Fullerton Smog & Test Only

The place says it opens at 8:30am. Showed up at 11:30 and the owner was just pulling into the parking lot. Then he made me wait so he could put his signs outside. Seemed like he was irritated that I was even there. Sat there for almost an hour just to have him tell me that the machine was broken and that I would have to come back tomorrow morning. AND he didn’t give me my paperwork back. The one that is 100 yards away with the same name is very professional and really nice people to deal with. I went there 2 years ago. The only reason I ended up at the shady Fullerton Smog was because I had a coupon. What a mistake.

I did ok here, and got a smog check. But yeah, don’t like how 2 smog check places are the same name and 100 yds of each other.
The guy was nice to me, then again I have low expectations of people so I wasn’t disappointed.
oh well.

This place changed ownership within the last year. I took my wife’s car there. The smog new tech (Asian guy) got the car mixed up another model of car. He failed my car because he claimed the check engine light came on while he was testing it. The check engine light has never came on. I asked him what did he do to the car to make it come on. He gave me a lame excuse on why it came on. I walked out and filled a complaint with the BAA.

Terrible customer service and bad business ethics. I came here on accident while trying to go to the Fullerton Smog Check on 537 W. Valencia. I waited 10 minutes before anyone attended to me. The person working there told me there was another car in front of me and to sit and wait in their designated waiting area. It was filthy so I chose not to sit. I opted to walk around outside instead, which was fortunate because only then did I realize I was at 637 instead of 537. I left and went to 537.
The nice lady working there asked me if I had trouble finding that place and I told her that I accidentally went to the other «Fullerton Smog» just a 100 yards away. She told me this place recently changed their name to make it sound just like theirs. Also, they took down the «6» in the «637» of their address, so it just says «37», making it easy for customers who are trying to go to 537 to accidentally go there instead. SHADY.
I don’t know how their smog check service is because I didn’t get mine done here, but I would never trust anyone who goes out of their way to steal from and sabotage someone else.

This center used to be Diamond smog something or other. It seems they stole the name of its neighbor to steal their customer base.

Took my car here and a younger 25−35yr old Middle Eastern kid (Menna) smog checked my car. The emissions passed the test but let me pass the visual inspection saying that I had some things changed on my engine.
The punk kid should’ve told me this inspection before he smogged it!
This hole in the wall blows, they charge $ 61 for smog check plus $ 8.25 for the smog certificate. They advertise $ 30.00 off in the Pennysaver
He took my money for the smog and told me that if I gave him $ 70 extra he would pass me the next time but this time it failed!
WTF! You Thief!!!
I paid him and took my car elsewhere to repass my smog.
Don’t bother, No comfortable place to really sit either.
