Creekside Conference & Event Center

The Creekside Conference & Event Center could not have been a more perfect place to host our son’s wedding. With only 7 months from his wedding proposal on Valentine’s Day in Nairobi, Kenya to the wedding this past Saturday, the planning and execution could not have been made easier or more enjoyable. Everything single detail requested was done seemingly effortlessly. The outside wedding was lovely with the wooded background, fountains and waterfalls. Seamlessly, guests were ushered upstairs after the ceremony to the reception cocktail area with beautiful seating, fireplace, two bars, appetizer stations, and coffee/​tea and water station, as well. The wedding planner, Karlie Halverson, was spot on with everything, including a handicapped reserved space for my aunt, and she and her family were served their meal first at their table from the buffet line. The children were served next at their kid’s table, which their parents all appreciated not having to negotiate the buffet line with little ones. We were happily surprised that the dinner menu tasted even better than at the «tasting», was kept warm, and everyone said it was the most delicious meal they ever had at a large wedding. We would not change a single thing about the setting or incredible service we were shown at Creekside. HIGHLY RECOMMEND as a wedding venue.

We held my brother’s wedding here this past weekend and EVERYTHING was perfect. The staff was excellent, especially our event coordinator Karlie — she was so calm and professional and willing to do anything to help. We had several specific requests that they accommodated easily and happily, such as reserving a handicapped parking spot for one of our guests. The entire planning experience went smoothly and the execution was flawless. The outdoor ceremony on the stage was beautifully set up, and it wasn’t an issue at all that Cantina restaurant next door had its doors open and customers sitting outside.
Also, the food at Creekside was delicious! Several guests made a point to tell me. We used the buffet line, and everything was nicely presented and hot.

I recently attended a wedding at this venue, not my favorite spot. The room was so chopped up that we couldn’t see the bridal table from our seats. The dinner was plated and came out in shifts based on what your food selection was, I got the chicken which came out first and I was done eating by the time my wife got her beef. The appetizers were served by waiters carrying them around if you could find them. Parking was via an underground garage which was very confusing you had to drive past the venue to enter the garage. On the bright side the venue was right on the river and had nice a view during the daytime but that was little consolation with all the other shortcomings of the night.

Great conference center. Visited here for a work event. It is located in Creekside with parking below and dining places all around.
The conference center is on the 3^rd floor overlooking creekside. It is elegantly decorated and the layout was perfect. We heard a speaker which had access to a large projector screen that was nestled on a beautiful dark curtain that kept the sun light from causing a glare. We were able to sit in a conference room with plenty of windows and light and still view the presentation on the projector screen and not in a creepy half dim room that other conference rooms might provide.
Let me not forget to tell you about the catering. They had a nice cheese and fruit spread, appetizers such as crabcakes, mushrooms, etc. They also had sandwiches and wraps. It was durning lunch might I quickly add. I bet a dinner spread would be quality too.

I came here for a work party. This place is located in the middle of a shopping area, which seemed strange to me. It was dark so I can’t vouch for the exterior appearance.
After parking in the garage, we were directed by multiple staff to an elevator to the event center. Very nice b/​c otherwise I would’ve gotten very very lost.
The event center was really beautiful. I immediately thought how it would be perfect for a wedding. There are a few lounge areas, one in front of a fireplace. There’s a dance floor, a large dining area that I noticed could be partitioned into smaller rooms. There were multiple bars scattered about to.
Had a great time. Staff was excellent!
