Captain’s Landing Apartments

Over priced roach motel. My fiancé and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Maintenance takes several weeks to make a repair if they even do it at all. The staff could care less about any problems with the apartments. The pool is not only disgusting but 6 months out of the year it was closed. We had pest control come every week for a month and there was not even a dent in the roach population. Pest control won’t come to your apartment if you have a pet unless you are present and when they do come make sure your put up their food an water. My dog was poisoned by their pest control company from them spraying poison in his water dish. There were two car break ins and an armed robbery which management di nothing about. The gates were constantly broken so there was no security. This place is absolutely disgusting and in my opinion completely unsafe environment.

Figured I’d supplement this with recent events to give any potential renters an idea of what it is actually like to live here.
Last night there was an armed robbery in the complex with several shots fired, resulting in police combing over the complex well after midnight looking for the perpetrators and failing to find them.
Approximately a week ago a coworker who also lives in this complex had her vehicle broken into and the gate card stolen, which the apartment complex is refusing to replace without the $ 50 replacement (extortion) fee.
After attempting to contact the management company and being ignored I finally got a response after mentioning negative reviews which proves the point that BH Management and Captain’s Landing are only interested in your money, not your health or safety.

Don’t move here unless you like two faced staff with lazy maintenance staff & over priced rent for your money.
There are two ladies in the office you should only deal with: Amanda & LaQuita (?) — the third one acts like she’s mentally retared it something. You call for something and it NEVER, EVER gets done! She pretends like she’s so insightful & caring about your needs when all she is is a just clueless secretary there just to be there!
We lived here a year and right when we got some neighbors we started having a serious roach problem.
It takes the maintenance staff anywhere from two to six monthes to fix something. No joke. Our shower knob didn’t get fixed until six monthes in but we let it slide. Now we’re just tried of it.
