We went into Porky’s after a long day and everyone in my group was starving. We wanted something everyone could enjoy so we chose a buffet. Choosing this place was a huge mistake. The buffet was tiny and overpriced for what they offered. The food on the buffet was of the lowest quality. While some of my party was ok with it, because they were so hungry, a couple of us decided to try our luck by ordering off the menu instead. As we sat and watched the rest of our party eat, we waited and waited. After about 35 minutes, our waitress who was also very rude, finally brought out the food we ordered, but the order was wrong. Not only was it wrong, but she tried to argue and tell me that I ordered something I would have never ordered because I can’t eat it. To top it off, the side dishes she brought were empty and when I asked why, she took the empty dishes and filled them from the buffet!!! Shortly after we left, those who are from the buffet started to get ill and were sick the rest of the night. Lucky for me, my food never came or was corrected so I didn’t actually get to eat but I did have to argue with the waitress to have my portion of the check removed, but at least I didn’t get sick like everyone else. This place is a disaster. Avoid it at all costs.

Porky’s has both an «all you can eat» buffet and a menu to order from. Portions are generous(and generously salted and oiled), service is very efficient, and prices are reasonable. This is my in-laws favorite place to eat after church on Sunday so I’ve been many times. This restaurant is a challenge for a healthy eater and I would have been worried about the observations my VERY honest children would make. For those looking for the most«bang for your buck» and instant gratification the Porky’s buffet fits the bill. Ordering from the menu demands patience because it’s not a speedy process. The salad bar is limited but workable if I pick the dark greens out of the huge bowl of iceberg lettuce.
