A hole in the wall, and most amazing Hawaiian food ever! My best friend recommended this place cuz he’s been coming here for years. The fried Chicken is amazing. It’s sweet but not too sweet and the batter is perfect crispy. I also loved the chow main and the fries rice. The cashier is Japanese and super nice. I brushed up on my Japanese while ordering.

Yes, I can be a harsh critic when it comes to Hawaiian style restaurants but I feel justified as I was born and raised in Hawaii, my family all cooks Hawaiian style food and I go back home enough so that I haven’t forgotten what authentic Hawaiian style food should taste like. So, why the three stars and not more? Well, I’d like to say that I really enjoyed my lunch at Harry’s when I dropped in and had a bowl of Won Ton Min Saimin and a five piece order of Harry’s Chicken. But, I feel like it was just okay. First — I did like the Saimin with Won Ton as the broth was piping hot and the noodles weren’t overcooked and mushy. But, what’s with all the cabbage? The last time I went back home, I had Saimin with Won Ton four different times. Not a leaf or shred of cabbage, period. Lots of Won Ton but not a lot of meat in them. They weren’t too bad. They didn’t shred when I picked them up and it wasn’t some mystery paste inside. Did I mention all the cabbage? In my picture, you can’t tell because they were buried in the soup but believe me, there was a lot. The chicken was okay too. A little on the sweet side. I liked that it was boneless and dark meat but too sweet for my taste. The limited service was decent. You order, have a seat and your food will be brought out to you. No table service other than that. Friendly though.
