Terrible service. They don’t even count the pieces correctly and none of the employees care. Don’t ever go here.

Takes long time in drive thru… I think it’s bs that fast food restaurant take EBT… they should only be able to use it at the grocery stores.

Now that they have the Ljs menu in the drive thru we don’t have to many issues w/this location. I’ve never had any bad experiences. Always has our our order right always hot and fresh. We always get chicken strips so we usually have to wait 10 – 15 minutes. But I don’t mind it’s fresh! Rather wait then wonder how long my chickens been sittin. Only downfall is they never seem to have any hushpuppies and there’s no posted hours of operation. i hate thinking oh they should be open late drive up. NOPE! Lol. Post ur hours plss. Other than that same ol’ same ol’ kfc and ljs.

Excellent service! From placing my order to the completing my order all staff that I came in contact with were friendly and exemplified the true definition of great customer service. The food was fresh and enjoyed. I must say I love their apple pies.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, trust me I would be pressing it like there was no tomorrow. This place has the absolute worst customer service ever. After getting in a predicament with them over receiving the wrong order, they SHUT the sliding door on me and gave me the worst attitude. Keep in mind, I was speaking respectively, and politely. This place needs to get shut down ASAP for their poor customer service.

Hmm. I’m really not sure how to rate a KFC on Unilocal. To be honest, I think most people know how KFC tastes(how it’s supposed to taste) so my rating is going to be based on service. 1 being piss poor and 5 being extraordinary. So why 2 stars? Because the service was less than average. I ended up using the drive through since the main store was closing for the night. The drive through took about 20 minutes to get through even though there was only one car ahead of me. As the registers inside were closed, I’m not sure why it took so long as the heaters were full of chicken. I guessed that service was slow but the lady in the car in front was arguing w the manager for a refund and just complaining in general – about what exactly, I couldn’t really hear. Anyway, she finally got her food and drove off. My food still took a little bit of time but not so long that it was unreasonable. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Once I paid and got my food, I was back on the road. 20 minutes later, I was upset to realize they had given me a wrong side and completely forgotten my 6 biscuits. It wasn’t the end of the world but it’s pretty bad as they failed the most basic of tasks: giving you what you asked and paid for. My order was not special or complicated. I didn’t have any odd requests or off menu items so it left me pretty upset. While the staff was friendly(which is expected), they still did an inadequate job. To get one star, they would have had to mess up my order even more and have been rude. Since I consider 3 stars as average and basically competent, I had to give them 2. I doubt I’ll be back even though I still want those biscuits. I’ll probably just go to a different location when I need my KFC fix met.

All I have to say is your employee Aldair is the sweetest person I have ever met working in fast food. My boyfriend and I drove 11 miles from Venice to Gardena because we decided that it had been years since we have had Long John Silvers and we were desperately in the mood for it. It was about 9:30pm when we got there and only the drive thru was open. We went through the drive thru and learned that Long John Silvers food isn’t served after 9pm. We were pretty sad until Aldair said he would make us the food if we just waited a bit for it. We parked off to the side and waited and soon enough this sweetheart comes to my car with the 12pc family meal we ordered. He tells us they don’t have any hush puppies so they substituted them with KFC biscuits… Aldair, you are awesome. We left very happy, not just because we got what had been wanting but also because this nice kid went out of his way to be a person. It was near closing when we got there so I know he must have been tired but he still delivered amazing customer service. I hope he reads this because we want him to know that hard working, kind and patient people like him are a rare breed. Aldair you earned yourself and your business 5 stars. Thank you.

Avoid this Long John Silvers if you can. I find myself going here because it’s the closest one to Gardena. So ghetto. The drive thru has NO Long John Silvers menu. WTF? You have to either know what you want and know the prices of what you want, or go inside to order. what type of shit is that? I’ve been to other locations(like Norwalk) and they have the LJS menu in the drive through alongside the KFC menu with no problem. What gives? My order took 20 minutes. That’s not not cool for KFC– orders should be out within 5 minutes or they let you know to pull to the side and are SUPPOSED to offer you a complimentary beverage while you wait– I used to work there, I know. I get out and walk to the front counter inside the lobby and I still waited 2 minutes. There was only 1 cashier and 1 cook for a 6 p.m. dinner rush. My, my my. That’s what I get for eating crappy food.

