The food was great!!! The mint chutney wasn’t exactly what I’m accustomed to but overall the food was really good.

Ok so I thought to give this place another try out, The placed was packed and so was a good sign right, HELLNO. There was one guy who was running around like a «chicken with his head cut off» where the hell are all the severs! I felt so bad for this guy looked like they had a girl that looked like she just clearly new and didn’t know what she was doing. another young guy that was trying. It took over an hour to get even appetizers and was so disgusted we walked out. The waiter who waited on us apologized to us several times… I felt so bad for him… Clearly the owners who ever they are need to heed this advise! SHUTTHISPLACEDOWN!!! I give this place a –100DONOTGOEATHERE

Absolutely disappointed by this place, this place is a definition of mismanagement. I pity on the staff of this restaurant. On busy weekend, a restaurant full of customers was served by 3 people and i guess 2 cooks in the kitchen. I had food at this place 4 months ago, the taste was amazing, but now it has taken a nose dive in terms of standards.

Horrible place! Our first time there and it was a bad experience! Never going back. Through the short time we were there, we had 3 different waiters. We order drinks and the waiter forgot them. We asked twice for our drinks. When we finally got our appetizers, we got a dirty utensil to get it with. Bad service and bad food! Don’t recommend it at all!!! There’s plenty of other places around the area to eat at so we ended up at a different place after visiting here!

I only wished that I was eating meat when we came, I ordered the paneer tikka masala which was the best I have ever had. being from india, I eat a lot of indian food, in both the united states and in india. in north india and south india, the middle as well. the curry was perfect, not sure what else to say. most indian restaurants have really bad service as a rule, but this place was different and everyone who talked to us couldn’t have been nicer. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Well… I’m still waiting for water. If I start writing my review before I’ve even finished eating it’s either really amazing or REALLY bad. Unfortunately this one is the latter. I wasn’t able to finish my meal because I was so thirsty. The server filled the water glasses of everyone at the table next to us, SKIPPEDUS, then went to the next table after us and filled the water glasses of everyone else. He literally had to walk past us to get to the next table. And I had my empty water glass sitting across the table at the edge. This happened twice! THEN, the fake out. The woman who seated is looked in my direction, smiled and quickly grabbed the water pitcher and started quickly walking in my direction. I thought FINALLY someone paid attention. She stopped about half way to me to fill the glasses of another table and then she went back to the bar… Really?! My boyfriend liked the food, I thought it was bland. Bad service, no water, ok food = 1 star(only because there is no 0 star)

The vindaloo was some of the best I’ve ever had. You should also try the spicy shrimp appetizer. The chicken briny was awesome as well.

Easily one of the best Indian dinners we have had since we moved to the DFW area. We have been surprised at how mediocre the Indian has been here, relative to the Indian population in the area. A quick Unilocal search of Indian restaurants and the consistent sub-4.0 ratings support my opinion as well. Sigree did not disappoint. My wife is a Celiac so Indian is generally a safe bet that she can eat something on the menu. We found plenty but I have to say, the staff could definitely be more educated on allergies. The gentleman at the bar came over to take a drink order and ended up waiting on us all night. He was very friendly and helpful and when he didnt know the answer, he got it for us. As for the food. Across the board flavorful and delicious. The Honey Crispy Veggies are more Indo-Chinese than true Indian, but the concept was amazing. Think a Chinese version of Tempura, tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce. I could eat this daily! The Bhindi Kurkure aka okra was very unique. It was fried okra tossed in some sort of unidentifiable spices for an interesting, very salty taste. Good, but I could not eat a ton of it. Chicken Vindaloo(spicy) — Amazing flavors, no corners cut. All white meat too, unlike many of the other places(yes I know dark meat is preferred by many). Chicken Tikka Masala — the barometer of Indian food for me. The holy grail I search for. This ranked right up there with the best. Too many Indian restaurants kill it will cream and not enough spices. This was rich, flavor packed, and amazing. I just had the leftovers yesterday and I am already craving it as I type this. Truly top notch, if this dish is normally your thing. Also noteable was the naan. It was perfectly cooked to have some crispy/char and some soft doughy goodness. Without a double one of the better places to get Indian cuisine in the DFW area.

My fav Chicken Tikka Masala in the area. Great variety on the lunch buffet. I’ve been in many times and the staff and owners are really accommodating and friendly. Multiple curry and biryani options. On my short list, great for takeout on the way home from work.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday night. It’s a nice, small restaurant. The service was good, waiters were friendly and attentive. We got the chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala. This is the best masala curry I’ve had ever. It’s so flavorful and rich. Most restaurants make the curry watery but not here. Can’t wait to go back. The hubs wants to check out the buffet sometime.

