I am never dissapointed here, always fully stocked, fresh food and friendly people. They have a lot of vegetarian options which is great since a lot of their clientele is vegetatian, myself included. Their fast and efficient and very clean

Always come here at least once a month. After finished, always regret because I was really full. I love their soups and dessert! For the price you pay, the food is really fresh! I love their clam chowder soup, mac and cheese, the pizza gosh!, and the salad of course. The pizza is so soft. And after all that, the soft served ice cream on top of whatever they have for cake dessert. Oh, there was one time they have avocado ranch dressing, AMAZING! This place can get pretty busy at 6.30−7.30PM.

Giving 1 lousy ass star review because of the uncleanliness at the salad bar!!! Gross!!! Food is all over the counter, tongs are sticky, dressing dripped all over the counter etc!!! I understand they’re busy & might be short staff, but come on presentation is important! And I thought the one I usually go to in puente hills was nasty! Ah I take that back! Seriously majority of SP seems to not care about cleanliness, but yet they try to be all sophisticated by using glass plates & glass cups when they need to work on cleaning up the counters, floors etc!! Blah utterly disappointed!

Love this place as always! I can always count on this place for me to be healthy and still eat a lot! you can’t go wrong. Well… if you hit up that bread bar too much, it quickly turns to carbocide. Otherwise I love souplantation.

Just your average Souplantation. It was clean and the variety was nice. Felt a bit loud, but we went right at dinner time. I’ll definitely return, because I love going to salad bars ;)

This used to be our family go to place for lunch on summer days, but lately they have gotten really bad. I have to dig through their dishes to find a clean one and the food quality has dropped off drastically. Never again…

Love souplantation. Love the fresh salad, love the deep kettle chili, love the bread. Wish they had a little more to offer but I will always come back! :)

The service and quality of food at this Souplantation is pretty much standard compared to any other location in Southern California. The exception, in terms of food, was that I did not see any sprinkles or ice cream cones for dessert. So why such the low rating? ANTS! It may be a bit hard to see on my pictures, due to the low pixel quality of my phone, but there were ants all over the bathroom sink in the men’s bathroom. Made my stomach turn after all those carbs.

Came here with my mother. You can never go wrong with souplantation. It’s so good. I always get the chicken noodle soup. It’s dank. And the corn breads bomb as f.

Soups are excellent, love the clam chowder and chile. There are spoons, I guess they were out before. But good chill place.

I’m really torn with this location of Souplantation. It is very hit and miss. I have dined here at least 10x and each time, it is like dining somewhere new because the service is either stellar, good, or it sucks. Last night the restaurant was overflowing with people, yet EVERYTHING was beyond good. The only«hiccup» during the night was the soup station running out out soup spoons and we had to go to the cash register for soup spoons. I’ve gone on nights where there were hardly any patrons and the food was gross. The soups were nearly empty or watered down. The drink station looked like a tornado hit it, and the salad was brown and wilted. There is truly no rhyme or reason to how this place operates. It is a mystery. All I can say is that when they are«on,» they are«on» and everything is great. Otherwise, if you go on an «off» night it makes you never want to go again.

Come here occasionally. not the norm for souplantation. Dried up soups, sloppy presentation. Cmon how hard is this. Labeling is wrong on soups. Presentation is everything and its not the first time.

I am a big fan of this place but I am so disappointed in the management here. There is a short woman who ruined my experience here tonight. I understand you have to coach your employees but you never ever do it as publicly as this woman did. The young man that preps the food at the bar was simply doing his job and this woman” manager” yelled at him in front of everyone! That is completely unprofessional and just rude! How dare you lady! You deserve to be in the back kitchen where no one sees the way you truly act. Again, nothing against souplantation but this woman needs to be written up or something. I honestly feel so embarrassed for the young man.

No spoons!!! I know«spoon» is not in the name but one would expect spoons at a «soup» and salad place… No spoon anywhere, not by the cashier, not by the soups, and not even small spoons by the soft serve machine. Everywhere I turn, I hear people going«no spoon?!» This is the most unorganized and messiest Souplantation around. The short stubby hostess is rude and inefficient, telling customers to go wait by tables to be cleaned and not sending anyone to clean it. You want to eat here? Clean your own table and bring your own spoon. Watch your step near the soup area because the floor is wet. Enjoy!

No spoons to be found anywhere for past 5 minutes. No labels for three colorful drinks at the fountain. People waiting, no one is cleaning the tables. A fail, especially compare to Brea location.

