The food here is usually great! It’s a cute little café and the environment is friendly, sometimes. Today we went there for brunch and I ordered a steak sandwich. I love steak sandwiches but I also hate large chunks of fat in my meat. Guess what I got? Weirdly sliced steak with a chunk of fat on the end of every single piece. But that alone wasn’t enough for me to get angry enough to post this. What made me angry was how slow and rude our server Jessica was. I wanted to replace my order with a chicken wrap and maybe order pancakes as well. She didn’t check up on us at all, and when I was finally able to wave her down after my friend was done eating she still didn’t ask if we were ok, she just said«to go boxes?» I said one. She came back and when I told her I did not like the sandwich, as politely as I could, she grabbed it and walked away before I could even finish my sentence. She came back with our check after voiding that disgusting sandwich, said nothing and walked away. I don’t understand why I was treated like a rude customer who screamed at her when all I did was say«I’m sorry but I don’t really like this». We had two servers help us out, the ticket said Jessica but just so I’m sure I’m not getting the wrong person, she was white with short blonde hair and she wore a green shirt. She makes this place look bad with her attitude and inability to communicate.

The food is consistently pretty good. The seating is terrible, only because this location is so small. The service is usually pretty friendly, but… the servers can get a lil bitchy when it gets busy. Not mean, just a bit annoying. But that’s not too often.

My husband and I showed up on a Saturday and we expected a long wait, but were pleasantly surprised when there was only one group ahead of us and 3 tables open. It still took 30 minutes for them to seat us in a table that was open from the beginning. My husband overheard a waitress say someone called in sick, so I had some sympathy for them, but with even two more people they would have still been understaffed. Their food is also subpar and overpriced. I had eggs Benedict(~$ 11) and they were«eh». My husband had a stack of pancakes(~$ 7) which he said were«terrible.» Also, don’t order the orange juice(~$ 4) or hot chocolate(~$ 3). OJ came out of a gallon store bought bottle. Hot chocolate was out of a packet they mix with hot water. Avoid this place. maybe not like the plague, but more like the flu.

Not a bad little café. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor ~ both of which are small. We had a bit of a wait, but honestly was not bad. Ample parking for the size of this café. I ordered scrambled eggs with potatoes. Apparently, they come with onions and green pepper, but I requested no green pepper! When they came they were loaded… yes, loaded… with onions. Some cooked and some raw. The potatoes were huge. Much like you would have if you were having steak and potatoes. Sadly, not much flavor to speak of ~ the onions overpowered the taste of both. The hubster ordered eggs and hashbrowns. I so wished I did too! He really enjoyed his breakfast. The coffee is delicious! Score!

Not the healthiest place but when you want a hearty breakfast that will leave you feeling full all day, then come here. They are very flexible to special requests. My favorite is the irish benedict. Also try the cinnamon roll pancake. It’s as epic as it sounds.

What a sweet little place! I adore how small and quaint this place is. It’s currently all decorated for Valentine’s Day and it’s so cute. The food is really pretty good. I’d avoid this place during the weekends, it’s really small and could fill up fast and have a super long wait. There isn’t much of a waiting area, so you have to stand outside. The staff is okay… When they get busy– they’re a little rude. They rush you and make you feel like you need to get going quickly. Last week I was there on Tuesday, and half the place was empty. This adorable elderly couple came in, and as they were being seated they mentioned one other person would be joining them. They waitress made them get out of their seats and go and wait, because she said they can’t be seated until their entire party was there. The restaurant was half empty! By the time this little ol’ couple made it back to the door, the person they were waiting on showed up, and the waitress took like, 10 minutes to notice they were ready to be seated again. Poor things, hopefully that waitress was having a bad day or something, I just don’t think that seemed right. That aside, the food is really good. Stop by on a weekday morning for some cozy comfort food. :)

This has been our go to breakfast place in Fullerton for years. The food and service has always been good. Today’s experience was just awful. We sat at the bar and waited to be served. I finally asked the waitress if we could order she said«let me find your waitress». We watched her for another ten minutes do everything else but that. I asked another waitress who our waitress was and she said«when you sit a the bar everyone is». All the other ladies became super helpful and the blonde waitress with a ponytail continued to ignore us. Everyone is entitled a bad day. Things become hectic, this world needs more patience. But there’s no excuse in lying to your customers and being rude when we didn’t deserve it. To the blonde waitress with the ponytail today– if you feel like you can’t do your job. Please call in sick so you don’t ruin someone else’s day.

