Brought my family here for the 1st time for Father’s day. I was pleasantly surprised the service was so great considering not everyone in my family are Asian. That may sound offensive, but I’m usually disappointed by the lack of service I receive at some Asian restaurants because maybe I don’t look Asian enough. But anyway the service was on point, the food was delicious, and I especially loved the side dishes. Great place!

Very hearty, traditional homemade Korean food. The soybean paste stew was the best I have ever had. Spicy and full of flavor! Great variety of side dishes as well, the scallion pancake was fresh and delicious too!

They were one of the few places open on Memorial day and we were craving korean. I’m glad we went because the food was tasty and satisfied our cravings! We ordered a variety of items like bbq chicken, pork bulgogi, tofu soups, pork cutlets. So we didn’t go too adventurous with our meal, but the menu had a bunch of different options we will try next time. There are signs that say they use organic food only, as well as that alkali water that is supposed to be better for you. The place is a bit hidden in the Plaza, as it’s in the same Plaza as target but in a row of businesses bordering Yorba Linda. It faces away from Yorba Linda though, which is what makes it a bit hidden. The ladies who worked their were really nice too!

The food here is very fresh and authentic. I think the must try for this restaurant is the Gamjatang. The single portion had abundant amount of meat. Everything was so delicious and healthy I understand why people like coming here. The service was kind of slow. My water never got refilled and it took a really long time for the check to come out. Other than that everything was great.

Da Rae is our local KBBQ option for reliable good food and there’s rarely a wait. Our usual go to dishes are the bulgogi, galbi, chicken bulgogi, bibimbap, and galbi tang. All of these are 1st rate. My favorite is the galbi tang(beef rib soup). The broth is light and there’s generous portion of the beef ribs which are always very tender. The bibimbap is our favorite in the area. The rice is nicely crisped, with lots of meat and vegetables and topped with a fried egg. The meat dishes are cooked in the kitchen and served on sizzling skillets. I wouldn’t say the portions are generous but they are always delicious. They also have what seems to be more authentic dishes such as fish egg stew. They are good but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone relatively new to the cuisine. The banchan is also really good. Our favorite is the chive pancake though the chilled tofu is pretty refreshing. The boys always look forward to the sweet rice drink for dessert. In fact they always ask for seconds which the waitresses are happy to provide. Overall Da Rae is great place for a quick, casual and good KBBQ meal.

Bibimbap was on point! I was introduced to this place by a friend who goes there all the time, otherwise I probably would have never see it and never tried it. I’m all about the hole in the wall mom and pop joints, and this place was no disappointment. Great food and people.

This place is da bomb. The best bibimbap I’ve ever tasted. Very cozy place. I’m glad that I have discovered this hidden gem. They have the best Korean food I’ve tasted so far in California. And the service is good.

The food is good for me to come back + price is reasonable given there isn’t much competition and the price is comparatively there with the other Korean restaurants in the OC + as a Korean, this place is comfort food = will go back often.

We ordered togo and are glad they use good paper containers for hot soup dishes. Claimed that they do not use MGS. Food taste like home-cooked with quality ingredient.

The best Korean joint in the area by far. Loves the banchan and their service. Ordered bosam and it was good as not many Korean restaurant offers this. Best place to get Korean food when craving something homey. Definitely recommend this place when looking for a good Korean restaurant with lots of option.

With most places, you gotta know what to order. If you order the right things here, it’s probably some of the best Korean food around. At this place, it’s the kalbi tang that’s the star. Sure, the bibim bap is good but the kalbi tang is worth the drive. It’s a rich broth that’s only made with cooking the broth for a long time. It’s hard to imitate that quality of flavor. They don’t skimp on the meat and the soy sauce-hot mustard sauce gives the meal a nice touch. It’s a pretty hearty portion, you could probably split it between 2 people. There’s other stuff I haven’t tried, partly because if I know what’s good, I keep getting it. The pan chan is pretty good here too. The yukeh-jang isn’t as oily and spicy as other places but pretty good too. The kalbi-tang is better. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Here’s a few tips when eating at a Korean restaurant. Order what the restaurant specializes in. Often I see people order the«lesser items» and then complain. For example, you generally don’t want to order bulgogi or chicken bulgogi at a KBBQ place. Typically the bulgogi is marinated to mask the lesser quality off meat.(I’ve seen a few places use sliced rib eye though.) As for chicken bulgogi, they are using a beef marinade on chicken… but I don’t think it works well. If you want good Korean bbq, get the kalbi. It’s a better cut of meat. And if you’re in the mood for chicken, head to a place that makes ddak kalbi(chicken kalbi). It’s spicy but much better than chicken bulgogi… The other day I was at a Korean place known for their seafood and some dude asked for kim chee fried rice… not only was it not on the menu, but he will miss out on why the restaurant is popular.

This review is late but I was thinking about where to meet and eat with my friend this weekend and bam, this place was the first I thought of! From my previous visit, I had dinner here with another friend of mine was craving for Korean food and I’m telling you… BEST ever. I love the fact that they serve alkaline water too! I don’t know about you but that shit is good LOL Will definitely be back whenever I am around Fullerton!

I’m very enjoying their food. I tried chulpan bokkumbap, Tofu Soup, Yukejang, ojingeo bokkum, bulgoggi, etc. Everything was good. My favorite menu is chulpan bokkmbap. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Probably the best bibimbap I’ve had in a long time. The regular bibimbap is like a salad because there’s so many vegetables. All the food is organic and fresh. Well worth the trip. Will definitely come again.

It finally rained in Fullerton today and I was craving some hot tofu soup because of the cold weather. This place has been in my bookmarks for almost a while since it’s so close to campus. And just so you guys know, this place is NOT a kbbq restaurant. I got the BEEFSOONDUBU and CHICKENBULGOGI combo. The beef soondubu was okay… I’ve had better in my opinion. It didn’t really have that much flavor to it but I still ate all of it. Since you don’t really see any other places with soondubu in Fullerton, this place is definitely a place to go instead of driving out anywhere else. The chicken bulgogi was actually really good. That dish had sooo much flavor it was delicious. This place is definitely a bit overpriced. The combo was $ 16. The Korean soondubu places back home are wayyyy cheaper. however some portion sizes seemed pretty big(I saw the seafood pancake at the other table… it’s huge!) It’s a small restaurant and it was pretty busy when I got there. I waited about 25 min to get my food… but they gave me the veggie pancake on the house, which was really nice of them. The ladies were also super nice about it. The meal also came with side dishes but I wish they gave it to me while I was waiting for the food instead of at the same time. Overall, a good small Korean restaurant. It is a bit pricey for me as a poor college student but I’m glad I gave this place a try.

This restaurant is the best Korean restaurant ever. I really enjoy their food and this place has great service it also comes with desert. The cost is worth it and isn’t crowded. I also like that tyne water is fresh made from Alkali water. This restaurant also has a nice fragrance. There is a great variety of food. Yum. There also is everything u need there… I totally recommend for u to come here. And also if u see the brown wooden container it’s sea salt not msg. And I also asked so it’s sea salt. I brought many of my friends and they would gone this place A five star. I think the service is very good in a sense of being friendly and bringing out the food quickly.

1. Taste: the kal bee tang soup is very tasty and good compare with other Korean restaurants. The cold dishes are very good. 4 stars 2. Service: there was only one waitress there during some sort of rush hour 6 pm. Slower service than my expectation .3 stars 3. Hygiene: very clean and neat, grease free tables. 4 stars 4. Quanlity: the beef very juicy and fresh. The Napa served with Bossam was kinda of hard. Maybe not well marinated 3 stars
