I love this spot! Just hate that there never enough seating! I guess that’s a good sign! Love it! It’s dinner like atmosphere. My favorite thing to eat here is the chicken teriyaki dinner! Also love the onion rings. Everyone who I bring here enjoys it!

Will definitely satisfy your burger craving. They also do a ton of other dishes from chicken to grilled cheese. The fries dipped in some ranch are amazing. This traditional American comfort food as a nice twist with the diner atmosphere. Removed one star for staff friendliness. They don’t seem particularly happy, though you didn’t really go there for the staff anyways I guess. Recommendations: bulgogi burger, fries, any cheeseburger(with bacon yummm), fried zucchini.

The place makes really tasty burgers and fries. This place is usually busy and will have you wait about 10 minutes. Regardless, they provide you service in a pretty timely fashion. The service is pretty good, and my only complaint would be that the place is too small and can get quite chaotic when there are lots of people. It may be difficult to find a place to sit when this is happening. Also, the place is pretty old and looks a little run down I’m some areas. I would recommend that they do a little bit of remodeling, or make sure the place is a little better kept. Other than than, this place is a really good place to go with friends or go if you are craving a good burger. My usual order is the bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries and a coke.

3.5 stars for this hole-in-the-wall joint. If you don’t live around here, you’d never know it existed in a small strip mall with unassuming signs. They have things like a Bulgogi burger on the menu and other dinners, but I went with the triple cheeseburger. My only complaint is the prices that were in Unilocal pictures were lower than the actual price there, but besides that it’s worth stepping away from Disneyland if you have the time too. Although a fast food burger joint, between the short order cooks and owners, they’ve got the fusion thing going on. One of the highlights of my visit was the couple behind me that almost started screaming when they saw the bulgogi burger on the menu. Take it easy fellas… clearly you don’t get out much. Thumbs up to cheap eats find thanks to Unilocalers.

I had just left my buddies house in Huntington, and I was driving to my hotel near Disneyland. I was going to get a pizza somewhere, but all of a sudden a fried zucchini craving hit. OC and LA are the king of mom and pop burger joints that usually carry fried zucchini, so I busted out my Unilocal app and saw that Apollo Burgers was right down the street from my hotel. I plugged in in the GPS and was on my way. This place is located on the corner of a little strip mall. The parking lot was crowded! I found a spot on the opposite end of the lot and walked over. This place was popping! Every table was full, and there was a line of about 4 people ahead of me. I finally made it to the front and placed my order for a Double Cheeseburger with just meat/onions/cheese, and an order of Fried Zucchini. I had a cup of water to drink. My total was just over $ 11.00. I grabbed a seat and about 10 minutes later, they brought out my food to my table. Here is how it was… Double Cheeseburger– Decent. I ordered mine pretty plain with just meat cheese and onions. I think that was actually why I didn’t enjoy it more. These type of burgers need the lettuce/thousand island etc to complete them. My burger was pretty dry. I did enjoy the taste of the flame grilled patties though and scarfed it down pretty quick. Fried Zucchini– Burger places like these always make the best fried zucchini! Apollos version is a middle cut version. Not skinny«zucchini fries», but not«long zucchini spears» either. They were like zucchini nuggets almost. The breading was great, and the ranch they serve them with was awesome, too! I would have preferred them just a bit skinnier, but they still worked, satisfied my craving and were the best part of this meal. Cup of Water– This was like a 6 ounce cup of water. LOL. It was the smallest cup of water I have ever seen… seriously like a little bit bigger than a dixie cup. 2 sips and it was gone. Anyways… Overall, I thought it was A-OK. A tad pricey though! My meal was over $ 11.00 for a burger and zucchini. If I would have added a drink, we are looking at close to $ 13 – 14.00. Steep! I prefer other similar style burger joints over this one, but if you are in the area and are craving this type of food, this place fits the bill.

My husband brought us here for food the other day. I’ve been experiencing bad morning sickness with a pregnancy, so food and I haven’t been getting along. This is the first full meal I’d been able to eat in months. It was delicious. The lady at the counter was super friendly. I ordered the ¼ burger combo. She was patient while I switched a few condiment orders on the burger around. The place was crowded, and seating was limited, but I think we came during a busy time. The burger was great! Instead of regular yellow mustard, they used a Dijon mustard, and it was fantastic! Like I said at the beginning, it’s the first full meal I’ve been able to eat in months. I’d definitely recommend it! We will be back!

