It’s Your Day Event Planners

Mary is an absolute jewel. We tried to plan our wedding ourselves, and were having a very hard time finding resources within our budget that we felt would be nice. I thought of using a wedding planner, but was afraid it would be too costly. I went out on a limb anyway, and made the call to Mary Bass, who came highly recommended. She was a GOD-​SEND! Her fee was extremely reasonable, and she saved us an incredible amount and time and money on our vendors by utilizing her relationships. She spent as much time with us as we needed and was very accessible by email, phone and in person. Our wedding was perfect and everyone (especially us) had a great time. I would recommend her without reservation. She is wonderful!

My dream wedding went so smooth! Mary is awesome!!! She helped in organizing it with such love and care as if it was her own wedding. It came out as gorgeous and organized as in any good Hollywood movie. Five star to Mary and her team!

Mary was SO helpful in coordinating our wedding & wedding weekend. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was taken care of before I even knew there might be a problem (anything that I forgot/​broke/​lost etc, she had a solution) I am so grateful to have had her help; my husband and I were able to relax and ENJOY our wedding day worry free. I HIGHLY recommend her for both wedding planning AND catering (she catered our wedding & set up an amazing salsa bar too) our wedding was beach side, which can make things tricky, but she made it work. Again, highly recommend :)

Mary is AMAZING!!! It’s your day event planners handled EVERYTHING amazingly. I look back on my rehearsal and wedding day and i’m in awe of how smoothly it went! I would think of something I had forgot about and text Mary and she’d either reply with «it’s already done’ or ‘I’m doing it right now’. I’m SOOOOOO thankful for her and the way she handled my day! I HIGHLY recommend her! My day wouldn’t have been the same without her!

Before I start this review, I’d like to point out that the person who runs this business is also a relative of mine.
Now that we’ve gotten that stuff out of the way, let me stake my Unilocal reputation on the fact that I had an absolutely fantastic wedding experience largely due the fact that It’s Your Day Event Planners was able to fill in the gaps by taking care of things either A) we couldn’t or B) didn’t have time for.
In addition to that, the whole process went entirely smooth – especially on the day of the ceremony. Everything was taken care of, as far as I’m concerned. If I was thirsty, a glass of water was already in front of me. Someone forgot to contact a vendor? Taken care of.
Folks, let me just say that Mary (who runs this business) really knows what she’s doing, and I’m supremely confident that if you need a wedding planner for your day, too, she’ll treat you with the same attentiveness as she did me and my bride. I highly recommend her services.

Mary was SUCH a blessing to have at Andrea’s wedding. I was the photographer for the day. Mary prepped me with moment-​to-​moment lists of what would happen at the wedding. She knew everyone by name at the event and because I was somewhat under the weather, helped me call everyone together for family/​wedding party photos. She kept me up-​to-​date throughout the night and made sure that I was always where I needed to be. Weddings, at least from a photographers perspective, can get very stressful and very behind schedule… but NOT when you have Mary to coordinate and orchestrate. She was fantastic!

I had a wedding in Austin last weekend that Mary at It’s Your Day coordinated. Not only did she have complete responsibility for the day, but she also helped me with pre-​planning like reaching out to vendors before hand, and creating my itinerary. I was a pretty organized bride, but as the day came closer, I realized I needed help. I was referred to Mary, talked to her about the process and what she could help with and instantly I felt better. Not only did she go over all of the details that were important to me, and kept brief the ones that were less important to me, she continuously kept me updated on progress which also made me feel way better. To sum it up, I would recommend Mary to any bride needing help. She’s professional, poised, and even makes sure you’re fed and hydrated during your wedding (an invaluable skill). Thank you Mary!
