We love Nick and Zara at Waldin Jewlers of Lakeforest Mall. My husband and I have been customers for over six years. We have purchased very beautiful jewelry for both of us including engagement and wedding bands. And many more. We love how Nick always finds us the piece of jewelry that speaks to us. He is very good at understanding what we are looking for and helping us find it. Because Nick and Zara treat us so well, we travel from Florida to see them for all our fine jewelry needs. In fact, no trip to Maryland would be complete without a visit to Nick and Zara at Lakeforest mall. We highly recommend working with Nick because he is extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and his customer service is stellar. Thank you Nick and Zara for your service. We love seeing you when we’re in town.

HORRIBLE! I called ahead to make sure my moved battery could be replaced and they assured me they could do so. Needless to say, I made the drive and hoped for a quick fix at about $ 30. I arrive, the guy, Mathias? Mathew? grabs my movado, inspects it and attempts to force it open with some metal knife/blade. Painful to watch until he finally hands it over, slightly opened about 5% of the way to a point where any moisture would ruin it and claims it cannot be done. Basically a waste of time and for a damaged product because he also scratched it while attempting to pry it open. What an awful experience, please do not go here if you want to keep your products in the same condition upon arrival.

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from this location. The first time we visited Waldin Jewelers, we were just looking at their engagement ring selections. The sales associate was very pushy and wanted my fiancé to buy a ring right then and there. I told her we came to look at their selection and we were not going to purchase anything. He later went back and purchased a ring from them. I fell in love with it, we got engaged November of 2013. In February of 2014 a diamond fell out of my ring, I was able to find it. We took it in and they repaired it. When I got my ring back it had been damaged, the bottom of the ring was cracked and there were scratches all over it. I took it back for a second time and repairs were made to my ring. We are now in May of 2014 and the diamond has fallen out of my ring for a second time, this time I was not able to find the diamond. They replaced the diamond but it was significantly smaller than the original diamond. My ring is fully insured and has a lifetime warranty with Waldin Jewelers. Long story short we were told that because my finger is so small and the ring had to be sized it made the setting loose causing the diamonds to fall out. They have offered to custom make a brand new ring for me and have told me that it will be free of charge. However, it will take 6 – 8 weeks for my ring to be ready. I am very skeptical about this new ring when I do receive it I will be taking it to another jeweler for them to inspect it. Although Waldin Jewelers prices are very good, their workmanship isn’t. I would not recommend this company to anyone, after reading reviews about their VA location it is clear that the workmanship problem travels through their company.
