The fish is really fresh and the portions are good sized. It’s cool that they have a sauce bar so you can try the different sauces that they have. It all taste really good. We had an option of free pastry or cheese biscuit. Avocado, crab meat, and seaweed salad is included if you don’t ask for extra which is really nice too.

wow. i’ve been to a lot of poke places and this place takes the cake for sure. how often do you see a place with a sauce bar, and how often do you see a poke place with a full service sauce bar? if you love sauce as much as i do, you will love this place. first, the food was delicious and fresh tasting. we got the large bowl, and it was roughly 10 bucks. it comes with 5 different scoops of fish along with your choice of toppings. other places will charge for seaweed salad, but this place includes it for free. now to the grand finale, the sauce bar located by the cashier. i love the idea of letting us put as much sauce as we want without anyone judging… thank you poke co. i also like the fact that they have unlimited gingers for us as well. they even sweeten the deal by giving us free cheese bread and dessert. i’ll be back for sure, if i’m in the area.

Great customer service! Jin K., Steven, and Gilbert were very patient and accommodating. My craving needed to be satisfied so I rushed to Poke Co. and got there seconds before they closed. Instead of being rude and mean about us getting there right at closing, they were very nice and patient with us(: This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time, thank you so much! Currently eating it right now and it tastes great(:

Out of the 10 poke places I’ve been to, this place has got to be one of the best! The dining area is spacious with full AC on blast. Glad to know that my fish isn’t being served in a suboptimal temperature. I also got a free chocolate biscotti with my poke bowl! 3 Reasons why The Poke Co is bombdotcom: 1) Ample servings of fresh fish: Unlike pokinometry, where I’ll still be starving after eating a small/medium bowl and paying a pretty premium, my hunger is satisfied after a regular size bowl at poke co. 2) Wide range of interesting sauces to choose from: In addition to the sauce they mix the poke with, there’s a sauce bar on the side next to the soft drink machine. So you don’t have to feel the commitment to stick to one sauce throughout your meal! 3) Oodles of toppings: I remember there being no additional charge for the seaweed salad! Which is awesome.

There’s so many make-your-own poke places opening left to right that most have begun to taste the same. Most aren’t comparable to the poke I’ve had in Hawaii. Same concept as most make-your-own poke. The winner for me is the sauce bar because they don’t drench your poke in sauces. They give you enough that if you like it saucy, you can add more on your own terms. I had mines with their«ThePokeCo» dressing, ponzu and sesame oil. I usually like spicy mayo and some places make their spicy mayo super spicy that I can barely enjoy the fish. I’m a weak sauce(cannot handle the heat). They serve a mild spicy mayo and a spicier spicy mayo. I obviously opt for the mild one and it was great! I drizzled it on half my poke bowl and drizzled the other half with their Hawaiian Island sauce which was different and tasty too! The service was great! They’re helpful and allow you to sample the sauce before putting it in your bowl. You also get a complimentary pastry! I got the white chocolate macadamia cookie(they give half a cookie), which was tasty and crunchy! They had other stuff too like cheddar biscuits, cream puffs, etc.

Just had my first experience of Poké Bowl Co. I say experience, because this is so much more than just ordering a Bowl. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the fish is extremely fresh, and everything looks amazing. They even have a Sauce Bar, so you can get all the sauces on the side or just add whatever amount suits you. This place is a phenomenal value and satisfied my need-to-eat-sushi-asap cravings. The Pokecho Furious sauce is pretty hot, but so delicious. If you’re not afraid of heat, I highly recommend trying it. They offered my boyfriend and I a complimentary pastry, which was unexpected and appreciated. They were tasty, too! This is a new gem of Downtown Fullerton and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Yet another option in the bloated customizable Poke genre. DTF’s newest restaurant offers Poke specialties featuring a variety of base options, toppings, sauces and seafood for you to create the bowl of your choosing. The bright and clean interior matches their staff’s eager to please attitude plus The Poke Co. easily wins for value in it’s segment — a massive«large» sized bowl with 5 options in protein can be had under $ 10.00. Another way the Poke Co. defines itself from the rest of the assembly line Poke pack is with their«Sauce Bar» that allows you to add or mix sauces and condiments at will to create any flavor combination you can imagine. Needless to say, this should be a hit wit the CSUF lunch set. The salads, rice, and toppings were all of high quality but I will admit that the seafood wasn’t the freshest on the scene(particularly the Yellowtail) and perhaps that has something to do with how The Poke Co. is able to undercut the competition by as much as $ 6.00 in some cases. This criticism is hardly a deal killer — I finished my Poke bow in record time — but a matter worth bearing in mind if you find yourself weighing options with all of the countless Poke purveyors. Great portions, countless customization and at a price point that cannot be beat pretty much sums up my visit to The Poke Co. and if you find yourself in Downtown Fullerton with those familiar pangs of hunger, these guys deserve your attention.

