Amazing food amazing value special burrito unlimited nachos and salsa, massive drinks. My go to place for Mexican food. Fast service, friendly servers we had nachos seconds after being seated and meals came within 5 minutes. Great décor, clean restaurant with unlimited parking!

Awesome place! Food was great & our waiter was very attentive! I am VERY picky about Mexican food, in fact there is only one place I will go to for some Mexican food, until now! To bad it’s not in Nashville! If I ever come back to Gainesville you better believe I’ll be here for Lunch & Dinner!

Surprisingly good. Good prices and pleasant atmosphere. They did a great jog remodeling the place. My only suggestion to owners is to keep the salsa flowing. Charge me for it, whatever, but just let me run out. I went through two bowls, it’s good. We’ll be back to see if it remains a go to spot. I wish them luck(today is their opening day), but if they keep up the experience we had today they should be around for a while. Update: Major SNAFU. No dressing for salads. Waitress actually told me to eat it without dressing. Seriously? I told one star off, but it will be a while before I come back.

The food was pretty good, but nothing too outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the atmoshpehere is inviting and lively. Came during cinco de mayo so they had a live DJ amd few good drink specials. Awesome free jello shots and queso for today. Nice choice for west side of Gainesville!

I enjoyed our first visit to Peppers. We ordered«tacos al pastor». Waiter says it’s off-menu today but may be added soon. Not the same as the pastor tacos we enjoyed in Guadalajara but close enough. Was nice to get something different than the usual. Looking forward to trying this place again.

I SHOULDHAVESENTITBACK. Dried out chicken, raw broccoli, and crunchy rice! The dinner special; Arroz con pollo. I was attempting to be nice, I asked the waiter for some sauce to put on the dried out plate of food. He accommodated my request. I ate the dinner. The restaurant is nice, the service was great. There were nine of us at the table. Everyone was happy except for me. After the meal, when I got the check, there it was. I WASCHARGEDFOURDOLLARSANDTWENTYFIVECENTSFOR A TINYBOWLOFSAUCE! It was a couple of table spoons at the most. The price of my dinner was increased from $ 8.99 to $ 13.24. The dinner was discusting and the price was a rip off. Needless to say I do not plan to return.

Good Standard Mexican Food! It’s not crazy good, it’s not going to be awful either. When I’m lazy and don’t want to go to Archer Rd this is where we end up. The fajitas are my favorites so far although I did have a «special» the first time I came here and that also was pretty good. Red sauce beef al carbon plate. Had some spice — just not as spicy as the same kind I’m used to in AZ and TX. There they intentionally try to burn your mouth out of your mouth. Service both times was good — not slow, not super attentive. It’s a good middle of the road place sit down mexican food place.

Looking for average Mexican food? Average service? Average price? Then this is your place. Nothing stood out to me as being unique or special about this restaurant. Portions were large but unremarkable. Not bad… just average. There are too many other places to eat Mexican in town that provide better food, service, and choices to settle on this place. Try Las Margaritas for a better version of this concept, or if you want authentic Mexican make the 20 minute drive west to Cilantro Taco in Newberry.

A few visits over this last year. A few improvements, it appears they got their restroom sewage smell under control. Service has drastically declined. Food quality is still very good to good. Personally I think I like Linda Vista better that Peppers now. I like their chunkier style salsa where you can actually see the cilantro and onions. Which is much better than the salsa purée everyone else serves. This seems to have changes a little now leaning more towards a purée style. To bad it’s what differentiated them from everyone else. If service was better I would probably give 4 stars. But when you sit down, slow to greet, non existent water refills, you have to get out of your seat to get the bill, that’s bad service.
