I was really sick for a whole week and a half before making an appointment at this particular office. I had body aches, slight fever, extreme congestion, sinus pressure, and non-stop coughing with insane amounts of mucous. I know my body and I have gotten strep throat and bronchitis a few times in the past and this felt like bronchitis. After doing lots of fluids and OTC meds for a week and a half I finally went to see this doctor. I told the assistant and doctor that I feel like I have bronchitis. The doctor saw me for maybe 2 minutes IFTHAT and told me I had a cold and sent me home with a prescription for an anti-inflammatory(naproxen) because my throat was so inflamed due to all the coughing. He looked inside my mouth with the otoscope for about 4 seconds. Did NOT even listen to my lungs and basically kicked me out of his office. IDK if it was because I asked him for a doctor’s note for school because I missed a midterm and he thought I was lying about the extent of my illness, but he was very careless and cold. After almost a painful 2 months. my symptoms have become worse. I was doing the whole mucinex/delsym/nyquil regimen for awhile because I was told I had just a cold and so naturally, I believed it was just a cold. My friends and family kept telling me to go back, but I don’t like being a cry baby so I tried to stick it out. Weeks of restless nights made it hard to get up for school and since I missed a couple of days last quarter due to the same issues I didn’t want it to happen again winter quarter. I started to feel extremely bad with a fever and a lot of pain in my sinuses and my chest started to hurt beginning Tuesday, 01⁄12. I went to the urgent care Thursday, 01⁄14 and was told that if I had waited any longer my «cold» would have developed into pneumonia. I was diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory tract infection and was given antibiotics and steroids and I am happy to report I am doing MUCHMUCH better in just 24 hours. My doctor was extremely shocked that the first doctor couldn’t tell by the sounds of my lungs how bad of a shape I was in and I told my doctor that the first doctor(the one I’m writing this review about) didn’t even listen to my lungs and that he saw me for maybe 2 minutes with just an otoscope and sent me home and made me feel as if I was a liar or faker. And my doctor says to me, well, that is why medical mistakes is the #3 killer in the US. I would advise you to find a much caring and nicer doctor and stay away from this place!

I’ve been taking my parents here to see the family doctor for different reasons at different times and always had pleasant experience. The doctor and the front office staff are nice and they’re also fluent in Korean which makes it easier for my parents to communicate with them directly without me having to translate. They have different specialists and diagnostic services available as well so it’s very convenient.
