Better than average food, great environment, incredible views. I have a hard time being in Galena and not stopping into the Woodstone Restaurant.

There were flies everywhere. We had spicy thai wings which were good. My son ordered a burger and fries which was ok and my daughter ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich. I ordered nachos as an appetizer and they were horrendous. Like seriously how could you mess up nachos? The guacamole was not edible. The nachos were very poorly executed not something you would expect from a place like this. Everyone seemed to ignore the flies so I tried to as well but it was difficult. We had a very nice server named Keenan and he was absolutely delightful and helpful. If it were not for him I would have given this place 0 stars. Oh wait, the dessert(banana chocolate cake?) was moist and delicious. I just wonder ho sanitary the kitchen is if flies were lurking in the dining area.

Comfortable setting with a great view of The Territories. Service has improved greatly in the last year. Menu doesn’t vary much /never having any specials to offer. Can’t go wrong with Vintners Blend red wine and brick oven pizza or the ribs.

Amazing setting overlooking the golf course, especially if you can score a table on the outside patio. Service was good. Beer selection on tap was limited but reasonably priced. The silo salad was very good and our wood-fired pizza was also tasty.

Spicy Thai wings were delicious but a but steep $ 11 for 9 not very large wings. The giant pretzel was better than any other we have ever had. It was not a true dark pretzel dipped in an alkaline solution and then baked — it was actually a soft dough folded into a pretzel shape and top with salt, dried garlic, and dried onion. It was served with a mustard and with a cheese ale sauce. It felt about a dollar or a dollar fifty overpriced at $ 8. Besides mentioning that it is freshly baked on the menu, they really ought to add that it is made from scratch in the kitchen. The Screaming Eagle amber beer was perfect and nicely priced at $ 4.50 a pint. We will likely return for dinner or more appetizers.

On our last night of our stay at Eagle Ridge Resort, we really wanted to have a «nice» dinner. But we had brought our dogs along and I didn’t want to leave them alone in our rental home. Solution?! Carry out from Woodstone, the casual/niceish dining establishment right on the property. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding about us want if carryout, and they packaged our food beautifully! Husband got the garlic dipping loaf for a starter and DEVOURED it. He also got the beer-battered cod and enjoyed it. I had a wood-fired pizza that had that GREAT wood fire taste. They even boxed up a dark chocolate s’mores skillet for us, which sounds like it would not travel well, but it really did! We enjoyed it while sitting in front of the fireplace in our fabulous rental home. Next time, I’d love to actually eat inside the restaurant — and I certainly hope that«next time» is sooner rather than later.

Woodstone Restaurant(formerly Spike’s). Have been to this remodeled restaurant three times since it opened. The first visit was the best, food and service was good. The second visit was not as good with less than average service. The third visit produced a large pizza that was paper thin, almost no sauce, only six pieces of sausage on the entire pizza, and was oval not round. Service was not good. My guests were not impressed. This restaurant is loosing its consistency. It may be awhile before I try it again. Do not recommend the pizza!

Formerly Spikes. Thankfully the ribs are just as fabulous as before! Meaty, fall off the bone.
