They never disappoint me with their Phó. It’s cheap, delicious and always come back for more.

Terrible! Worst phó ever. It tastes like water. It is so flavorless and nasty. In order for it to taste alright I needed to put three soy sauce packets, an entire sriracha packet, and some sea salt. The noodles are fine but the broth is quite literally colored water.

So my bestie farfetteskii and l wanted something to eat. We Unilocaled this place and went here. The place was open spaced and clean. We ordered the veggie ham and it was great. The meat to me had this nice turkey like flavor and was pretty filling. It was so good, l recommed anyone to try it! We also got the buy one get one free boba. l got the milk green tea with green apple jelly. Very awesome. Next time l want to try their veggie sandwich! Definitely coming back!

Five stars really hit me today! Veggie ham banh mi: So I believe this is like their vegetarian ham and let me tell you, was it sooo delicious! The veggie meat loaf is thicker than the real meatloaf and you get that sweet«ham» like taste and it was like the perfect ham-like taste. It really made my tastebuds feel satisfied. I shared half of the sandwhich with da farfsta Banh mi aka bread: The texture of the baguette wasn’t hard like Lees Sandwhiches. It was crunchy but only if they had made it soft and crunchy. The crunch kind of hurt the roof of my gums so it wasn’t as fresh as I thought it would be. You could def taste the somewhat butter in it Tofu Spring Rolls: I could have made this myself at home but since I was still hungry I saw this and decided to try it. The tofu inside wasn’t small and stingy but a pretty good meaty size. The«peanut» sauce will always be one of my fave sauces Green Tea with Red Boba and Pudding: I was craving for green tea and this deal is awesome bc when you buy one you get one free and two add ons are included. The green tea was sweet and wished they could have added less sugar. The red boba wasn’t that chewy but has a crunch in the middle. The pudding could easily tell that it could melt in ur mouth right away. If you leave it in ur cup for awhile, the pudding bcomes like the drink. I’ve tried the milk green tea in the Westminster location(Brookhurst and McFadden) and it wasn’t as sweet as today’s drink. Love the deal The cashier male needs to smile and be a bit friendlier.

Ordered to-go here yesterday and not only did they give my soup away to someone else by accident, but the soup I got didn’t have any side of bean sprouts, no lime, no basil leaves. Really disappointed!

Not the highest rated nor the«best» in any«foodie» sense but still one of my favorites. Although I’ve seen this place for a decade, it was only maybe a year or two ago that I visited upon a friend’s sincere recommendation. Boy was he right and boy is this place under rated. Here’s the skinny. 1. Price. Although they’ve gone up slightly, still one of the best values in town. 2. Flavor. From the rice dishes to the phở to the bahn mi, I like the food here. 3. Variety. Like I said above, phở, bahn mi, rice dishes, and desserts too. Not only that they have a «fast food» on the go side and a sit-down side of the restaurant. 4. Authenticity. The people barely speak English. They’re all Vietnamese. Despite the communication issues, I like that. One of my favorite spots for this type of food. It’s close to where I live and reasonably priced and always reliable.

I was on my way to pick up my son from SFV and was starving and craved a bun mi, I Unilocaled the closest and most reviewed place, ok bad choice cause I was bombarded with people and waited for 25 minutes(no big deal, if it were to be good) and got a very sub par meal for the fam, not tasty, not crispy(I had one there) the soup sucked ass and don’t know why but there was a boat load of people in line waiting to get this crap, the only thing that was ok was the fact that I discovered a strip mall of Viet food that I may want to try one day, funny cause I ended up at a Chinese place with my wife for din sum at the place next door a month later and that sucked as well(check my review for«firuwa ») anyway to much hype as always and no flavor, I can’t wait to find a great place for a crispy Fresh French bread sandwich experience, so far it’s been«mon ami» but only for the bo né!!! Oh and it’s good mushroom filet with the fresh bread, ok so that’s that and I sometimes dislike being so honest, Happy eats and Unilocal on my friends!!! I have to mention this, it’s a buy two get one free small sandwich, good times,… Enjoy ‚., or???:))))

The magic is lost once you get north of the 22 or something. So stoked that they were gonna put one of the bad boys by my house. Almost everything is better at the little Saigon and Covina? Locations. Phở was fine. Service was and always is terrible. Not a problem at the take out counter, sitting down is aggravating though. Went three times when it first opened. And once more to put the last nail in that coffin. Doesn’t suck. But was a pretty big let down for someone at spends a ton of time in Westminster and was expecting that standard. Connected to the worst parking lot in Orange County(Costco). Great prices.

I understand why people may not like the service. But the buy 2 and get 1 free sandwich deal is great. The buy 1 and get 1 free milk tea/green tea drinks are great. Considering the price of Phở at other places($ 8 – 10), I think it is great. I personally like this broth and the meat for it. I always get the Chicken Phở because it is 20% off(from 6.25 I believe). I frequent this place because of the taste and location. Outside of the Phở, sandwiches, and drink deals(milk tea, green tea, etc.), I personally would go for other items. I wasn’t really a fan of their Bun Bo Hue or the curry. The appetizers are ok, but I would only get if I was really hungry.

I was craving a Bånh Mi sandwich and saw the buy two get one free, so I went for it. Being right next door to the large Lee’s sandwich chain, they are definitely holding up well. I really enjoyed the sandwich. The location does offer more than just sandwiches. It’s a big open space where one part is a sit down and order type of restaurant offering you typical Vietnamese cuisine and the other half is where they sell the sandwiches and other to go items. This place is a must try.

Food was not that good. Meat was cold. I guess I am used to the goodness of Lee’s. The baguette was the only thing that was good. Plus the iced coffee was already pre-made. Would not recommend this place at all. Go next door to Lee’s, way better.

