Great sandwiches! I’ve been going here since I was a 1st grader at laguna now I’m 23 and the consistensy of this places sandwiches are yet to fail. I love the smoked turkey fresh ingredients with with a fresh loaf of bread for each sandwich. I can see how a small place like this is lasting so long

Stopped by here today because it was close by to my errands. This place doesn’t beat the usual shops I purchase from.
The inside looks old and so does its décor. This seems typical of small donut shops though.
The service was good. Selection limited. Donut was average.

More like 3.5 stars. Solid donut spot that also has many other staples. Typically fresh, but not late in the day. Nothing special, just do the basics pretty well.

I love this place! The owners are always so kind and the donuts are fresh. This is one of the only places that still makes French cruller donuts. The pink frosted ones are always soooo moist! Thank you so much for making these.

Homestyle donuts is probably my favorite donut shop by far. I’ve been traveling across the country searching for donuts that are worthy of my ravenous appetite. After what seemed like endless weeks, I stopped at homestyle donuts, realizing that my journey was complete. When I took my first bite out of the cream filled donut, I felt a sensation like no other. The creamy delicacy filled my mouth with joy and love to an extent where words can’t even explain such a beautiful moment. All in all, homestyle donuts, until the end of time, will be my favorite place to grab a quick bite. 10⁄10

Exactly what you would expect from a donut shop. Didn’t try any baked goods but there was a big variety all laid out nicely so that you could look at them up close (behind glass).
The coffee, in my opinion, is GOOD. Nice roasted flavor w/​o tasting burnt.
THE BAD: Coffee served in a styrofoam cup.

I only tried the sandwich because no where was open on a sun. Now I am a regular it’s really really good!!! Try it you will be glad you did. This place would be more crowded if people knew about it but it feels strange having lunch at a donut shop

All about convenience– I was buying donuts for the PTSA meeting and my go to drive thru was jammed packed– cant blame them!
So I came here– very nice and did my 2 dozen without batting an eyelash!

I eat way too many donuts from a dozen or so shops around the OC. Homestyle is probably a little better than most, but still lacks quality. Every now and then I will get an excellent donut from one of these places and it makes me wonder, why can’t I get an excellent donut everyday? It’s the same people making the donuts everyday with different results. Maybe the don’t change the oil often enough?
Homestyle is good, but I want great.

4 stars for the best thing on the menu… Giant tigertail cinnamon twist donut
Giant Cinnamon Twist Donut = MONEY~!!! It’s deep fried, glazed, cinnamon goodness. it’s almost crunchy like a apple fritter.
Blueberry Muffin = Don’t let the massive amount of blueberries on the muffin top fool you. The inside has NO blueberries in it. It was so disappointing
Blueberry Scone = Bland version of blueberry muffin.
Everything else = Average

All i grab here are crossiants. The Butter cresent moon eating is good. There isn’t a ton of butter inside and the extra proofing definitely spreads out the butter nicely.
Every so often i get donuts here but its donuts haha
