It’a 7 – 11, so I would assume anyone reading this is somewhat aware of what they have to offer. Coffee, donuts, drinks, snacks, limited grocery items, beer, wine and the ever so loved Slurpee. This place is open 24⁄7 and serves as a substation for Gardena police after 11pm most nights. So if you got a bad case of the munchies this may not be your go to spot but good lick finding anywhere else open that you can actually walk into in Gardena. Yeah yeah I know about CVS. Anyway. This location is right in my mom’s hometown and I’ve been a billion times seems like there’s always new staff but always very friendly, what more do you want. 7 – 11 recently started selling a gang of hot foods, pizza, wings and I don’t even know. I saw a guy order two pizzas and wait, he swore they were surprisingly, «really good.» I have had a few 7 – 11 hotdogs in my day so I’m kinda curious.

I’m a 7-Eleven fanatic. If I see a 7-Eleven I feel inclined to stop and go in. This one is on my way to school. So naturally I stop here often. This store is always clean, they keep the coffee area spotless. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but when I do want some, I feel really good grabbing my coffee on the go. The hot food display is always full and the staff at this one recognize their regulars.

Hahahaha! The homie bought a donut, the pink one with sprinkles that looked exactly like the one in the Simpsons… hmmmmm dooouuuuuugggghhhhnnnnnuuuutttt. Anyways, I was bad. Real bad! Got the 2 for $ 2.29 hotdog deal and loaded it with jalapeños, onions, nacho cheese and chili. I also got a Piña Colada Slurpee… mmmmmmmm! Tip of the Day: Scoot your hotdog in the cardboard packaging over and now you have room to add more nacho cheese and/or chili to dip into that’s basically the size of a McDonald’s Sweet ‘n’ Sour sauce compartment. HAHA! SOBAD but sometimes SOGOOD.

Before the 7 eleven opened up on Western, I frequented this one a lot more. I usually stop here on my way to work if I need a quick early morning snack because I was too lazy to make breakfast for myself. Also because most restaurants aren’t open when I go to work(6am!) so its good to pick up some popcorn or beef jerky to get me going. The staff is really nice and I’ve always been able to find what I’m looking for when I go there. The location is pretty easy to get in and out of in the mornings, but not so much during the day because Marine and Van Ness can have heavy traffic since there is a high school nearby. Cool store to frequent if you’re in the area.
