Absolutely one of the best camping experiences my wife and I have had. Bathrooms were extremely clean, the sites large enough for RV and toad, and quiet. Most of all, great price. When going to Nashville, we highly recommended this state park. Short commute to the Grand Olé Opry.

Too many rules ruin this small but picturesque park. Even though park is located on the lake, NOSWIMMING is allowed anywhere, NOBIKING trails(bike on roads only and see the campsites!) NOKIDS in parking lot of camp store, NOBEER/Wine, etc. It gets hot in TN, and when you go to a lake park, you really want to swim. Shame because park is pretty and there were lots of deer that came right up to the campsite. Bathrooms were not very clean and stunk so bad you wanted to limit any time spent in there. Gag!

This«off the beaten path» campground is a wonderful place for those who want a campsite with an opportunity for launching a boat, some fishing, hiking or canoing. The hiking trails are well maintained and carry you through some pretty scenery. There is also the usual amenities of playground, decent and clean bath houses. If you want a campground where you are going to be entertained with a lot of activities, look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a nice, quiet, peaceful escape, this is the place.

They really did a good job when they remodeled this place. The sites are all plenty big and easy to get in. My kids had a blast playing on the playground and riding bikes. The trails around the place are fun and they have several different ones to choose from. The dock for fishing was great since it was just for the campground people it wasn’t overly crowded. The state really did a good job in upgrading the bath house. The showers all had good pressure and the bath house was heated and had AC and was pretty much bug free. The guy who runs the campground was as nice as could be and very helpful. I would reckomend this campground to anyone who loves camping.

Went to Bledsoe State Park yesterday. Did a 6 mile hike. It was one of the best parks I have seen in Middle Tennessee. A must go if you haven’t! The terrain was great, some hills, woodsy, open fields. It was beautiful. We walked a loop, made a few detours. Dogs loved it, only saw a few people and that was closer to the camp areas. In the woods on the trail is very private. One of the best hikes I have been on in a while. There is fishing and camping also. nice spots of water anda lake. ps-geocaching as well

Very small park. Not much here but campgrounds and playgrounds. A nice wildlife viewing platform is here, as well as a few miles of hiking trails, but nothing exceptionally worth going out of the way for.
