The wait is ridiculous! We were told they could get my son in at 530. We show up, Wait, wait some more, at 6:40 were told they just need to finish another person waiting ahead of us. WTH! 0 customer service!

avoid this place at all cost. they have preference on who they want to cut. I am a father of 3 boys and all four of us wanted a haircut so I thought I check it out. we signed in and waited 30 mins only to be told theres a few others before. a dude walks in and went straight for the chair vip status while the other barbers just seemed to cut over the same spot over and over again. seemed like they were avoiding us on purpose. The put in mallcop the movie and it was halfway done and still not one of my boys got a haircut so we got up and left. I don’t want to assume but were not dressed hip or cool and maybe our race played into it too but that’s cool because we found some ladies down the street that cut very good, fast and a good price so I will stick with them…

First time customer. Initial impression is the place has a chill vibe and there’s potential in talent. Watched a bit and asked for a particular guy towards the back who seem to know what he’s doing. Boss guy in the middle stuck me with someone else towards the front near the window who’s either new or didn’t care because it’s clearly the worst cut I’ve ever had with one side wedged out and the other side wedged in. Also, he mowed a trench really short horizontally across the mid back that I have to grow out since it’s impossible to fix. Nothing at all resembling the picture I pointed to. Hopefully, one worker doesn’t reflect on everyone else here and will update accordingly if next visit is better with someone more qualified.
My advice is to watch and choose your hair cutter here carefully and if you’re stuck with someone else, walk because it’s not worth the risk of getting a screwed up hair cut for three weeks.

Will never return to this place again. Marco is a great barber with a great team but he definitely lacks talent in the business aspect. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now and I’ve been screwed over a couple times in the past. Well today was the final straw. After making me wait for an hour and fifteen minutes, Marco simply said «sorry man it looks like everyone is booked for the next 3 hours. You can come back at 7 if you’d like. We can squeeze you in for an appointment at that time.» Why on gods green earth would you make someone wait for over an hour and then blow them off! It shouldn’t be that hard to find a barber shop with good barbers here in OC.

This place is thee place for a solid haircut. I don’t recommend these to the men who don’t care for quality and just like to get cheap haircuts.
But if your a man who likes a barber who is meticulous about every detail and takes his time, this is the place for you.
I recall my first visit I couldn’t believe it took close to 2 hours and cost close to $ 20 before tip. That was the moment I realize the junk haircuts I was getting before! I learned about quality and as with anything else, you get what you pay for even in a haircut. Now I look forward to sitting in that chair for over an hour and am glad to pay what it cost and tip for the outstanding haircut I receive.
I have frequented Hernan, had Tiny cut my hair once but all the barbers are on point and no matter who cuts your hair, you will not be disappointed.
Finally, sitting for a cut here is the manly mans version of getting a massage!

Walked in off the street… Couple people ahead of me so I decided to wait. Well after an hour, they tell me there were appointments and they couldn’t take me. They were more interested in checking their phones and texting than taking care of customers. Unbelievable waste of time. Learn how to run a business guys. Unilocal made me pick a star so I had to pick 1 against my will. Sad part is, it looks like there is some talent in there. Too bad…

Came in with my bro today. Had to wait about half an hour for my cut since i was a walk in. Karen cut my hair. She was a young 22 year old girl knows what shes doing. She kept good conversations. Felt very comfortable. Enjoyed my first experience. Got my very first combover. :) cut cost 15. Tipped 15 so 30 total :)

I used to take my son to a different barber that would ALWAYS leave hairs and give me attitude when I would point it out. So I tried Ambitiouz and don’t even have to 2nd think in going again. They do great with my sons hair, so far the two barbers I have dealt with are Ismael and my regular now is Marcos the owner. Definitely recommend coming here. There is a long wait for a reason and that reason is for the great job that they do.
Oh and just a heads up it’s cash only :)

Wow I used to love coming here. The last 2 times they were closed unexpectedly, and had a piece of paper on the window written in pen saying closed just for today. This time I walk on at 1245 and they turn me away because I guess everyone called out and the guy who has no one is leaving. The owner is too busy with appointments for me. I guess they don’t take their jobs seriously here. Must just be a hobby for them or only for the people they know. Saaad

Worst customer service ever! Tried going in twice to get a haircut and twice I was told that they were unable to assist me. Please post the requirements one should have to get a haircut here haha haha! Or just advertise selective barbering. Costumer service and skills are the basis to a business success. GET SOME

Honestly some can give good cuts… But they take so long to get to you! You’ll be lucky to get one of the good barbers. They only have 1 or 2 guys doing walk-​ins. The rest are always are having appointments.

Best haircut I’ve ever had! Went in about a year ago and got a haircut by Marcos and have been going back ever since that day. He’s done FoHawks to Comb overs for me and it always comes out clean. All the barbers there take their time and make sure you are 100% satisfied with your cut. Everyone that I have referred to go has loved it. Keep up the great work Ambitiouz!!!

The barbers are friendly and take their time. the environment is great. I take my son often with Marcos and I love the patience he has with him. my son is hyper and difficult at times. But He takes his time and perfects his hair cut. Love his work!

Updating my review to add pictures of where the barber cut me. It’s been a week later and my bruise has yet o go away. Quite honestly it is embarrassing to be walking around with the bruise. Please stay away from this shop. I paid well over what I would’ve paid at a reputable shop such as Goodfellaz barbershop in Stanton.

Cool spot that knows how to cut hair and are very helpful. I really liked that they have a Foosball table and they play movies but expect to be there half the day or more. Everytime I went in, there was always around 3 barbers. To make it worse, they take forever on one person. I was literally there waiting an average of 4 hours, maybe more. It was not even packed. I mean take your time but I can’t be here all day, I got things to do. I can’t imagine when it’s full. So if your not rushing on time at all, go for it. Otherwise, I’d consider another spot. I wish it was better on time because it’s not a bad place but time is money.

Amazing! I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a decent barber to cut my hair, and this place went above and beyond! I got some amazing designs done for an outstanding price. The barbers here are talented and professional, and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is the only place that knows how to cut my hair.
The atmosphere here is really nice it actually feels like a barber shop and not a salon.
I always get my hair cuts from Marcos he cuts my hair really good and takes his time every time.
Sometimes the wait is long but u can make and appointment to take care of that problem.
