Maisano’s Wholesale Bakery

I’m from the east coast (New England) where I have been shipping fresh New England top split rolls for Lobster, shrimp or the old style hot dogs from CT, NY & NJ to Costa Mesa for decades since you can’t get them on the west coast.
I stumbled on one of the best Lobster rolls at Captain Kid’s in Redondo Beach. The lobster was perfect but the top split roll was like none I had ever had in all of New England!
If God were ordering a lobster roll he would order it on this roll (known as a Kobe roll) from Maisano’s Italian Bakery in Garden Grove!
Don’t let the fact they sell primarily to businesses stop you from buying all your bread fresh from these guys made to order a day in advance!
No preservatives, the best hot dog & hamburger buns I have ever had! You can even order slider, hamburger or hot dog buns in white, wheat, Kobe or squaw!
I don’t think I will buy bread anywhere else from now on. Makes every hot dog, hamburger or sandwich exceptional!

These guys are awesome! I have a food booth that sells burgers and we had been making our own buns for quite some time but it grew to be too much work to make it worthwhile. When I started looking for a hamburger bun vendor I had a hard time getting anyone to even return a phone call to me because I’m such a small business.
Of the two companies that I was actually able to speak to a sales rep with, Ashley at Maisano’s was the only one who was genuinely willing to work with me. I had never tried their product before when I initially contacted them so she set aside a sample batch of the buns I was looking for and they were just perfect. Just now I called to make a change to the order that I’m picking up in a few days (needing a slightly smaller bun) and not only was she happy to make the change but there was even an unexpected price decrease as a result.
The only other bakery in town that was willing to call me back was almost twice as expensive, said the price was the same regardless of the size of the bun and told me that I was actually being offered a deal as compared to their other customers. I haven’t even picked up my final order yet and I’m already thrilled with the service at Maisano’s. This is truly the best bakery in town for small businesses.

I have never been in the location in Garden Grove, however their sourdough bread is sold at the Marbella Market in San Juan Capistrano. It is better sourdough bread than bread offered at Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, Gelson’s, Ralph’s or Albertson’s. Believe me we have taste tested. I hope they keep making their wonderful bread!

I fully agree with the first review, the hamburger buns are the best ever. I have trouble finding them in stock at my local market. The 7″ hogie rolls are also wonderful!
