Passing through town, we ended up here twice. They have a good IPA and pale ale. Real good. — Fish & chips are solid and I upgraded to the buffalo chips — tasty. — BLAST sandwich is also a winner. Well-prepared and not too large. — Hummus plate is a good choice for a not-very-hungry vegetarian. Plenty of pita. Great service at the bar. Not noisy at all — music is appropriately ‘background’ in the early evening(don’t know about later).

There isn’t anything special about this place. The food was generic. I ordered the pulled pork tacos, it consisted of dried out pork smothered in a standard barbecue sauce overloaded with cheese and lettuce. My drink, the WooWoo!, was weak and lacking ice. The server was polite enough but during the meal she was sitting at a table behind us talking to another employee about her financial budget and how much she has to make on tips per night. Having service experience, I understand how much you depend on tips but when she gave us the bill she made a strong point to tell us a gratuity hadn’t been added, pity party approach? If you’re just needing to eat something, this will work but, if you’re wanting a joyful eating experience I’d go somewhere else.

I’ve given this place a a couple shots and the service is exceptionally slow. I am usually fairly tolerant but both times the restaurant wasn’t all that busy. The food is over all ok while keeping in mind it’s bar food. Unfortunately the pricing does not reflect the quality of the food.

This is probably the WORST place I’ve ever eaten. First our waitress(didn’t give us her name, but wears a hippie headband around her forehead) was slow with everything including water. We had to ask twice for her to bring us our water. We all ordered drinks which took about 20 minutes to be delivered. Those were weak and expensive. The wheat beer my friend ordered was absolutely terrible. I ordered the salmon spinach salad. The presentation was horrid and I’d be embarrassed if I served this to guests. This salad cost $ 15 and it was literally a handful of spinach and a small piece of salmon, I had to ask for more spinach. There was more dressing in my plastic cup(you serve dressing for a $ 15 salad in a PLASTIC cup) than spinach in my $ 15 salad. I also ordered the beer cheese soup, that wasn’t bad really. You should serve that with the pita you serve with the hummus, it looks better than saltine crackers. My husband ordered the Cuban burger. This burger was dry and it wasn’t served with pulled pork it was served with CHOPPEDHAM!!! They over cooked the sirloin burger and the presentation was also terrible. Absolutely NO flavor in the burger. My friend ordered the Southwest Mexican burger or something, either way, same sloppy presentation and it was also lacking flavor and no pulled pork on her burger either. Was there a shortage of pulled pork??? Did you run out and not communicate that with our server? We were never told you wouldn’t be putting that on the burgers. Another friend in our party ordered the Hummus plate, we decided that City Market has better tasting Hummus. The only one that liked her meal was the Fish and Chips friend, you really can’t screw that up can you!!! Any way we will not be returning EVER.

Went here after a long ride at 18 road. The beer was awful and the Southwest burger left my friend and my stomach doing flips the rest of the night. Stay away!

The least a business could do is keep their hours up-to-date. Nothing worse than being on the road for 12 hours getting off to get a bite to eat and finding out the kitchen is already closed even though Unilocal says they are open for another hour. It’s March and they said they need to update their hours for winter?!

It’s more of a 3.5, if that matters. The service is prompt and polite, in a great Fruita location, but I’ve yet to have a whole meal here that’s great. You must however go for their buffalo chips and a beer. Sliced potatoes coated in spices, and fried, and served with a buffalo sauce for dipping. Yum.

From Santa Maria, Ca. NEEDEDTOWATCHOURNYGIANTS! Got table in front of our game. I’m loving the house IPA. My wife is 5 deep on the hefeweizen. We are mug members at Fig Mountain Brew out off central coast, many awards won, and this place has great taste for such a small spot. I highly recommend Brooke’s section, Brings you beers when your low. Doesn’t bug, but seems to know if you need something. A lil taste of something different? No problem. Been here close to 3 hours and nothing but love. I’m coming back whenever I come visit my family in Fruita.

