Great store. If they don’t have something they will help you find where it is, especially a rare game or system. The staff are always friendly and are well-informed on trends in the gaming industry.

I’ve been going to this location for the last year, and the staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. I like that you can buy and sell used games and consoles here. I was able to pick up a really rare color Nintendo DSi console, and couldn’t have been more psyched! Also, if they don’t have the game you’re looking for, they are always willing to pull up a roster of stores that do have it in stock, and will try to get it for you.

Things have gone way downhill in the last few years. I would rather shop at the privately owned«Press Start» games in nearby Warrenton, which has much better customer service. GameStop is too corporate and too aggressive. I would definitely suggest you avoid them, unless you like being hassled, taken advantage of, or being ripped off.

I will never step foot in this game stop again. I was trying to see what I could do about my sons infinity starter set he receive in the mail as a gift. The package was not open yet. I was told it was compatible with the Wii U even though it was for the Wii. Brad was cutting open the tape as he was telling me this. I said fine because he told me the only thing they could do was except it as a trade in. So I went back home to pick up the sensor for the Wii system I was trading in and tried the Infinity on my sons Wii U. ITISNOTCOMPATIBLE!!! So when I get back to the store with sensor and the Infinity all packaged back up in the box he then tells me there was nothing he could do because it is opened. No kidding you told me it was compatible and it is not plus you are the one who cut open the tape. So I got upset as I was just lied to, then he tells me he cant even except it as a trade in, well 30 minutes earlier you could. Then when I told him I was going to write a review about this, he then states if that is how you feel I can only except this Wii as damaged because of this black mark. They tell you one thing then say something else out of the other side of their mouths. The worst experience I have EVERHAD at a Game Stop. Believe me I have been in a lot of them as my son is special needs and gaming is his thing.

Since I’m predominantly a PC gamer I tend to stick to buying my games online digitally(ie Steam) but I figured now would be a good time to see about trading in my PS3 and Xbox 360 before the new consoles are released this fall. We went to the store at around 5:30 on Sunday after seeing on the GameStop website that they closed at 7. I didn’t want to drag in a bunch of stuff for a long trade-in transaction(2 consoles, games, etc) right before they closed. I don’t like being that kind of customer. Turns out they actually close at 6. I apologized to the two guys behind the counter about coming in right before they closed with a bunch of trade-in stuff but they were really cool about it and processed my stuff quickly and efficiently. Last time I went through a big trade-in like this at another EB years ago it took over an hour but these guys were done in about 15 minutes. They also wiped my consoles while I watched which was nice.

I am a regular here and actually about to head there today to trade in some games. The service here is amazing and they people that work there are great sales people, politically correct they have a girl that works there as well. John the manager is very personable and willing to bend over backwards to help you find anything you need. His sales staff is professional and extremely helpful. Can’t wait for the next mid-night launch!

I’ve visited this GameStop several times — but I’ve never bought anything until today. It’s cool that you can buy and sell used video game systems and games here. I went in today looking for gaming accessories for my Sony PS3. I was looking for a couple of the Sony Dualshock 3 wireless controllers, plus a recharging station for the controllers, a couple of 15′ USB recharging cables(for those times when the controllers run low in the middle of a game and you can’t wait for them to recharge!), and a remote control for watching movies(I hate using the game controllers for watching movies). They don’t have much in the way of stock and selection here. I was able to buy two of the Dualshock controllers, but they were out of stock on the remote control, the longest USB cable they offered was 10′ — and they don’t carry the Nyko brand controller charger that I wanted. They do carry a Pelican brand recharging unit that looks cool — but I’m concerned that the way in which the controllers are attached to the unit, if one were to accidentally whack one of the controllers while attached to the charging station — it would either damage the mini USB port on the controller, or break the port on the recharging station. Guess I will have to order the Nyko recharger online.
