This is not a place for a quiet cozy meal, but it is a decent place for barbeque. The televisions and the bar run the atmosphere. There is not much around this restaurant so you will probably have to drive a bit to get to it. Also, the name was updated a while back to Adam’s Taphouse Grille.

I love the food here! I prefer to-go rather then dine-in since I’m not 21 yet. However I have dined in and enjoyed the experience. The server was VERYYY perky.

Incredible service and incredible eats. Came in today, on Wednesday, Adam’s weekly rib special. I haven’t eaten at Adam’s in a number of years, but happy to come back, and Adam’s did not disappoint! Incredible ribs, delicious cole slaw, and zero complaints.

We go every Tuesday night for their trivia and half priced appetizers. They have amazing TAPHOUSE nachos, good prices on their happy hour, Onion Strings are fantastic, and their ribs are melt in your mouth good. The hostess, Margo, is such a sweetheart… Great casual place to go and just have a good time!!! Highly recommend going here. Also, I have attended several luncheons after funerals and several catering events — they do an awesome job!

I have been here many times, but not recently. They have a nice redo on the exterior. The inside is the the same as it has been for many years. The had a very good crowd on this Saturday night. Now the bad news. Our waitress took our drink order, but it was not delivered for 15 minutes or so. While waiting we saw a water bug run across the molding next to our booth. The waitress took our order. My wife ordered Ahi tuna tacos. I ordered the blackened Mahi tacos. I know, it’s a barbecue place. Why are we ordering seafood. You’re right. We should have ordered barbecue. My Mahi tacos were okay, with sides of cole slaw and pasta salad. The sides were small, but pretty good. The tacos were pretty good, but could have used a little more Mahi. My wife ordered the Ahi tacos. The tuna was chewy and grey at the edges. My wife was concerned and made me try it. We pushed on and no one got sick. I could only assume the Ahi had been frozen and quick thawed. Don’t order these here. Go to a Japanese restaurant for Ahi. In all we wish we had ordered barbecue and probably willnot go back soon. We assume the bug was an anomaly, but it gives you a bad impression.

Such a wonderful place — not sure which is best — the beach or the ribs. Well, actually it is the beach. But this is definitely worth the trip!

When you walk in, you have a very home-like feel at the host station. I sat at the bar and had immediate service. The bar area was pretty big and they had a pool table off to the side(bonus). They have a chalkboard with all their drafts on tap, many of which were local. Menu does not have all their listed sides, but the bartender can tell you when you order. Not a huge menu, but a good selection. I’m a fan of doing a few things the RIGHT way, and this really is a place for ribs. They fell apart when I picked them up and were very tasty. I ordered mashed potatoes and applesauce as my sides. The potatoes were a large portion and balanced the bbq sauce flavor nicely. The applesauce was standard cinnamon. The staff and locals really made you feel like home. For a traveler, I felt right at home!

The only good stuff are the bbq pulled beef, sweet potato fries and the Mac and cheese. The wait staff at the front are loud as Hell and don’t shut up! Every time and I mean I’ve given them three chances, and they failed every time. The owner who others are saying is nice needs to realize he’s going to loose business with those loud mouths there at the front.

First, if you have a wood paneling phobia– avoid this place like the plague. I felt like I was eating in my parents 1970’s rec room. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a rather surly woman who was fanning herself with menus.(It appeared that they were having an issue with the hvac in certain areas, as when I went to the bar area to use the restroom, it was really warm in there.) Our server was a very young guy, but he was friendly and attentive. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich, in a weirdly named style that escapes my memory. It was okay… Although the sauce tasted very Chinese BBQ pork to me, and not remotely what I would expect from a BBQ restaurant. I opted for the BBQ pork loin special, and it was good– although it wasn’t very hot when it came out and lacked any semblance of BBQ sauce, so grilled may have been a more accurate term. I felt that the prices seemed high for the quality of food and rather casual atmosphere. Would we go back? Probably. It wasn’t the worst meal we’ve had in town, and I like to support locally owned businesses.

