, I stopped myself and he tried to continue just taking my order. I asked again, so is there somebody else that can take my order. I saw another employee motion and looked as if they wanted to take the order. His response was ‘no, I got it.’ *BLANKSTARE* I thought to myself — No, dude, you don’t got it. And I walked away. Guess I’ll stick to Oki Dog… or better yet, MCDONALD’S! LMAO I’ll never know what ACTUALLY comes on the ‘Quick Mac’. Stay Ghetto my friends(in my best Dos Equis voice…)
