OMG!!! This place is a gem!!! I pasted by on my way to work and i have been driving on my brakes for sometime now. I called them first and asked for an appointment, stating I wanted to come during my lunch. The man over the phone said just to come. Once I arrived, he said he could do my brakes in one hour and the cost was more than half of what the dealership told me. THEY FINISHED MY BREAKS IN 30MINS OR LESS. He stated because he knew I was on my lunch, he had two guys do my brakes… I almost gave him a hug. I still had time to get lunch afterwords! I am still in awwwwwwww of how fast the service was!!! I will be going back for all my vehicle service.

I discovered this place by accident as I was in the neighborhood having a trailer hitch installed at U-​Haul. Since I was early for my appointment I cruised by and asked if he had time to do my front brakes and rotors. He did it at almost half the price I had been quoted earlier by a chain store and was quick. Recently I had my rear brakes and rotors replaced here and was charged even less than the fronts. Add to that tire balancing and I was out of there in an hour! I traveled from Orange County to LA just for his honest and speedy service.

I’ve been going to Simon for over 10 years. Now my family and friends all go there, too. He and his brother run the shop. I worked for AAA so I’ve been to and dealt with a lot of Auto Shops. He’s the only mechanic I’ve been to who doesn’t try to turn an oil change into an expensive ordeal.
He’s honest, his prices are great, and he doesn’t try to sell you unnecessary work.
He is Korean and his English isn’t great but enough to communicate. Don’t expect much of the place or conversation. But he has amazingly always finished the work on time (and quickly).
He does smog, too. $ 55 for SUV’s/vans & $ 50 for sedans. Mention Unilocal and you get $ 5 off.
