The Big«E» is a large Entertainment complex located in Gaffney. I first heard of their children’s summer movie program from other parents. During the summer, Monday through Saturday, they offer a movie at 9:30AM for only $ 1. The movies in the program are popular second run kids and family movies. Popcorn and soft drinks at these showings costs $ 2. There’s much more to this place though. Big«E» has a first run movie theatre, a bowling alley, laser tag, bumper cars and a play land. The dollars you spend can add up quickly, so pick and choose what you plan on doing. Their bowling prices seemed high. The play land alone, per child was $ 4.50. My kids thought this place was awesome because everything was under one roof. Chuck E Cheese on steroids plus movie theater.

Considering carmike cinema in Shelby is 12 bucks per person to see a movie during matinée no thanks look elsewhere. This little gem is awesome in my opinion. 6 dollars for movie and I have 3 kids above the child discount so I was pleased. My gentleman helper at the counter I wish I would have gotten his name was so pleasant. Little lady taking our tickets was super nice as well. Seats here are awesome I love to rock!!! Drive out of your comfort zone you’ll be amazed at what you find :)

It’s a nice place to go take your kids after shopping at the outlets, I suppose. It has movie theaters, bowling, an arcade, bumper cars and now laser tag! I will have to try out the laser tag one day. The arcade games run of cards that you swipe. About 92% of the games here are ticket redemption games, and there is only a few video arcade games… The new Transformers’ «Human Alliance» game from Sega(which wasn’t working), ‘Dead Heat Riders’ from Namco, and ‘Super Cars’ from Raw Thrills’. The rest of it is ticket redemption games, and a couple of prize games like ‘Key Master’ and ‘Barber Cut Lite’ that have gift cards and Beats headphones. If you hardcore arcade fans like pinball, shooting games, fighting games and rhythm games(DDR), this is not the place for you. The variety of games in the arcade is pretty disappointing. It’s good for little ones, but I would rather travel down 50 minutes or so to Greenville to Dave & Buster’s or Frankie’s even.