Our family has enjoyed Adam’s for years and all the food is tasty with good service. The wings and ribs are special! Last week 7 of us went to celebrate a birthday(if you friend Adam’s on FBook you eat free on birthday!) and a couple of items were unavailable. Our friendly waiter told the owner, Pete who visited the table and delivered a special and delicious substitute meal. This took place just before closing on a slow Sunday night which was impressive.

Me and my girlfriend decided to grab a bite to eat from Adam’s this past Saturday night. Good crowd at the bar with the dining room about 30% full I’d say. The first thing I noticed was some slimy lettuce all over our menus. I could have done without that. Our waitress came and took our drink orders and we ordered our entrees shortly after. I ordered their signature dish, a full rack of baby back ribs($ 20) that came with two sides. Mine were French fries and coleslaw. The portion size was great. The ribs have a smokey flavor to them. Some parts were a little dry but overall they were pretty tasty. The fries could have been better, but the coleslaw was great. My girlfriend got a burger«Fruitland Style». She said it was very good. Overall, a good meal. The only complaints would be that it was a little noisy being as we were close to the bar(not great for a quiet dinner), our waitress wasn’t very attentive, and that slimy lettuce on our menus. I can see myself eating here again, but it’s not a place that will have me coming in every week or month.

I have had great service and love the ribs with a side of rare steak… great every time! the only downside to my experience is that is awful noisy because the bar, if your looking for a romantic quiet dinner wear earplugs! It’s a fun place to dine and I will be back:)

Adam’s used to be the perfect happy hour place. Reasonable prices and the best buffalo chicken wings or tenders I have ever had. It may still be good for happy hour, but otherwise Adam’s has become so-so. Don’t get me wrong, the buffalo wings and tenders are still awesome, but the new menu and pricing isn’t the best value. The menu has gotten limited and prices have increased. Can’t knock anybody for trying to make a living however, just feel that the value is not always there for the price. Besides the buffalo chicken(wings, tenders, wraps) the cuban panini is amazing! The ribs are solid, and the beer selection is pretty good too! Don’t forget them for catering, the Black Diamond catering side of Adam’s is excellent. Been to one event with their food and it was top notch food.

I was in town on business staying at the hotel next door and I smelt BBQ so I thought I would give them a try. Thought this would be a less than friendly establishment since I am a black so I was just going to get my food and leave but actually the food was good and the staff was great so I stayed a while. Had the ribs and they were great.

Okay, so I went all the way in Salisbury, MD and looking for a place to dine. I found this side of the road spot called Adam’s as I had a taste for ribs. The place has plenty of parking and it’s really hard to choose where to park when there are only maybe 5 cars in the lot and about 50 spaces, lol! If you’re paying with cash but don’t have any on you, GREATNEWS, They have an ATM! Bad news is that it’s always empty so get cash before you go there, otherwise they do accept credit and debit cards. I had the bufallo wing appetizer and let me tell you… there isn’t a great deal to making bufallo wings but… everyone can’t do it. Fortunately for Adam’s, they did a pretty adequate job. I had a half rack of ribs and got full… they were some pretty big baby-backs. I had a combo platter which was a half rack of the babys and a sirloin steak. I like my steak as well as possible without burning it and few places are able to accomplish this but Adams was and it was tender and juicy… Just great. The downside to our experience at Adam’s was probably the drinks. I think the only thing worse than not enough alcohol in a drink is WAYTOO much. Overall, this was pretty decent place with pretty good food. I visit Salisbury a couple times a year, so I wouldn’t have problem eating there again… minus the alcohol.

My family started going to Adam’s for the live music on Thursday nights. The entertainment is great, but the service is consistently horrific. It’s the kind of place that can’t perform adequately when they are busy. It’s like they go into panic mode with a crowd. During out last visit we sat in the bar section at a booth, waited 30 minutes and finally had to flag someone down just to have a waiter sent over. The hostess is worthless 90% of the time. We begrudgingly finally placed our order, but by this time we were annoyed. The waiter didn’t even apologize for his tardiness and half the time he could be seen watching the football game on one of the television screens rather then being attentive to the patrons. Overall, it’s kind of an average place. The food is mediocre. We tend to stick with the appetizers and sample them. The pulled pork is not good, and the«Delmarvalous» chicken was sub-par. Be prepared for the noise as well.
