Would have been nice if any one of the four sales associates asked me if i needed help while searching for a hat for 20min. They were all too busying talking about getting drunk after work. Store was empty with the exception of another gentleman shopping with his young son. He too recieved no help whats so ever after searching quite a bit for his sons correct size. Ultimately we all ended up leaving without making any purchase whats so ever. I refuse to support poorly operated and and managed businesses. After all, there is an entire mall worth of stores to choose from. Ended up buying my hats elsewhere.

They refused to sell me a lids membership by itself it an attempt to up-sell me on some extra product. They were more concerned with talking loudly about the previous night’s basketball game than in assisting customers. The older, vertically challenged employee with the dreadlocks is supposedly in charge, but he has no customer service skills if you don’t happen to be a female in tight pants. I called customer service and they informed me that I have every right to buy a lids membership by itself. I won’t be shopping at this store anymore.

My boyfriend came here to get a hat he owned embroidered. They told him the wait would be about 45 minutes. He was a little taken back that they only had one machine that sews onto the hats. He also wanted them to add a number on the side of his hat and they stated they are not able to do that. He told them that at the Yankee stadium they can do it and have the same machine. I am not sure if Lids has the authority to do that vs Yankee stadium. The staff was helpful and friendly I give this place a 3.5
