This is my first time coming out to this sushi place. The upside is the prize they have a 3 rolls for $ 10 and they have a really great fast service. The downside is the rolls are really small like bite sizes. Other than that it’s a great place to stop by and chill.

Would give 4.5 stars if I could. I’ve ordered from here multiple times and still do about once or twice a month or so. Pros: — Sushi rolls are pretty tasty, especially for the price. Don’t expect the best sushi ever but 3 rolls for 10 $ is a great deal and makes for a perfect sized meal. — Premium rolls are also pretty tasty — Consistency with rolls every time. — Gets your order correct every time — Edemame is good(average+) — Wakame salad is also good(average+) — Quick, consistent delivery — even when placing a delayed order Cons: — Dumplings are below average — Eggrolls are meh, but then again I’m not a huge eggroll fan — There is one lady that works there that barely speaks English and getting her on the phone is painful. Never had desert so can’t comment on it

I say it’s a great deal for the money. Have ordered twice from the university location. Being vegan we only order the veggie rolls and they are perfect. And the bonus, they deliver to work when I am super busy!

Great place! The kiosks make order super easy for lazy people like me and the food is super reasonable. There’s great vegetarian options here(sweet potato rolls and tofu rolls), which isn’t usually the case for sushi joints. The milk tea is a great sweet finishing touch for the meal!

Three rolls for 10 $, good price, fast delivery, friendly staff. Just need a little bit more sushi vinegar for sushi rice.

It taste like it cost, most people would say you get what you pay for, but some how they managed to make it even even worse, this is the worst sushi I have ever had. This place is really cheap for a reason. I am PRAYING that I went on a bad day or something, because this is the worst tasting sushi I have ever had. In short Sushi is cheap, but by far not the best sushi, probably closer to the worst Spend a little more and get better sushi somewhere else

Dank munchies. I like my rolls wet and dirty dripping with spicy sauce. I also enjoy sucking up their boba balls with their extra thick straw.

Checked out their new location on Tower Road. Ordered the Gator roll with miso soup. The presentation of the sushi was appetizing, but that’s about as far as it went. The ingredients just didn’t seem fresh, needed a side of spicy sauce to get it down. The miso soup was weak as well. While I appreciate the convenience of Sushi-2-Go, it’s just not tasty sushi. Steer clear.

The kid at the counter had no idea how many peices came in a roll Did not tell me before paying any sauce was extra After receiving food was handed a drink cup, i asked if i could just have 1 of the sauces(50 cents.) instead. Was told that wasnt allowed. Wouldn’t be a big deal if i had cash. But i use my card. And wasnt swiping for 50 cents. Food is bland. I guess i should have.

This place is super convenient. Ordering is done online or you can place your order when you get there on their kiosk, which is super fast and has pictures and descriptions for each roll. Their delivery is alway quick. We order it regularly on the night shift at NFRMC and the drivers are always very kind and patient. The sushi might not be the best in town but it is good and cheap. I have never had a bad roll. I suggest the sushi master or black and white roll.

It was great for its price. I don’t expect this quality from sushi restaurant which has cheap menu. Definitely, I recommend it.

Great sushi spot they have really good prices and fast service. you can get 2 rolls for $ 8 and 3 for $ 10 from a select menu so naturally i always end up with 3 rolls. The online ordering is easy and will save you time.

For a quick lunch delivered right to your desk, this is your place. Always fresh tasting and gives me my sushi fix without spending an arm and a leg.

It’s not the«best sushi» you’ll ever have but it is really good. Once you consider the pricing it’s defiantly 4 stars. Three large sushi rolls for $ 10. Can’t beat it. When I say large rolls I mean you get a good 6 pieces per roll.

If this place was priced like a regular sushi place, it would get 2 stars. Fortunately for my pocket, it isn’t! You can’t beat 3 sushi rolls for $ 10 bucks. Yes, the rice gets stuck in your throat when you swallow(yes, I said swallow), but the ingredients taste fresh and their basic rolls taste like the sushi you will find in most places. They are also quick and conveniently located by the library. I recommend their spicy tuna and Mexican roll.

If you’re new to sushi, you may be tempted to try out their chicken teriyaki roll. Although it does not contain any raw fish, it might be better if it did. While some sushi places use delicious chicken tempura, the shredded chicken at Sushi 2 Go looks and smells like cat food. Sushi beginners will be much better off ordering a Mexican Roll or a Tampa Roll, which contain tempura(fried) shrimp or tilapia, respectively. Neither of them are particularly fishy, but the Japanese mayo makes them both a little slimy, especially after a long ride in the delivery driver’s car. Vegetarians may appreciate their veggie roll, which contains avocado, asparagus, carrots, cucumbers, and scallions. I appreciated that their veggie roll contained so much variety, but I found the scallions and asparagus to be overpowering. As you can tell, it took me a long time to find something edible at Sushi 2 Go, but it was worth the wait. Their sweet potato roll is rather unique, and their addition of shiitake mushrooms adds an unexpected sweetness. At the end of the day, their rolls are 3 for $ 10 and they deliver. That’s hard to argue with no matter what point your trying to make.

Prices are good, but the sushi is not great. Whenever I come here I leave unsatisfied. Probably best to go somewhere else. Sushi usually lacks flavor.

Sushi 2 Go is pretty great. Yeah, it’s not the best sushi in town(this title goes to Sushi Matsuri), but for the price it’s awesome. 2 rolls for $ 8? 3 rolls for $ 10? I ordered 2 similar style rolls at Chopstix the other day and they were 3x as much and the quality was not any different. Yes, I do know a few people who have gotten food poisoning from here. The last time that happened was a few years ago(before the relocation). I definitely order with caution and don’t eat here all of the time(for example, I would never go here for Valentines day, like a below reviewer.). But you know what? When you’re ordering sushi for $ 3 a roll, what do you expect? Never had a bad roll, always delivered on time, always tasty. 4 stars!

Whenever I’m in town, I always stop by Sushi-2-Go. And their new location didn’t disappoint. Great deals and great prices compared to the rest of gainesville. I’ve always enjoyed the rolls and seaweed salad. I don’t get all these reviewers but ah well. Btw I Love that they stay open late too. And don’t forget to order the mochi!