I like to come here when I’m in the mood for some salad and soup! All the food is fresh and I have no complaints about this location. My favorite soup is the Albondigas(Mexican meatball) soup which is seasonal. Search for coupons and save a couple bucks before coming here because there are always some available online!

I decided to go for their breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning. I wish the restaurant served breakfast on Saturdays instead, so I don’t have to miss church. Expect to spend over $ 10 when you include a beverage. I always use their coupon to save a couple of dollars. I liked that they had a wide variety of hot items including sunrise pasta, cinnamon buns, French toast, oatmeal and baked apples. The Belgian waffles would taste better if they were more toasted than wiggly soft. I would’ve liked the eggs if they were actually scrambled instead of looking chunky. I was glad to see that their salad bar was open; it allowed me to kickstart my day with some veggies. Overall, I enjoyed my first meal of the day. As for their addition of round tables, I can’t say that I’m a fan of it. It’s now harder to get to the kitchen area and back to your table In a straight line. It presents a challenge when you’re carrying hot food and watching who is seated in your pathway. I wish their serving trays weren’t wet either; mine got my napkins wet. Otherwise, I think management has been doing a good job with the new décor and improved dining ware.

My friend Thai L had just gotten his braces so we figure SOUP would be a suitable meal that he can eat without too much struggle. And it was good for me cause I could be relatively healthy enough here. We both usually love Souplantation, but this experience was without a doubt the worse Souplantation I have ever been to. I am pretty sure they are understaffed because there was a shortage of plates, bowls and utensils… and the ones that were available were DIRTY! It was pretty ridiculous that I stood there looking through 4 – 5 plates before I can find ONE clean one. The same problem reoccurs with the soup bowls. And for all I know, that is just surface clean. So basically… I had to wipe down all of the utensils I grabbed before I used it. To make it worse, the staff who was working there that Sunday seemed extremely irritable and amazingly unhelpful. Thai L and I both found it impossible to enjoy our meal… and I felt pretty sick after… Definitely not coming back to this location.

I am not even done eating here, but already wring a review as I am eating because I am so mad. I don’t even know what goes into my mouth right now. So, when my hubby was about to pay, I grabbed a seat and very short, well built female host came to me saying I can’t hold a seat. I guess I didn’t notice the sign«wait to be seated». But my hubby was already a few steps behind my seat, if this is the case, can you just inform me about the temporary peak time seating policy and let me just have my meal? Isn’t this commonsense? Instead, she tried to fight with me saying, I asked to other people who were before me, so I told her«those people? They weren’t before me, you are lying!», but she stll sent me back to where we pay, and escorted us back to the same table… Is she training me? I am her naughty puppy? There’s no customer, hostess relationship, there’s only a bossy hostess and a bunch of hungry puppies. It seemed like in her mind, there is no «service» but she just loves to boss around. I guess she does her job proudly but not in a wise way. Any comments about food? We all know souplantation is nothing better than a school cafeteria. They lured you by sending a flyer with a new menu item, but from the beginning, the new item was empty. I went back a while later hoping it’s refilled, but no. So I asked the tender to make some, she said, it was all out. She told me cole slaw is pretty much same, but I don’t think so. No broccoli, raisin, cashews, bacon and sweet tangy whatever sauce, none of these is in the slaw, what is similar to what? I didn’t expect her to make her one portion if it was near closing time, because that’s too fancy service to expect. My nice school cafeteria ladies had done it tho. The worst part is, they all have those ingredients, but she just said«we are all out of broccoli, bacon bits, cashews, and raisins.»…at here, Souplantation!!! Despite the gross mushy, browned, wet, moldy green leaves at the salad bar, worst quality service and the salad bar tender’s laziness is more than enough for me to never come back here. I should have just grabbed a few In N Out.

When we feel like eating light or one of us feels under the weather, we crave Souplantation. Couponing here doesn’t knock much off of the price per person, but that’s okay – we aren’t regulars. At 4pm exactly on the Friday before Christmas, there was no line. We were the only ones grabbing trays, plates and utensils as others followed 5 – 10 mins after. The place had customers already dining, so it was nice not to have to wait, to get food. Salad choices were fresh and abundant. Soups were filled to the brim and muffins were wonderfully warm and well stocked. Pastas were perpetually replenished. And they have a fair collection of coffees, teas, sodas and juices. Love their strawberry lemonade. The staff here does a good job of bussing tables, cleaning food stations and bringing out more food. Not sure how this location is when it is busy, but since I didn’t have to be elbow to elbow with people when making my plates, my episode here was satisfying.
