I received excellent service from every very knowledgeable staff member. Everyone was very helpful and patiently explained the different options to me since I was shopping for my son who plays guitar(but I don’t). The associate who rang my purchases out even went so far as to find me at my car because I was entitled to a free shirt with my purchase but did not initially receive it. He could have figured«oh well», but no, he found me so that I could get that shirt too — which my son will love. Their prices are always better too than the larger stores.

While I had no hesitation in giving the Bethel Road location of this popular used instrument chain a glowing review and a 5 star rating, the decision regarding their little brother on the east side was far more difficult. The staff here is without a doubt much cooler and knowledgeable of the bands whose sounds I’m interested in replicating, but other than that this store definitely plays second fiddle to the Bethel location. The sales floor is only about half the size, and it’s rare to find the guitar wall stocked with anything but a bevy of cheap Japanese knockoff guitars and crappy solid state amps from the 80’s that have without a doubt seen better days. I’ve run across a few rare treasures here, such as a Gibson Echoplex loop pedal that once belonged to former Slint founder Dave Pajo, a Roland Jazz Chorus amp, and a handful of quirky DOD pedals, but other than that the general selection here is rarely interesting. You’re better off calling in any specific queries than driving out here to browse, as the selection just isn’t up to snuff. Stick with the one on Bethel.