I don’t know what happened since the last time I came here but I ordered some food to go you know the phở chicken. And when I got home I noticed my chicken was cold which kind of sucked and when it was cold and had that little bit of chicken fat on the breast that attach the skin. I was sad because this was my third time here and although they gave me plenty of hoisin sauce my soup sucked. This happens sometimes when searching for the perfect phở. I’m hoping this was just a small oversight and the kitchen was having a bad day. Because now I am pholess.

If i could give this place a zero star i would I come here multiple times and each time i have worse experience than the last. I knew about their poor service and rude waitresses so i dont expect much. And bad service are usually common with asian restaurants so really i dont expect anything at all! We only eat here when we are in the area and my in laws want to eat here, otherwise I wouldn’t even bother going here. Last night when I was there I got water spilled on me TWICE wach by a different waitresses. They dont watch where they put their water down. They DONT even have the decency to APOLOGIZE or OFFERED to replace my drenched in water food! I had to ask for a new meal. And on top of that my brand new pair of uggs is all drenched in water, my PHONE in my pocket got wet(thankfully it still work) so you better believe I gave them a piece of my mind. And the waitress looked at me like I’m crazy for being upset. On top of that none of the damn waiter never even replaced the two water that they spilled. The food was was decent and not priced to expensive but their service and lack of respect for the customers are definitely the reason that I will never come back to this place. There are a lot of other cheap phở restaurant and I know I won’t be getting this kind of treatment.

I’ve never had a negative experience with the food here! Their banh mis are tasty and egg rolls too! Love their teas and the other things I’ve tried here and there(pad Thai) have all been delicious as well. Their customer service could be better, I agree, but it’s not terrible! They have really good deals that are hard to beat for a cheap lunch!

You know, I really don’t expect much from a Banh Mi place that is so far from Little Saigon proper, but MAN, this place is actually pretty good. I highly recommend the #24 Baguette Sandwich, and add in a fried egg. 2 of those and an iced coffee puts you in at just over $ 11,allowing you to pay by credit card and have a pretty damn good lunch. FYI, they do mess up sometimes since it’s busy, so check your sandwiches before you leave. Also, I can’t speak for the restaurant side of the place. Banh Mi’s are good, but the other dishes are pretty much what you would expect from Fullerton.

I think it’s absolutely hilarious that people downgrade Vietnamese restaurant for the lack of service. Asian restaurants, typically authentic ones like these, are well-known for terrible service. I am not sure if it is still the practice now but for many Vietnamese restaurants, the waiters do not get to keep the tips. The owners take all the tips. That’s why Vietnamese customers never tip well because the waiters get nothing. Anyway, that’s probably why the waiters do not have any incentive to be polite. As far as this restaurant, the food is decent considering it is in Fullerton, and not Garden Grove. The prices are really good. Where else can you get a sandwich for $ 3.00? Not Subway. Not Togo’s. Not any of your burger joints. So lighten up, people. Be nice to these waiters. They make barely minimum wages with no tips. Even the Hispanic workers get better treatment elsewhere.

I was feeling like bånh mi so off I went to check out this Fullerton location. This is situated in the Costco plaza right next to the famous Lee’s Sandwiches. I figure if it’s been there a while and literally right next door to a direct competitor, something must be good there! I don’t know much about bånh mi, I just know that the first time I had it more than 10 years ago, I had no idea what was going on with this sandwich. Today in 2016, I’m more and more accustomed to its unique combination of Vietnamese flavors. I really enjoy these sandwiches now. Even crave it from time to time. As we walked in, you’ll have to go to the right side of the building to enter the sandwich shop area. There you’ll find the half sizes at buy two get one free, or the large sizes at regular price /deal. They also serve a variety of buy one get one speciality boba drinks($ 3USD). It was kinda cool to get three sandwiches for only $ 7.02. They only take credit card over orders $ 10, so make sure to bring cash unless you’re buying drinks too. We opted for the #1, #3, and #4. #3 was a warm sandwich and the others were somewhat colder.(At least by the time we got back home). The bread was nicely«skinnied» so there wasn’t as much carbs but definitely all the crusty bread parts. The bread was crunchy but still softer and fresher tasting than Lee’s. The insides didn’t seem as stuffed, but really, for around $ 2 a sandwich, Pamela isn’t complaining. It was still filling. I dunno why all the three star reviews, but I personally really liked this place. The food was good, quick, the service was great too. No complaints.

Don’t know why i’ve never tried this place until recently. This place has good Vietnamese sandwiches as well as phở. I ordered the Phở, and really liked it. The broth was lacking salt, but other than that it was definitely perfect for the cold weather we’ve been having. They also have a boba special where you buy one milk tea for $ 3 you get another free. I ordered the basic milk tea and really liked it. The only thing i didn’t like was that the service was lacking, we ended up waiting constantly to order, get refills, and to get our check. Other than that, the food here is really good and conveniently priced.

I come here for the sandwiches. Buy 2 get one free. I would suggest getting the Egg sandwich. Its not on the menu but just ask for it. Also the Dac Biet and the sardine sandwich is really good too. Boba is buy one get on free. I would also recommend their egg rolls. The food on the menu is decent, but I think the sandwiches are really good.

I really like this location because compared to the many I have been to, they have pandan jelly with as a topping to their buy one get one free boba! ANDIT’S THEBESTTHINGEVER! The store is separated between to go and restaurant sit in, so if you want to go, get in line in the right side of the store and order upfront! If you sit down on one of the tables, on the left side of the restaurant, then right away someone should serve you. Yes, they might not be perfect at english, but I’m sure they’ll understand what you order from them. Food is good, but not great! They are definitely worth the price you are paying for though. They have vietnamese sandwiches for buy 2 and get 3rd for free! That’s pretty good, set breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