4.5* The best north Indian food in the metroplex for sure and definitely in our top 3 across all the places we visit regularly or lived in across the US(NY/NJ/PA/IL/GA/CA …). Food is excellent and the staff is very friendly(albeit slow). Taking off a half star for a couple instances where they didn’t get our take out orders correct and kinda long wait time. It’s worth it though, the spice levels are perfect and almost all the dishes are worth trying. Ambiance is confusing — low lighting, nice/clean furnishings, but there are TVs, the music is loud and is on random playlists. The bar doesn’t have signature cocktails; but, this isn’t a place you go for the bar really. Food highlights: Apps: paneer shashlik(off menu, excellent), pakoras, samosas Entrees: bhaigan bharta, dum aloo, malai kofta Dessert: orange kulfi

I am writing my review on their weekend buffet. By far, they have the best weekend buffet in Plano/Frisco area(perhaps one of the best in DFW), period. You will not regret eating buffet here. Not sure why people complain about friendliness of the servers. I have hardly interacted with them, except when I want water or when they come to pick up the plates. Things I loved from their buffet: Rabdi or rasmalai stuff for sweets, tawa veggies, their lamb curry and chicken tandoori and kebabs are tender and good. It has become a ritual for me to go there every Saturday or Sunday.

Pretty decent food. Friendly staff. We had a to go order so can’t speak for the ambience to dine in. They have a very small bar area… not a place I would hang out at. I’ll be back for take out.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Weekday lunch buffet. I initially felt that there are a lot less options. The taste totally changed my thoughts. The aloo bonda was awesome. Had a nice after flavor as I think they had sprinkled some kind of masala or seasoning. Biryani was the best. It was even better when you mix it up a bit with the paneer masala gravy. Three sweets, all very well made. Not too sweet and perfect. All the gravys were tasting awesome– paneer butter masala, baigan curry, dal, mushroon saag. It was not oily at all, thats the best. Definitely recommend for a vegetarian. There were non-veg options but I hv no idea how those tasted.

I had a craving for Indian on a Monday and apparently Monday’s aren’t good days for Indian food(or good Mexican). This one was open, near by-ish and had a Groupon. The décor inside is pretty nice, very high ceilings, high backed booths and a cool tiled wall behind the bar. But it still felt odd. It was kind of loud with nothing on the walls and stained concrete floors. Actually a big bar for such a small restaurant. There were two guys working, one of which had a red cooks apron half tied-on so maybe a server called in sick… the apron guy helped us and he was not very friendly. Didn’t offer us anything from the bar or suggest things from the menu and constantly left our water glasses empty. The actual server looking guy brought our food out and was much more friendly. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma, both medium spice level. They come with rice or naan so we got both with rice and an side of naan. The dishes were both different than I’ve had before, but were good and plenty of food. The Korma had dark meat(I think.) which I’m not a fan of. The medium spice was on the higher end of medium, I think, which was completely good with me. Two waters, two dishes and the naan were $ 30 before the groupon but there was enough for two lunches afterwards. I’d eat there again, but probably for take out unless I could ensure the actual wait staff was going to serve me.

Very, spicy, I enjoyed the breyani, a lot of rice and meat on the bone, a very large portion, lamb was really delicious well marinated, the rice that accompanied the meal was better than the breyani order, condiments complimented the meal. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive. The restaurant was clean.

This was a good place for Indian food. It’s not the best I’ve ever had — I’m from California and have had some pretty great authentic Indian — but this was good. I really enjoyed their Paneer Tikka Masala. Their naan was good. I would come here again. However, not as spicy as I would have hoped. They have three levels of spiciness — none, medium and hot. They put their hot at a scale of 8 – 9. I would say it’s maybe 4 – 5. But that’s fine, still very good. A little pricier than I would normally pay for Indian food, but nice atmosphere, good location. I will be back. EDIT: Lowering to 3 stars. Today I ordered a to go menu. When I got home and opened the bag, I realized that they gave me the completely wrong order. I did not know what some of these dishes were and we have some allergies so we couldn’t even try to just make the best of the situation. I called them and they told me to come back and they’d get me the right menu. I had to drive back to the restaurant where they made me wait around(no one at the cash register to help me) and I waited for about 5 minutes. Than they just switched out the bag and said sorry and that was it. First their sorry did not seem remorseful or sincere in the least. And for the inconvenience of driving back and forth, holding up dinner, etc. they could have been at least a little remorseful or even offer a reasonable return — a gift certificate — a free dessert — anything small to account for the inconvenience. I had to drive an extra 30 minutes roundtrip and then wait around, it was definitely not appreciated. I will likely not be back. The food is good but not great, it’s pretty pricy, and this was very bad service.

–Not open on time. –Food in lunch buffet had covers! Hard to take off and put back on covers yourself. Very awkward and unsanitary for a buffet! –Lurking waiter 5 feet away from you staring at you while you are eating. While I appreciate the attentiveness, this was certainly too much. –Female worker eating at a table among the customers is very unprofessional.

Got two of our standards and they blew away any other time we have had them. The Chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely incredible as was the Spinach Onion Pakoras. You must order these. We also tried two other dishes; a chicken and lamb dish which was very good and a stuffed naan which was great too. Service is wonderful, atmosphere great and they play nice Indian music. Doesn’t it bother you when the music clashes with the restaurant? Anyways; love this place!
