Went there for the first time it’s a little hole in the wall, kind of expensive for basic Mexican food. I got the chorizo, chicken tacos, and beans. The chorizo was okay, the chicken tacos could have been better, I didn’t realize they served big chucks of chicken and a watered down tomato broth. They should do pollo asado because if you get the tacos Togo it makes the tortillas soggy. And also use dark meat the chicken was way too dry. I’ll probably go again for the carnitas but other then that it’s to pricey for what your getting, and the chicken lacks.

Everything I’ve tried here is authentic Mexican like Grandma makes! From the tortillas to the burritos. My absolute favorite is the chicarons. They are amazing and are in a league of there own. Every time I stop in I have to get a pound to go!

A hidden restaurant located in an industrial area in Garden Grove; it can be hard to find. When you walk in you will see a display of food, similar to a cafeteria. The menu is hanging above showing pictures of the dishes. There are fridges containing beverages and desserts. They also make and sell their own tortilla shells and chips. There is no place to sit inside but there are tables and chairs outside; I prefer to take the food to go. :Drinks: The first time I came here the Horchata was too sweet but on my second visit it was just right. ~Note: $.75 for soda refills :Food: I ordered the Carne Asada Plate which comes with rice, beans topped with cheese, lettuce, slices of tomatoes, sour cream, and fresh tortilla. The Carne Asada is so good! Cooked just right and I liked the flavor. Their salsa also taste good(it’s not too spicy). I got a bag of their tortilla chips and it was«ok». I would come back to order the Carne Asada Plate again! ( ) :Customer Service: Straight to the point. You order and they give you the food. :M’s Notes: ~Outdoor seating ~Parking lot

The cashier was a little rude. She took our orders and got it wrong, even charging us extra? While the food was decent and big for the price, I didn’t enjoy the service. Even though they weren’t closing for another half an hour, I felt rushed to order.

This place is really amazing! First time I ate at this place I cried tears of joy because the food was soo delicious. I had trouble finding it so it was like a mini adventure for me. Some people don’t like searching for resturaunts but this one is worth searching for. The employees are really nice. Great atmosphere and they even make the food in front of you! I would give it a 10 star rating if they had that.

i lived in garden grove, right down the street from this place for years. went by it a thousand times and never noticed it. then one time, about 8 years ago, i was riding my bike to 7 – 11, taking acacia as a shortcut and saw 4 cop cars out front. being curious and hoping for a shootout or something, i rolled up closer to check it out. they were eating there… and i thought, «where the hell did this place come from?» that day, on the way back from 7 – 11 after getting smokes, i had my first taste of this place. i figured, if cops eat here, it must be good, since cops probably aren’t gonna eat somewhere that they’re gonna have to stop later to take a crap. and y’know how some tiny mexican places can just make your insides blow out like that cute little bugger that exploded out of john hurt in alien… so i ate there religiously the whole time i lived in garden grove. moved away and haven’t been there in awhile, but after fighting my way thru the insanely crowded parking lot at home depot, i figured it was high time i stopped back in for a delicious wet carnitas burrito. and damn, that shit was awesome! hard to believe a place the size of my bathroom can make such amazing food.

It’s been about 6 months and they still can’t seem to make chorizo and egg Burrito the correct way. Sometimes it has a little piece Chorizo or the egg is like its a sunny side up egg and then they mix the small piece of chorizo. Flour tortillas are overcooked to were they’re breaking. maybe it’s time to change place at least the food would be cooked correctly.

Went in to try a burrito that I should not be eating since I am trying to eat healthy! I couldn’t resist on eating the entire thing, it was absolutely delicious! I also took some corn tamales home and everyone is telling me they are delicious! My entire family is picky when we buy these since we made and sold them for many years! Will be coming again for sure!

The burrito al pastor was underwhelming. The size is big but slightly smaller then the ones you get at Chipotle. It’s also overly greasy and the hot sauce was not hot at all. The price of the burrito was $ 5.19 and there’s a $.85 surcharge if you use a credit for an order under $ 10.

Our business is up the street and I was craving for tamales and tacos. My husband said to go up the street to try it out. Needless to say, everyone was friendly and smiling. The food was tasty. I got carne asada tacos, chicken tacos, chicken tamales, pork tamales, sweet corn tamales, and a carne asada burrito! I came back for more sweet corn tamales! And now im craving for another, but I’m not in the area. What is a girl to do!?! Please open one in Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach! Lol i will be back for some more auntentic grub!

I used to love this place. But today they disappointed me. 3 stars are for the times they didn’t disappoint. I’m not sure what happened. The service, quality and flavor of food were all lacking. The girl behind the counter wad actually rude to my boyfriend. The tacos barely had any flavor, maybe because they didn’t put any meat in them. I doubt we’ll come back.

How does a hole in the wall business, hidden in the most literal sense by auto shops and corporate offices, and being tucked away out of street view? I had no idea this was even here and I grew up in this city! But thank the based god I did stumble upon this jewel in garden grove. Come for the chicharron, stay for the rest of the food that they make because it is delicious and your fat maw can get stuffed with carne asada tacos, beef birria, and a whole bunch of other authentic sounding Mexican food. Just a heads up to those who go late, on a few occasions I’ve stopped by 30 minutes before closing and they were already cleaning up, doors were locked but open sign is on.

Chicharron burrito is really tasty! The burrito itself is HUGE and I could only eat half of it! Each ingredient has a distinct flavor making the burrito yummy !!

Huge tacos for two dollars and change. A large selection to choose from. So close to my work, it’s too much temptation.

I was working in the area and heard about this Mexican establishment. To me it was on par with other taqueria spots I’ve been to. I ordered two carnitas tacos with rice and beans. Cost was $ 7.50 before tax. They charge 85 cents if you want to pay with credit card for a meal under $ 10. I enjoyed the tacos and rice, but thought the beans were just ok. Salsa was good. I think they may be a bit more expensive than other taqueria places, but if you are nearby, I think they are worth trying.