Stopped in to get a breakfast to go. Not my normal spot, but I was on the other side of town. They have some great looking specials, I had the bacon, eggs, Hash browns, toast, for 8 bucks. Everything was cooked perfect, bacon had great crunch. Friendly workers, they were quick to get me in and out. Time is money, and they respect that. Great first visit!

I always drive by this joint going home from work, finally came here during my lunch. The lady that took my order was very nice and helpful. I ordered a club sandwich with a side salad and unsweetened ice tea. I was one delicious lunch I had and very healthy with wheat bread instead of white. Definitely coming back if angelos burger is pack again by my job in garden grove.

The RUNDOWN #####====== I ordered the pastrami salad, terrible meat and was very chooey and undercooked. Second attempt I told them I wanted a grilled chicken salad instead, they cooked it enough but it was a little chooey and undercooked(not so bad but you could tell). WHY, WHY3STARSMARTIN? Well, it wasn’t that nice inside it was a little rundown, and the food was either not cooked all the way or the pastrami was not good at all. The chicken was the redeeming factor for me, my friends ordered the burger and it was OK. The quality doesn’t match the price. Apollo Burgers Hmmm not the kind of food I would have on my Apollo flight into space…

$ 7.55 for the Bulgogi cheese burger. Absolutely delightful but it really didn’t need the extra hamburger patty except to be gluttonous. The bulgogi is the main spotlight and although I feel it was a tad on the sweeter marinade, its a very tasty burger and a great choice if you want to mix it up. The chicken teriyaki is nicely cooked and the meat is flavourful & juicy. I will definitely have to see if I can get a bulgogi plate next time. Or loaded bulgogi fries? Mmmm. Someone invent a secret menu!!!

To say this place is a dive would be an understatement. It’s at the edge of a small strip mall, and looks like they’ve had the same booths since the 80s. If you can get past that though, you’re in for for some tasty food. I got a burger and fries, and they were perfect. I noticed the other patrons had amazing food on the or plates. Ribs, chicken, onion rings. I want to try more!

Haven’t been back here since my college years and everything looks the same. Place still has a good crowd too! Their menu looks the same and of course prices have gone up and a couple new items. What we got: Bulgogi Cheeseburger($ 7): I was thinking it was going to be just bulgogi meat and no patty, but I was wrong! It’s a cheeseburger with added bulgogi meat. The bulgogi meat was seasoned well, soft, and juicy. Bacon Cheeseburger Combo($ 7) w/Upgrade to Onion Rings($ 3 extra): $ 3 extra to upgrade fries to onion rings seems kind of expensive and I didn’t think that worth it. Onion rings weren’t crunchy and the batter didn’t really stay on. Bacon cheeseburger wasn’t as good as I remembered it to be. Patty was a little bit on the harder side, but definitely still wasn’t able to finish it on my own though. Service: Lady taking our order was friendly and smiling. Order at the counter and seat yourself! Then wait for your number to be called and go pick it up yourself. Ketchup bottles are already at the table and they didn’t charge us for extra ranch!

Cheese Burgers: Good Bulgogi Burger: Meh Burritos: Good Gyro: Very Good Pastrami: Meh Fried Chicken: Miniscule Fries: Soggy Fried Zucchini: GREAT Fried Mushrooms: GREAT Service is fast and food is fresh. This place looks fairly unimpressive but the food is pretty good. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I’ve been happy with each visit with the exception of my fried chicken dinner order. Chicken pieces were so small, and by that I mean I received a leg the size of a wing, a thigh the size of a leg, and a breast the size of a small thigh. The wing that came in the order was so small that it wasn’t worth eating. Pretty dismal. The fries filled the box and were all soggy and limp despite ordering them extra crispy. Prices are fair and options are immense. I’m not a fan of this sort of food but once in a while it’s fun, so I’ll be returning at some point since most often than not, I’ve come out of here satisfied. Thanks, Apollo. See you next time.

