Budgy in the pharmacy is the best pharmacist in town period. The store is big but the people who work there are pretty lackadaisical and sparse. Maybe because they have to walk so far. Don’t go on Friday after 4PM or anytime bad weather is in the forecast or you might get stampeded. The Starbucks kiosk is great! Make that your first stop. The store is clean and usually well stocked with good variety. If you don’t do self checkout, then you will expect two things:(1) a wait and(2) for some well meaning but untrained kid to put your canned peaches in the same bag with your potato chips and bug spray. Even with that, it is without question the best grocery store on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville, and arguably the best grocery store in Gainesville. Runner up is Publix on Dawsonville Highway.(The Publix on Thompson Bridge Road is clean and OK if you used to work in a submarine and like tight enclosed spaces with shelves about 4 feet apart that tower over you and you don’t care about the brand, but just need one of each without regard to your favorite brand.)

The new manager at Kroger is a liar and a crook. He had me arrested and told a bunch of lies. I would beware this store and this so called man.

BEWARE! This Kroger store has the worst customer service in the world. I stood in the express lane today for 20 minutes behind a family that did five different transactions. Switched to another express lane and waited another fifteen minutes and the cashier closed down her register right at she was ready to check me out. Spoke with Micheal Banks the store manager and he could have cared less. That will be the last time I ever step through their doors.