Went only because it’s also a long john silvers and my Mom wanted fish. Its 10 miles away but went anyway. Will NEVER return! Ordered 3 dinners and received 3 napkins and 1 fork! No condiments at all, so not happy. Opened my chicken dinner only to find out they got not one thing right! Right chicken pieces but wrong flavor of chicken and 2 completely wrong sides! Wouldn’t’ have been a complete loss if I’d have at least liked one of the sides. Service was extremely slow also. 3 people waiting to order and nobody up front, waited about 7 minutes for the first person to order. Employee was very No e and polite but the wait time and giving us the wrong food was unacceptable. At least my Mom enjoyed hers or I never would have heard the end of it!

I wish there was a way to give ¼ of a star. This is a Long John Silver/KFC combo. The service was very mediocre just like the food. I walked in to order from the Long John Silver menu because you can’t order in the drive-thru. I asked for tarter sauce and I was told that they ran out. UGH! I like tarter sauce with my fish. The fish was too salty… This was very disappointing.

I showed up right before they closed. Actually the dining room was closed, but drive thru was open. Here is where it gets weird. There are no menus for the Long John Silvers in the drive thru, so they made us press our faces against the glass doors since the dining room was closed, and had us try to make our selections that way! The fish and chicken were ok, perhaps a bit overdone. Drive thru open until 11pm!

OK chicken at a decent price as usual for KFC. The area is a bit sketchy and the place could definitely be cleaner. Every time I go, the people are friendly though… 3⁄5 stars.

If there is a choice of half a star, that would be the best way to describe this place. I’ve nothing nice to say to this place, I’ll drive the miles to go to a better location if I have to. No service at all.

This review is about the Long John Silver’s that shares the same restaraunt space as KFC. We were far from impressed, we ordered three chicken strips, two fish strips, hushpuppies, cole slaw and fries. We had to wait(appx. 20 – 25 mins.) while they fried it fresh, which should be a good thing, but in this case it was a bad thing. Plus they made us come inside and order, no drive-thru ordering for LJS’s. Apparently they don’t let the fried goods drain a little bit before packaging either. This was by far the worst/greasiest LJS’s that we have ever tried, never again.

What kind of KFC is owned by Polly’s Pies? That seemed suspicious to me so when I entered I ordered a very simple 2 piece meal and a drink. The bathroom was clean when I went in(but did not expect) with no weird graffiti or anything. MY food was delivered to my table in a timely manner and the soda fountains are on the outside of the counter(meaning free refills… to anyone, even homeless people who come in with an unrelated cup). My chicken was very good, it fell off the bone and was seasoned just like the Colonel would want it. My potato wedges were fresh and crispy, better on average than my normal KFC does it. My expectations upon entering this restaurant were very low, and they managed to surprise me with a high-quality meal and good service.

NO Stars! Because: 1. Runs out of Chicken all the time and also don’t have them ready when you order — which leads to #2(for a chicken restaurant??) 2. will say 10 min. wait but its actually 20 – 25 min. because it is not ready 3. employees there lacks customer service — they’re only upto standard at daytime when they have a manager on duty but Very Unprofessional after 6 p.m. i live just down the street and Yoshinoya has chicken with better service. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID… all in caps Pro: Theres a LONGJOHNSILVER with KFC at this location. i hope someone higher up from KFC reads Unilocal!!!

I did the double down, and survived. This burger/sandwich/meat in a wrapper(?) is everything that is wrong with obese America. It covers 2 of the 3 things that humans, if you believe in evolution, have craved during our scant existence on this earth. However, most people will have you believe that KFC and it’s fast food bretheren are the sole cause of obesity in America. Stop me if I’m wrong, but I believe that humans crave tastes of nutrients our body needs. We’re thirsty when we need water, and hungry when we need food. From what I understand, the reason we’re all fat is this programmed need for 3 things: salt, fat, and sugar. Previously, our ancestors lacked these nutrients and hunted most of the day for these ingredients. Nowadays, with modern technology, we’re able to have any of these whenever we want. What happens when you combine all 3 of these with a sedentary lifestyle where you no longer need to spend hours a day walking and trying to forage for food, chase your next meal, or climb trees for fruit? YOUGETFAT. Pure and simple, KFC merely provides the means for you to fatten yourself up. They, like most innocuous businesses, are only interested in providing you with what you want and making a buck out of it. Just enjoy the fried chicken. But go for a walk afterwards. Ok, maybe a marathon after eating the double down. If your arteries arent’ too hard.
