Place is closed. It is now a Vietnamese restaurant.

Old, ugly Chinese restaurant with a piece of a paper glued to the menu for«seafood». Trust me — there is a reason why you don’t have to wait. It does not compare to Boiling Crab.

Excellent. Good service from a kinda hyper girl. Haha. It was empty so service was quick. Loved it. I’ll be back to take some photos.

–Shrimp was good with the awesome price of $ 7/lb. –crawfish was wayy too salty! There’s a difference between flavorful and salty, apparently the chef of that day chose to overly-flavored it with massive salt! Blehh. — fries was $ 4 with a very tiny portion. :/ –shrimp fried rice was bland. :/ –service was ok, they were nice but our waiter tend to have a short term memory since he kept forgetting to get me napkins. His confusion was very easily triggered, I asked«can you split our bill into 2 please?» and his respond was«o.O» huh? You’re confusing me…” -.-«. — overall, will just come back to togo the shrimp.

Let’s be honest… I’ve had my fair share of gettin dirrrrrtaay with crawfish, shrimp and cajun sauces from a good handful of crawfish eateries in Westminster/Garden Grove, but I must say, Spicy Claw House is the first of its competitors to strike it rich(for me at least), leaving me wanting more. I know everyone compares just about every other damn place to Boiling Crab, but this place is different and the vibe will definitely be a bit of a surprise. Formerly a Chinese restaurant, new management introduced the seafood menu while keeping the old menu. Uhh. whaaaaat? Chinese food AND seafood? I know… weird combination, but it works! I never get full without shelling(pun intended) out $ 30+ on myself, so the Chinese menu offers options to fill you up. And if you’re craving Chinese and seafood, BESTOFBOTHWORLDS just happened! On to the food: 1 lb crawfish; 1 lb shrimp; corn; sausage; Mongolian beef with a bowl of rice There’s only one sauce but I still dream about it… yes, even now. It’s cooked in a garlic butter sauce, but you’ll question yourself whether there’s butter in there or not. It’s like a garlic purée and it gets in every nook and cranny of your seafood of choice. This is perhaps the first time I found myself eating mouthfuls of the sauce with every piece. YUP — it was THAT good. The sausage is a great pairing with the sauce and I seriously used the garlic sauce as a spread on the corn too. Unlike other restaurants, you leave the restaurant smelling the way you first came. None of those telltale signs that you ate at BC from three or five days ago. However, i must warn you… you’ll be burping up garlic all day(which made me want to come back and eat more haha). Service has been fair. They are quick to please and offer great recommendations. They have TVs to watch your team on game days and pretty awesome happy hour specials. I can’t say much for their Chinese menu offerings, but for the seafood you should definitely stroll on through. Little to no wait Quick and friendly service Not too noisy — you can hear your friends Cheaper than competitors —($ 6-$ 7 per pound) GARLICGALORE

Crawfish with no lines today, just the way I like it. Also, with extra sauce on the side.

Sold. Went here to catch a laker game with some friends who were in the neighborhood. Split a tray consisting of 3lbs of crawfish with a side of sausage(…) in addition to about 9 beers. The total came out to roughly $ 40 and change after tip… thinking about it now, that probably means I tipped too little(WHOOPS!). Had nothing to do with the service though. Actually, the service was one of the best parts about my visit! They are very attentive to any needs without being over bearing; perfect for when you don’t want your crawfish game disturbed. If you are a garlic love this place is pretty much a no brainer. 5 stars for ridiculously cheap beers, a 60 inch or so TV, great sauce to compliment the fresh shellfish, service, and did I say cheap beers? sorry about the tip, most likely I was drunk. I’ll make it up to you guys next time spicy claw house.

I went here today for the first time and I am so mad I never knew about this place sooner. It was formerly a Cantonese restaurant but they kept the same menu and chefs from the previous restaurant and added the seafood twist to it so you can get the same thing as boiling crab except you get free hot tea like a normal chinese restaurant. even better, they have TVs so we enjoyed the game while we ate. best thing about the crawfish and shrimp is the PRICE. way cheaper than boiling crap. it was only like $ 6 – 7 a pound. SERVICE was excellent and the server was really attentive. it is a family owned restaurant and they are all VERY friendly. Most of all, the seasoning/sauce for the shrimp/crawfish was DELICIOUS. if you’re a fan of garlic you will enjoy it. aside from their seafood, we ordered beef fried rice which had an assortment of vegies from water chestnuts, brocolli, chinese bac choi. it complimented the pound of shrimp i ordered very well. *i asked for medium spicy and it wasn’t spicy enough for me. so if you like spicy, make sure you ask them to make it REALLY spicy! great experience. definately coming back!

This place is amazing. Not only do they serve Cajun style seafood with their own twist, but you can get traditional Asian food here as well. The sauce for the crawfish & shrimp is definitely the best part, you can’t find that flavor anywhere else. It’s the perfect mix of flavors with great consistency, and what’s to love is that it is not overly oiled up to the point that your stomach ends up feeling extra heavy by the end of your meal like some other places. The shrimp they give you are also huge, and at $ 6.99 a pound Spicy Claw House definitely deserves to be recognized. The service was great and comfortable, and having a TV with the games on are always a plus. I’m definitely going to come back here«over and over and crossover dribble again.»

i didn’t actually eat here but the crawfish was interesting so ihad to review this review is just for the crawfish so for my neighbors birthday his family bought 7 pounds of crawfish to eat at home. it was a simple mild seasoning, and they gave us almost 8 pounds which was nice. so the seasoning interesting i don’t know how to describe it, let’s just say what it is. it looks HORRENDOUS, but oh no no don’t let looks fool you, no sir because when i took the crawfish for a taste the seasoning definitely had a taste of pepper and light spices, on top of all that it just tasted of like a good dippable sauce the crawfish weren’t small but then it’ didn’t seem like it was the fresh kind felt like as if it was a semi fresh like as if it was frozen that week still tasted good i’m not a huge fan of crawfish but man this was sometin probably not my first choice but would be like my 3rd choice just in case i didn’t want to wait

This restaurant was recently purchased and they’ve put some effort in revising the menu and adding CRAWFISH to their line of products. The space is quite old, but the food makes up for it. I ordered the beef and brocolli with shrimp fried rice and it was AMAZING! Good hearty portions and great customer service!
