The food is very good, which is fortunate since there aren’t many(any?) other options in the area. The spinach & artichoke dip is exceptional. The burgers are thick and tasty, and the pizza is very good. They allowed our dogs on the outside deck, which has a nice view but is a bit loud due to the nearby highway. The service was good. I have been there several times and will go back when I am in the area.

The pizza is great — I get it every time I’m in Gainesville. They have outdoor seating in a quiet, rural setting. It’s a great place to just hang out and talk. The Antler still allows smoking indoors, but besides that it is a great place to eat. It also has a clean motel and a liquor store.

The best pizza in Gainesville Missouri. The artichoke dip is excellent. Lots of deers mounted on the walls and other various animals. Great local experience and very nice and friendly service.

Their burgers were a favorite of my Mom till she passed. My only objection is they came with chips and not fries. Like the option of sitting on the outside deck. They do get local bar sitters, but not a problem. Probably the best burger in town.