The homie Lasty K. put me on game about this place. All I saw on his review was bulgogi burger and bookmarked it was. On this particular day I was super hungry as was my whole family and nobody wanted the same thing so after I bought phở for my parents and alfredo pasta for my siblings, I made my way through to here. Its located in a decently small complex. Its right at the corner. I came in and was greeted warmly by some lovely people who proceeded to take my order. One bulgogi burger please. It took longer than I had expected but finally my burger arrived. The aroma was out of this world amazing. I thought to myself if it tastes half as good as it smelled I was in for quite an experience. First bite and it was simply marvelous. The bulgogi burger is a definite hit! The meat was so juicy and mixed well with everything else. I have yet to try other stuff on the menu but based on Lasty K.‘s review everything seems on point. He’s 2 for 2 now in my books so he’s earned my foodie trust lolll. Overall, its a great mom and pop burger joint. Its kinda hidden if you don’t know the area. Its located across from Carolina’s. Check it out if you’re ever in dire need of a bombtastic burger. Won’t dissapoint I swears.

Was in the mood for a burger that was not part of the chain business. I decided to check this place out because I knew a couple of people who randomly brought up this burger joint and discussed how big the portions were and how good the food was. Stopped by after almost a year of living close by and was disappointed in myself that I did not go sooner. I ordered the standard bacon cheeseburger, and to my surprise, this place was poppin’. The burger was juicy, the fries were fat, the soda came with crushed ice(YES), and it was enough to fill me up with less than 10 bites. It is one of those local joints people grow up around and visit when they are in the mood for a good burger. Reminds me of Olympian Burger in LA by USC. Nostalgia. Anyways, 4 stars you ask? With all the business, this place need a little upgrade. For starters, the credit card charge is an eye roll since technology has advanced. Also, there is only one bench to wait for your food. If all the tables are in use, people tend to cluster around the register and that place is small to begin with. Other than that, the food is good!

There’s a reason why we got recommended to go here by the locals! This place was an older styled traditional diner type setting The meals came out quick and we’re inexpensive, massive and delicious. I got the teriyaki chicken dinner, which was grilled chicken breast, rice and salad. A bit more of a healthy option compared to some of the other delicious menu items. My brothers got triple bacon cheeseburgers which looked absolutely amazing. The meat is cooked on a grill that looks like it has been used for years, which means there’s plenty of flavour infused in everything it touches. My meal was so good I got 3 extras to go, because I’m travelling and I’d like to have some good old chicken and rice in my fridge ready to be heated up at will. Highly suggest going here with the family or a group of friends and getting some great food without hurting the wallet at all! We will definitely recommend Apollo burger to our friends back in Aus!

Bulgogi burger. $ 6.50. Big and juicy and tasty. Ate it in 2 sittings. Super casual, order at the counter. Cards only for purchases $ 10+. Love it, I’m coming back to try other things on the menu.

+ Bulgogi Burger is a game changer + Great service + Lots to choose from + One of the better mom/pop shops I come here every Sunday morning after basketball with a group of my buddies. This place has been in business for the longest time, and deservedly so. The food tastes good, from pancakes to burgers. I’ve had most of their menu, this place has not failed me yet! I have to say, if you’re coming here and want a burger, do get the bulgogi burger. You get bulgogi on TOP of a hamburger patty. GAMECHANGER. The french toast is good as well, the chicken dinner too, etc etc. Everything is good here! Food takes a bit of time to come out, but the taste makes up for it. The prices aren’t bad either, for the portion you’re getting. Oh, and this place probably has the best onion rings in town. Do come here if you’re in the area or local. Highly recommended.

The Bulgogi Burger was pretty on point with its name. Had a kbq taste to it and it was a nice massive size too. Fries were blah. Greasy and unsalted. But if you’re craving a teriyaki type burger I’d definitely recommend this spot.

Came here for a quick bite to eat. Got the bulgogi burger(which was a bit expensive at $ 8(??)) and a Bacon Cheeseburger. We got both with fries and one set with an Orange Bang(yum — it always makes me happy to see establishments that sell Orange Bang). The fries were hot and crisp, though the fat type. They wouldn’t have been good cold, but they were good hot. The burgers are really big! The bulgogi was surprisingly good — the owner looked Korean, though, so maybe that’s why. For some reason, we thought the bulgogi burger would be filled only with bulgogi, but it comes on top of a regular meat patty. I would have loved it if it came with all bulgogi and no patty since the bulgogi was delish. Ah well. The bacon cheeseburger was normal — nothing spectacular like the bulgogi burger! Order that if you go here!
