I found Beltway Builders to be very unprofessional. After being promised that an estimate was going to be created and next steps taken I never heard from them again. When I called them, I was told to track down the worker who came to my house MYSELF and ask what was going on. I reluctantly did this only to by shunned a second time. Complete waste of my time. Will NEVER do business with them.

Showed up exactly on time for my free estimate and gave me a much better price than all the others. Have been polite and easy to work with so far. Very responsive. I can reach the person in charge of my job immediately. The workers are there every single day and I can see rapid, daily progress. They originally said the job would be 4 – 6 weeks(complete over haul of condo) but now say they will be done next week, getting the job done in just two weeks! Shows what happens when workers actually show up and work hard. The condo manager also tells me how nice and polite the workers are every time I go check on their progress. They obeyed the condo rules and didn’t make a mess of their hallways and elevators. Whew!

Had a few problems with this company but the contract was rewritten to supercede a previous contract in which I was gouged on price substantially. This company made a genuine effort to make good on this job, and their customer service is excellent. Aside from initially having a dishonest sales rep(who will remain nameless), the job was done well and I can say that they sincerely care about military veterans.

My remodel was started in NOV2014. The salesman did the typical song and dance about how much they care about their customers… blah blah. Told me how they remodeled Michael Phelps bathroom and such. Work began around mid NOV with the demo being complete. He did an excellent job demo-ing but the next«worker» was completely incompetent. He attempted to re-plumb the shower and ended up flooding my downstairs bathroom. Once he figured out how to redo that mess he still has another leak somewhere. He assured me he would be back the next day to fix it and never showed up. 2 days later he comes to the house after I called and complained about the leak… what does he do to fix it??? Shoves a piece of bread in the pipe and goes home. I called the main contractor and told him I did not want the man back at my house. Enter«worker» number 2. After giving me his stellar resume for 2 hours he begins work. I will let you judge by the pictures if you think he did a good job. I would also encourage you to contact me if you would like to see the work that was completed. Here are the issues hat I have:(keep in mind this was $ 8900) 1. Exhaust fan is not centered over the hole in the ceiling. 2. Tile grout is constantly molding. Was informed that it is not sealed. 3. Prep of the walls was not completed properly. Skim coat is not done properly. 4. Grout is already cracking in places. 5. Bath spout is very loose. I’ve been informed by a plumber that the pipe was cut too long and will have to be removed. 6. Casing around the door is painted a different color(see pic) 7. Worker 2 handed me a half empty container of grout haze cleaner and said, «here you go, it should come right off». 8. Threshold will have to be reinstalled. I know people would ask, «why did you pay them, or why did you sign off on the job». My simple answer is, I’m in the Military and was deploying in December. I simply wanted the workers out of my house and wanted to be done with the company. I have since returned home and have the time to warn everyone. I would be glad to furnish pictures to anyone that would like to email me.

I remodel my undated bathroom June 2015. With beltway Builders. Mr. Jim Walker was the contract who performed the work. It was a wonderful experience from the very beginning to the end. Mr. Walker was very professional and knowledgeable of the process and products. He was wonderful. He was on time and productive everyday. He turned my out dated old style bathroom into my dream bathroom which I love going into everyday… It’s really beautiful. It was highly professional work — from the initial talks with Mr. Walker, he completed my vision to the«T», up to the completion which took him 1 week to do the work. I was amazed, one man, did all that hard work in what I thought was a short turn around time. My family loved the work. Our bathroom now looks beautiful and our guests also enjoyed using it as well. I highly recommend Mr. Jim Walker. I will definitely use him again for any future remodeling work. Thank you, The Alford Family
