This store is located on the eastern edge of Gallatin and the only real option on this side of town. This place is so different from Lowe’s as to bear little similarity. When you walk in, one of the young country girls at the cash register make eye contact and greet you in a friendly fashion. One of the old men that are wandering the store always make it a point to ask you for help or direct you to the right place. If they don’t know what you need, they’ll find someone who does. This won’t be your go to place for everything, especially high volume needs, but if I am even in doubt about whether I should go west to the Lowe’s or east to Ace, I err on the side of going to Ace. Their prices will be a little higher, but you won’t endure this mind-numbing, palm to the forehead experiences you’ll inevitably have at Lowe’s.