This place is so great. 5 stars because 5 positive parts of this place. 1. Great food: fish is so fresh and their sauces all well together. I got the Poke Co sauce with spicy mayo and DAMNMA omg. Their spring mix is great LOL everything is great holy. I got half brown rice, half spring mix. 2. Customer service: Their employees actually talk to you. I came with a friend who had recommended to try this place and they made us feel welcomed. Whenever I asked questions they weren’t awkward or annoyed and tried their best to help me. 3. THEYHAVE A SAUCEBAR. No more worrying about asked for light sauce or more sauce, take care of all your saucy needs by yourself! 4. There Menu: so clear and direct, it wasn’t hard to read or confusing and on the glass they have descriptions of their sauces. it’s pretty helpful. 5. Why do I need another reason LOL this place is soo good! I was looking for a place to compare to Pokinometry do I’ve tried Low key poke, Poke Haus, Poke Star, Poke Island, almost every where by HB. But this place I’d drive for whenever I’m craving because it’s seriously the best I’ve ever had

I’ve loved Poke Co each time I have been(for a frame of reference, it has only been two times)… great quality, fresh ingredients, quick… all the makings for a fantastic meal. What makes The Poke Co 5 star in my book is the accessibility of the sauce bar, yes you heard me right. Long after you tell the cashier what sauce you want with your poke, if you decide that you want to mix it up mid meal, you can with the sauce bar. All of the sauces that are behind the counter are just out in plain sight for you to mix and match to your heart’s content. I love customization and I love options! These are notes to myself but it isn’t worth getting this to go – the heat from the rice makes things not taste so fresh, and there’s no need to add pineapple to your poke, it’ll just unnecessarily mask the good flavor of the fish(and people, I love pineapple). I’ll be back for sure!

Food ====== $ 9.49 Regular Bowl The fish is fresh and clean. They also have no problem with mixing sauces and also have their sauce bar in case you wanted to really flavor that fish. They also have a crazy amount of seasonings lined up(lava salt!?!) Overall, very accommodating. There are only two downsides:(1) the way the bowl is shaped/stacked makes it hard to get to all the deliciousness layered in there.(2) the spicy sauces really don’t pack that much of a kick. Décor ====== Bright, clean space. Booths made of hard plastic, but still comfortable enough for all that. Service ====== Amazing! The servers are young and friendly. They accommodate your requests with a cheerful smile, and they chat with you with if you’re on the same side of the counter. This is what really knocked it up to 5 stars for me. Extra! ======= — Complimentary Cheddar Biscuit or Sweet Flaky Pastry — Strawberry-mint-cucumber flavored water(self-serve)

I really like how when you pay for a large(large was $ 10.95 and regular was $ 8.95), not only do you get 5 scoops instead of 3, but the actual bowl size is also larger… unlike some other Poki stores. In addition, the server was very kind and asked if our base of either white rice/brown rice/salad/chips/mix amount was enough for us before moving on to the fish. Also, for the price compared to other Poki stores, the food was larger in quantity and comes with a baked pastry(we had the choice of a cheese bun or croissant puff). Extra sauce in the back if you want more. I really liked my combination of mildly spicy mayo with Ponzu sauce. I cannot say that the fish/flavors were any better than other Poke stores. But I will say that The Poke Co has larger portions for the price compared to other stores along with a free dessert. PLEASE eat here because I want this place to stay in business. I will be back for more!