Nothing but fried foods. If you like greasy same old, same old, you’ll love this. I came with my kids and couldn’t get staff out of the bar. Sat there for a very long time with no service. I was bummed because I was hoping it would be a new place to treat my family. They really need more variety in their menu.

The food is delicious, but some of the worst service we have ever seen. Consistently the food takes 30 – 60 minutes to arrive. Today was 35, and it came out lukewarm.

We were really excited to have dinner at Suds Brothers, but it was pretty uninspiring. The beer offerings on the night we were there(Thursday) were heavily oriented to the stout and malty ale end of the spectrum — my wife and I both prefer an IPA or pale ale, but neither of those were available. There is no bottled beer or beer/ale from any other producers, just the house-made stuff, which would be OK if they have a flavor/style that you like. In the end, I had a Mexican-style lager and she had an amber ale(actually, not what was ordered, but it was OK). We had green chile which was quite good and shared a bruschetta appetizer, which was very weird — very small and sparse slices of a decent(although) limp baguette liberally sprinkled(buried?) in tomato and big chunks of feta accompanied with a little cup of extremely think, gooey balsamic vinegar reduction, which you were supposed to drizzle on the tomato/feta compote… Poorly executed, but the thought was there, I guess. Friendly waitress with scary lipstick. If they had had a beer that we liked, that and the very competent green chile might have produced another star or two.

Average restaurant. Nothing too special. Outside eating area as well is decently nice.

This is a full service music, and sports geared brewery/bar/restaurant. We did not eat, but came in for a quick pint. They have happy hour, as well as a beer special every day. Bartender was chill. We had the double white and an IPA. As we were asking him about the interesting guitar and bass hanging above the bar, he pointed out the Beatles memorabilia shrine near the door. Nice spot, they were playing sports on TV, if that is your thing.

The turkey wrap and fire cracker burger was willing… Par it with the nut brown beer and you will never be disappointed. Staff is very nice and attentive.

Delicious food and great staff, our waiter was friendly and accommodating while making us feel right at home. Loved the fried pickles and the Carolina BBQ sandwich was AMAZING! If I’m ever in Fruita again I know exactly where I’m going!

Yay new chef just started and started off with a bang… first Sunday brunch with lots of options… Omelets fresh prepared to order. Expecting a new menu soon as Rich(chef) can come up with it. Great to see Aaron is still here and has an attitude of a contributing owner. Also found out the owners have acquired the former End Zone and renamed it the Fat Jar Cannery and Brew House. Now maybe we can patronize business in our town again!

Great service! Both ladies serving were super friendly and helpful. We asked Jen what she liked on the menu and I was so happy to get a honest response. Her favorite is the firecracker burger with a chicken breast substituted plus avocado. SOGOOD. The fish tacos were tasty, would rather have a corn tortilla but flour still tasted great! IPA was tasty. Looking forward to coming back in the fall when we go mountain biking.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on our way back from Moab yesterday. We were originally going to check out a place up the street, but given our passion for good, craft brews, we decided to check out Suds instead. Unfortunately the patio was packed so we had to be inside on a beautiful day. Our server was on top of all of our needs upon sitting down. I had a honey orange wheat and the Mexican beer(forget the name) both were light and refreshing. My boyfriend had the hefeweizen and German lager, happy with both. The food was very good. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich with buffalo chips, you have to get the buffalo chips for your side if you come here! My guy had a burger. High quality ingredients here. Great atmosphere, looks like they also occasionally have live music here. Highly recommend!

Stopped at lunch today and had a great experience. I tried the flight of their in house brews and ended up taking home 2 growlers. We sat at the bar and got great service from the bartender who gave us all the info we could have ever wanted about the in house brews. Ended up getting the firecracker burger and it was awesome. Next time I drive through Fruita I am definitely stopping in for a drink.

I’ve eaten here twice — very impressed. Both times the service was good. The Hefeweizen was amazing, the German Lager was dark red and a little fruity — so delicious. Their food is tasty. There are plenty of healthy options, and the prices are quite reasonable. On Tuesdays, all drafts are $ 2. That’s awesome. I’ll be back!