Best breakfast in town great wait staff after a few visit they know your name and your order there’s an eclectic group of counter regulars who are friendly and willing to engage conversation. So if your looking for good food, friendly atmosphere were the coffee never stops flowing and they never try to push out the door even when there really busy. Kimmies is the place for you.

A good neighborhood breakfast spot. Nothing fancy, nothing special… the service is mediocre but it’s a great place to come if it’s convenient and you want a hot breakfast you didn’t have to cook. If the service was better I’d give it more stars.

The food is decent, nothing special. The place is OK for during the week, but I would stay away from here like the plague on the weekend. On the weekend, they are busy and as a result the kitchen is extremely slow, and the service borders on horrible. I ordered hashbrowns with my breakfast and they were barely cooked. There was nothing brown or toasted about the hashbrowns. It took almost 10 minutes for them to take my order to begin with. Once I was done with my meal, it was over 10 minutes before I realized no one was bringing me a bill. I had to grab the menu again to see how much my breakfast cost, which was $ 9.25 or something. Due to the horrible service, I put $ 10 on the table and walked out. I give the food here three stars and the service two stars. My overall a evaluation for this place is marginal.

This place is so cute. It has a white picket fence and you totally feel like you’re in a country kitchen. It has the old school feel and the people that work there are very welcoming. We were seated right away and had coffee and the table seconds later. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with hash browns. The quesadilla came with eggs, cheese(yum), bacon(double yum) and potatoes, served with pico de gallo, sour cream and you have your choices of rice and beans, potatoes(hash or diced), or fruit. It was all well prepared and a hearty portion. The only complaint I have is the parking. There are few spots in the back, but you can always park in the residential area.

This place is always packed on the weekend, so expect to wait. That being said, I love this place! It has to be one of my favorite spots to grab breakfast. I have never ordered a breakfast dish I didn’t like. My favorites are the corned beef hash and their seasonal pumpkin pancakes. You get a generous portion and leave feeling stuffed and ready for your day. The only downside is parking can suck and when it’s hot outside the patio is not the place you want to be.

It was my first time visiting this café. I liked the Country French Toast which was covered with oatmeal so I feel healthy. The café was decorated with fall-welcoming theme which was cute. I was satisfied with the customer service. It was a little warm this morning but they did not run the AC. Except that, I liked the food and cozy interior!

On the search to find the best cinnamon roll pancakes, I stumbled upon Kimmie’s. The pancakes were good. The Mexican scramble also good. But I’ll have to keep searching.

This review is only for Kimmie’s in Fullerton. It’s a quaint diner that makes you feel like you’re a tiny rural restaurant in the country. I’ve never had lunch here so this review is for breakfast only. The breakfast is outstanding, the waitresses are very sweet and hardworking. This place is always packed but well worth the wait.

This isn’t my neighborhood and we were meeting up friends. So we probably wouldn’t drive all the way here to eat again. This place is really cutesty! We shared the cinnamon roll french toast and it was delicious! I ordered the sausage patty and eggs and I ate a few bites of the Mexican scrambler. Everything is legit but they kept messing up on our order. Overall we had a good experience ;)

Nice little nook for breakfast on a hump-day Wednesday morning. Came here with the auntie and window seated ourselves inside right away. Coffee and creamers: Terrific! Server: Amiable:) Abundance of napkins: Excellent(the fact that I didn’t have to ask for extra is a plus!) Food: Good and plenty. Auntie ordered the Country Style Patty & Poached Eggs w/redskin potatoes and I had a Ham, Jack Cheese & Avocado Omelette w/hash browns. All was good, except I am just now realizing they forgot my avocado :( ‘Twas a good way to begin my workday, hanging with the auntie and sticking a fork in my Kimmie’s breakfast.