My co-worker ate here a few weekends ago and wanted me to try it so we went for lunch on Monday. Same set up as the million other poke places that have popped up on every single corner. Pick a size, pick a base, pick the fish, pick the toppings, pick a sauce, consume. Choices Base: white rice, brown rice, spring mix salad, or chips. Next layer: avocado, crab meat, onion, pickled radish, beet, and cucumber. Fish: spicy tuna, tuna, octopus, shrimp. yellowtail, salmon, albacore, and scallop. Toppings: green onion, ginger, wasabi, seaweed salad, masago, white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, sesame oil, and a dried nori mix. Sauces: «The Poke Co Sauce», spicy mayo, miso, ponzu, «Hawaiian Island», and gochujang. I went with the gut busting large size which comes with 5 scoops of fish and comes in pretty much a KFC bucket. For my base I went with white rice topped with avocado, crab, radish, and cucumber topped with spicy tuna, tuna, and shrimp topped with green onion, ginger, wasabi, seaweed salad, didn’t discriminate and went with both black and white sesame seeds, and finally topped with«Poke Co Sauce» and spicy mayo. The sauce had no spaces so it looked like pokecosauce. My brain didn’t process this so I said«I’ll take the pookeecoo sauce». Guy looked at me oddly then it processed and I said it right. It’s basically a soy sauce based sauce. You also get a free sweet or savory pastry which is from the pastry shop next door. Nice surprise. I went with a savory cheddar and scallion biscuit which was tasty. If you find out you need even more sauces and toppings they have a self serve station with all sorts of stuff. I got some stuff that looked like togarashi and sprinkled that on the bowl and drizzled with some gochujang. Wasn’t as good as Pokinometry but it was a great bowl. Fish tasted very fresh and all the toppings and sauces piled into my giant bucket paired up great with it. It was also very spicy and left a lingering burn. Since I had a few things in there labeled«spicy» not sure which was the culprit but I’m assuming it was their spicy mayo or the gochujang. Next visit I’ll go with the regular size which is 3 scoops. Large was HUGE.

I love how these poke places keep popping up and every time one does, they seem to do better than the last one. The Poke Co, was so shortage of spectacular, as they bring on a combination of quality, customer service and ambience in a nicely bundled package. With poke places you really need to examine the quality of fish. You aren’t going to get top shelf, high quality, but if you get can something better than last week’s frozen fish, then you’re in good hands. I like how the parking lot is conveniently next to the restaurant, especially in downtown Fullerton, its usually a foot race to get in line after you parked a half a mile away. The inside is clean, lots of natural lighting, too hip to be a simple poke restaurant. I have to say, I like this particular location for a lot of reasons. They did everything well, a good combination and serving sizes. I can’t find anything to say needs much improvement.

I like this place, but it’s not my favorite. First off, the space is very clean and the workers are friendly. Everyone’s pretty new since this place just opened up so they were slow during the order, but that’s okay. We came in 5 mins before closing so the guy packed my bowl with fish and toppings, and gave me BOTH a cheese biscuit and a chocolate chip cookie. WIN. I like that they have a condiment station where you can put whatever sauces and spices you want on your bowl, unlimited. The regular sized bowl is pretty large, but there’s also a bunch of toppings inside like seaweed and radish to fill it up. The owner of this place also owns Choux Crème next door and they’re connected in the back. For every poki bowl you purchase, you get a free mini cream puff at Choux Crème. You could also just check in on Unilocal and get the same deal without having to make a purchase, though.

Unilocal challenge 2016(33⁄100) Another poke place in Fullerton! I honestly didn’t know about this place. I was originally going to Choux Crème next door, but I didn’t eat dinner so I thought I’d try this place before getting dessert. It’s pretty much a create your own bowl, choosing the base, fish(3 scoops for reg, 5 for large), toppings, and sauce. Similar to all the other poke places popping up. I liked the Poke Co sauce with a drizzle of the green Hawaiian sauce. I really like the full bar of extra sauces and spices. I thought it was a just little overpriced. I’ve had cheaper poke bowls, but it does fill you up. The fish quality was pretty good. It’s located on Commonwealth(a big street). I think I got really lucky with parking at the time I went! I’ve been to a whole lot of poke places and I do like this one! I might be back soon :)

