Horrible customer service! Purchased family meal this saturday through drive thru around 6pm. Cashier informed me I have to wait 20 – 25 minutes !! Are you kidding me? After 30 minutes, I got home and I was missing the biscuits and no white meat. An employee named evan or devan has a face that he hates his job, I called and wanted to speak to the manager but no manager is their just a Pic. Leaves a bad image. Corporate should fire all these bums including manager.

I came in Monday on my lunch break, I work by the block of orange and am always in a rush when I come in. So I accidently grabbed the wrong food and headed right back to work. I called a week later to let then know about the incident and they are replacing my entire order. Talk about service I love this place. Thanks Popeyes !!

This place is only a few steps away from work. So sometimes I like to come here after work.
Nothing beats two piece Tuesdays at Popeyes. That’s when the two piece meal is only 1 something! The deep fried crispness of the chicken never fails to amaze me. Often times, you may go to other places and have chicken that just tastes like deep fried oil. Not here! The spices that Popeyes uses in their batter make every juicy bite of chicken a dose of goodness.
The dining area is quite small, and it can a bit crowded during the lunch hour (noon), so come a bit earlier than that if you want to beat the lunch rush. The parking lot is pretty small, but there is a drive-​thru. The service is okay and the facilities are usually clean. All in all, good place to pick up awesome fried chicken for cheap.

Don’t even bother wasting your time, money or energy at this place. Don’t eat here. From customer service to the food is straight out nasty. Ppl that work here don’t even give a fuck about anything or anyone. I don’t trust them handling the food right. So pls go further down besides here! It so worth it

Soooo just came to garden grove Popeyes JUST BECAUSE we wanted a drive thru (lazy I know) anyways, we stood at the drive thru for a while no one answered went up to the window and no one was there. A worker was throwing out the trash & we asked if they were open he said yes, & then we asked if their drive thru was open & he just shook his head. We had to come inside and we asked him again (happened to be the cashier) if it was or wasn’t he just looked at us and then said yes. it. is. And we were so confused, and then he was like: «I just don’t have the headpiece on so I wouldn’t know» WHAT IN THE WORLD.
What kind of customer service is that. He preceded to take my friends order, not mine, had to wait until that was ready to order mine when he got back to the front. Half star for this place.

This place is the worst Popeyes in Orange County I went there at 6:15 pm on a Thursday placed a order for there 24 piece mix meal that they have on special and was told they only have 12 pieces of chicken and I could wait about a half hour to complete the order can you imagine a place that only sells chicken at dinner time only has 12 pieces. Who ever is managing this place should be replaced ASAP

Can I say negative zero. this was on my way home today so I and my family decided to get some for dinner and its a negative ! My macaroni was raw and watery as I attempted to call not even 5 minutes ago its a fax machine!?! if your selling food you need to make sure it complelety cooked this is so wrong some could end up getting sick & a file law suit against you guys.

Corporate needs to go in this place and clean house. A bunch of snails at this location. Not only are they slower than sap, but they don’t even take the extra time they make you wait to get your order right. When call to complain or advise of the error, they never answer the phone. The managers never seem to be working and do not call you back. A friend of mine left their phone on the table and one of the employees took off with it.
They need to lock all the employees in the freezer and lock the doors for good!!! I will NEVER go back to this HORRENDOUS place.

Popeyes fix this! Why do i have to pay extra for sauces for the chicken? I ordered 11 pieces of chicken and 5 chicken tenders and was only given 3 packs of sauce for 16 pieces of chicken. $ 29.13 was already spend for chicken & a single order of biscuits only, no sides included. Spending that much money for some chicken i should get more than just 3 packs of sauce. Popeyes fix this!

One of the worst service in my opinion. My buddy and I came here after a long decepcion of where to go eat. Bad decision our part, after spending $ 22 on am 8 piece combo, they refuse to give us more than 2 sauces. I only asked for the sauces I was going to eat. After talking to the manager and I’m pretty sure the owner, they kept arguing that it’s the company policy to give only 2 sauces. Very disappointed at this location, I do not recommend this place. It’s my last time I’ll every come to this location. I drive for for a living and I will tell all my passengers about this Popeyes specifically. I’m pretty sure they don’t care. Do yourself a favor and go eat somewhere else. I’m pretty sure they curse me and later on I’ll be getting diarrhea but I don’t care people need to know this place SUCKS!!!

I love Popeyes, but like many others here on Unilocal,experienced the worst customer service at this location. To make things worst, the guy tells me they don’t have any more sweet tea and apple pies.
I can see in towards their back room and I see several gallons of sweet tea… really?
I am never coming to this Popeyes again.

The worst Popeyes ever.
Lazy Hispanic guy 12÷19÷15 out front putting away chairs at 9:10pm greeted us saying «we’re closed…»
I said seriously? It’s 9pm
He replied“we only have chicken left…“
Ok well I’m here to get chicken. He lets me in. I order 16 pieces. Clerk asks me if I wanted sides… I thought y’all were out? Turns out they still had everything.
I ordered my 16 pieces with 3 sides… While I was waiting, another dude came into the store, and the first thing out of that Hispanic dudes mouth was «we only have chicken left…»
Like seriously. This guy was BEYOND lazy and selfish, just so he can bring home the leftovers since they’re not allowed to serve overnight chicken to next day customers… What disgusting lies he kept pushing on customers.
I came home to find out they only gave me 12 pieces and my receipt showed that I clearly paid 36 $ for the 16 pieces. How annoying! That guy needs to seriously be fired, simply for his ethics…

I LOVE POPEYES, But … the customer service made it taste like crap!
First of all, the lady at the drive thru was talking over my boyfriend and before he even finished the order she said «ok that will be _​_​_​, thank you!»
he says «woah slow down can you let me finish» … There was a pause and a man steps in to take our order.
We pull up to the window and my boyfriend asks for 3 hot sauces $ 0.25 each.
When we get home, the food is cold, it’s not spicy. There are NO hot sauces and the Large Fries we order is basically like a handful of soggy cold fries thrown into a bag.
PLUS they didn’t even have Sweet Tea !? wtf I was craving that so bad lol
This is the worst customer service ever. I’ll be okay driving an extra 2 miles to the next Popeyes

Worst customer service ever. I ordered 6 spicy Tuesday special and waited in my car for 30 minutes and they said they don’t have spicy so they only give me mild, that’s fine. They only give me 3 ketchup and hot sauce because company policy. The coleslaw only half full. Never come back

Let me start off by saying that this review is not about the food. But honestly, you don’t need a review for the food at a chain like this — you know what you’re getting into; the service is what varies from location to location.
Without a doubt or even a shred of hyperbole, this was the worst Popeye’s to which I have ever been. Their staff seems thoroughly incompetent at even the barest pretense of customer service, instead more interested in continuing their own conversations while lazily ambling through their kitchen. No one seems concerned with the length of their line or the myriad number of people waiting for their food. And of course, once the food arrives — which will take in excess of twenty minutes from the time you order — you cannot guarantee that it will have any relation to the meal that you ordered.
Tl:dr I would literally rather walk through a floor strewn with Legos before setting foot back in here.

I ordered the Bonafide Big Box with Spicy Tenders, Red Beans & Rice, Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy & Biscuit for $ 5.00
The Tenders were crunchy, the Red Beans & Rice was delicious, the Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy was very good and the Biscuit was buttery.
An action-​packed Meal from this Drive Thru.
