I had done some preliminary search on apartments in Gainesville FL before I began discussing with the guys at Trimark. I just got done viewing a couple of their luxury apartments near UF and have to say that I am very impressed by their customer service and the variety of options offered. If you’re looking for Gainesville apartments or houses for rent, give Trimark a chance!

After a long process involving a roommate situation, I canceled my lease and came trimark today looking for a place for fall. One of my sorority sisters recommended that I go see Mrs. Bernice. She was super helpful and took me on a couple tours and I found a studio by sorority row that I love. She helped me figure out which place would be best for my budget and showed me the webpages so I can show my parents. We have an appointment scheduled for next week when my parents are in town for my sister’s graduation to sign all the papers!

DONOTRENTFROMHERE!!! worst renting experience I’ve ever had. They don’t treat their tenants like humans. One month after we moved it, they took away our parking, put a house in our backyard(constant construction starting at 6:30am), and plan to build a multiple family home next door(more construction). Within that month they asked us if we wanted to renew. We said we needed a couple weeks to think about it with all these changes and they got a new tenant effectively kicking us out. I would rather live under a bridge than ever rent from here again. Beware.

Though their on campus dorms of Ivy House and Windsor hall look nice, the folks on the phone at Trimark Properties are incredibly condescending. When I got an on-campus single(which was exactly what I wanted) I called to cancel my tour of the place. The guy in the phone, Tyler, proceeded to laugh at me and treat me like I was stupid because I am planning on doing fall rush and living in an on campus dorm. He was extremely rude and very off-putting simply because I didn’t want to pay 750 dollars a month to live in «luxury.» I would not recommend being in contact with these people longer than necessary if you are keen on living in there properties.

TL;DRDONOTWASTEYOURTIME/MONEY/SANITY TRYINGTOWORKWITHTRIMARK. NOTWORTHITINTHESLIGHTEST. You can get a quality apartment with MANY more amenities outside of this company. If I could give Trimark zero stars based on their price, location, customer service and amenities, I would. The only good thing I can think to say is that their maintenance team is top notch. When their low-quality appliances break,(which they will often) they are always very prompt and nice. They are a money-making organization only, and have no respect for their tenants whatsoever. We chose this apartment sight unseen(Camden Court), and we’re lied to repeatedly by Bernice about the amount of undergraduate students nearby. My roommates and I have careers and would not have chosen this location if we had known of its proximity to sorority row and a ridiculously loud and obnoxious group of students across the street. I was sleeping so little due to the noise that I have gotten sick more times living here than living through 22 Upstate New York winters. They do not accept lease breaks of any kind and their prices are so outrageous that nobody would sublease. Even the parking space I lease in a nearby apartment was almost two feet under the legal width for Gainesville, and the damages to my car were well over $ 300. When approached by this, Trimark shrugged it off with another excuse. I have considered getting lawyers involved to help solve my problems but it’s not worth it when it comes to Trimark, they have dealt with every problem imaginable and have covered every possible defense you have against them. Do not even consider getting involved, unless you are an undergraduate student who can sleep through a frequently used bus stop that runs at all hours of the night right outside of your windows with 15 – 50 screaming drunk students each time it comes around. Living at Camden and dealing with Trimark has been an absolute nightmare.

This company has plenty of 2 bedrooms available, however the way they make their money is by having students(doesn’t matter of age) with no income or cosignor sign a piece of paper unknowingly and being stuck with rent for 4. Be very wary and stay away from this business. There are plenty of other apartment complexes in Gainesville. They do not run credit or income and anything that your child signs without becomes their word. So it doesn’t matter if they don’t have anything to back it up they are bound to it. This company practices disgusting business methods with zero integrity. This is just money to them and will not help you in any way possible. They could easily switch it to a 4 bedroom but their sales are in dire decline and will do whatever they can do make a dollar.

Trimark has tons of apartments and houses all over Gainesville in the area where the UF campus is. I lived at Estates at Sorority Row for a summer through a sublease and it might be the nicest apartment I ever live in. It usually books a year in advance, which is ridiculous for Gainesville… but it’s really nice. Definitely a good place to find an apartment for students. Some can be expensive but affordable options too if you’re willing to sacrifice private washer/dryer or other luxurious amenities.