Very very clean. The picture of the fish almost looked like there wasn’t even a screen glass in-between. Unfortunately, no albacore :(, but they do have a condiments bar at your disposal. *right now, you get a free crème puff from the place next store with every order **free cheddar biscuit? I don’t know how it fits with poke, but hey its free. ***check in for 10% off ***IMPORTANT: they have a mixing bowl with a lid to shake up the fish and sauce instead of the employee caressing your fish Service: — Excellent service. I like how they have name tags, makes it a little more personable. Amir was great Food: 3 scoops — $ 8.95 5 scoops — $ 10.95 Extra scoop — $ 1.00 — I am a fan. Unfortunately, they ran out of avocado at the time… How do you run out of avocado? But he hooked it up with two scoops of crab meat. Really enjoyed the fresh fish and tasty sauce. Overall: I would definitely come back. Hopefully, next time they don’t run out of avocado hahah. Might be a solid competitor from other poke joints

Came here for lunch today. Very good food and very high quality taste and freshness. Got the large bowl and all the things I got inside did not disappoint. I really like how they have a sauce station and a selection of bottled drinks in the back. They have Pokinometry beat here. However the portions for the accessories are small. 2 pieces of avocado for a large bowl. Really? Plus I wanted to give my seaweed salad to my wife. But the young lady at the front said«nope!» Lol. I was like its cool. I’ll just take the seaweed salad and scoop it from my bowl to my wife’s bowl. No biggie. But dang if I could afford it I would eat here everyday! Good clean healthy food. Purest protein if you want them gains. But at $ 11.00 a pop for a large bowl be ready to spend some money. Me and wife love this place. Clean eating area too!

I really felt welcomed when I came through the door. I wish I got the girls name but she definitely made a great impression for the company. This company is also partnered with Crème Choux next door. I had an overall great experience. PROS — 1. Welcoming, everyone was nice, however I think there were still some people in training because it didn’t look like some people knew what they were doing or it took them too long to process something. But hey we’re all learners 2. Clean — I feel safe coming here knowing my food is being kept safely in containers and not just brown around all over the place like some places 3. Good portion. 4. Received this bread with the order for free 5. Show next door your receipt and they’ll give you a free Crème puff CONS — 1. The taste was just okay. Nothing special or memorable but still good no doubt 2. The bread we received was cold but hey it was free so you can’t complain 3. Parking isn’t the best and this place could easily be missed

With the 10% off, free cheddar biscuit, and free cream puffs from Choux Crème, the experience at The Poke Co was not too bad. I love me some discount and free food. All the«extras» aside, the sauce, portion and service were not satisfactory. I opted for«The Poke Co» sauce which tasted just like soy sauce. My bowl turned out too salty since they drizzled the sauce over the base and also shaked it with the poke. The sauce bar on the side was a good addition and allowed me to sample other sauces. The spicy mayo is a much better choice over the poke co. They gave a good amount of rice and toppings in contrast with the amount of poke. The few pieces of poke were lost in the midst of all the toppings and rice, and I had way more rice leftover with no poke to be found. Service could be more consistent and thorough from how much rice to serve to the offering of toppings. My server skipped the last part if I had not reminded her.

After our experience with The Poke Co from the following week my boyfriend and I had decided to come back for lunch because I work in the area but we were fairly surprised. They definitely had some roadbumps during this lunch rush. Inconsistency can be a confusing thing for customers and they really need to get their operation under control. I revisited in less than a week and my review of this place has significantly changed and I feel a little betrayed because I had recommended this place to some people. The first speed bump was how slowly they were running the line. There were only about 5 people in line so I can’t even imagine how bad it would be if they had a lot more people. Secondly they had run out of fish! They were out of salmon and were only letting customers get one scoop of yellowtail. When we got to the sauce portion of our order they were a mess! They had miss placed the ponzu sauce because they handed it off to another customer i guess? I don’t know. And they forgot to add some of the toppings I had asked for. I get this place is new but they need to better train their employees.
