I’m an adult who used to skateboard as a kid and it’s been decades since I tried. So recently I got the itch to return to an old hobby. I thought that it would also make my usual walk to the postal box more fun as well. I dropped by the store and, wow, what a selection. I didn’t realize skateboarding had gotten so complicated. Fortunately, the guys there were very helpful in explaining the difference between various kinds of trucks, bearings, wheels and decks. Friendly staff and equally friendly prices. They have a nice website as well for those who can’t come to the store but the selection of skateboards is still being ramped up, it seems. I’m still not an expert on skateboards but I thought I’d recommend the store.

Solid shop right off commonwealth and brookhurst. Pretty big shop too. Lots of boards to choose from and huge apparel and shoe selection as well. They’ll get Ya set up for a good price too

$ 4 for one bar of surf wax??? Good Luck! Won’t be back. UPDATE! The owner has since commented. I found that Sticky Bumps sells the exact wax for $ 1.95 a bar on their website whereas Origins sells it for $ 4.00 in their shop. So his MSRP line is crap. Surf wax should never be more than $ 1.00 to $ 1.50 at most for specialty waxes, Bottom Line.
