The worse experience in a long time. First, we get seated 30 minutes AFTER our reservation time, and we dont even get to start eating until after another 30 minutes. Rhen our drinks were completely disgusting. Oh, did I mention the leaking from the ceiling that all waiters were completely ignoring? Yeah try eating while you are watching from dripping god knows what. We are finally towards the end of our dinner and we order dessert. Wanted the fried cheescake. Well too bad cause kitchen was already closed and we couldn’t have that. We ordered the regular cheesecake and they brought it out… completely frozen! Oh and you will be smelling like everyones food when you leave! No ventilaton system whatsoever. Needless to say, will not go back to this restaurant again!

Had a company lunch on 12÷1÷2015 and I will never come back. To start, I was not hungry enough to order a meal, so a co-worker and I decided to split one-Lemon Chicken for $ 12.00. SERIOUSLY?!! We were charged an additional $ 6.00 each for splitting, and additional $ 4.00 each for fried rice(it’s not included!!) and tip on the total amount of the bill. I do not figure tip on tax, only the amount of the food. We both had water. So a $ 12.00 entrée cost us almost $ 40.00! TERRIBLE. Will never go back. Buyer Beware, they will charge you a la cart for your meal! OH, and the food was over cooked. Crispy egg in the rice, chicken chewy. If I could rate this a zero, I would. I hope you go out of business.

The service and quality are without a doubt the best I have had. The friendly wait staff remember our names and what we like to eat. We love this place!

I use to eat here often. The prices have gone up as they changed the menu and the quality of food is not the same. Also, the management is horrible. Absolutely horrible. I went before closing time and they told me to leave because the servers needed a break. Mind you, this was at lunch and before they were close to closing. Andrew was the manager’s name who told me that no matter what time it was I was not going to be sat. There are better places in Frisco with cheaper prices and food that is just as good. I will NOT go back. Too expensive for the snotty attitude of their floor manager and the quantity and quality of the food. Trust me, this place is garbage now. Do not come here. I am not sure what changed from two years ago but whatever the change was, it is evident in management quality and customer service, lack of taste in food, and higher prices for less. Sounds like something we should all welcome, right(sarcastic glasses on)!

Great place. Reasonably priced, with excellent service. Come to this place every week and it has not disappointed yet. In my opinion, this is the best place to go in DFW. I would recommend to any who needs to have hibachi.

Went there for dinner with some family and friends. At our hibashi table there were 7 adults and 1 child. The food was overpriced for the quality of it(3 eggs were used on the fried rice for the whole table). The waitress was rude and did not have any service skills. It was our first(ANDLASTTIME) time at this location. I will not recommend this place at all. Save your money, time and headache. Go SOMEWHEREELSE.

Worst service ever. Went 3 weeks ago and the service was bad. I thought I would give them a try again and the service got worse. My sister in law asked for more water because the waitress didn’t pay attention so the waitress just handed her the jug. I would not recommend this place not even to my worst enemy. Only giving one star bc I had to not bc they deserve it.

I like the design of the building. The rooms are almost hidden. Their menu has a bunch of random rolls put together on it, a couple sound tasty. Today I had the yellowtail, which was pretty good. I also ordered the crispy spring rolls. And I MUST warn you to stay away from them! They are absolutely disgusting! They leave a fowl taste behind. I literally had one bite! Service is alright, they get your drink, take your order then pretty much leave you alone until it’s time to pay. But most people prefer it that way. This is my second time in, I’m not impressed. Probably won’t come back.

This was the WORST Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. My husband and I went there for lunch and were met by poor service and sub-par food. Sushi is overpriced. We expected to receive several pieces of yellowtail and instead got 2. TWO. The gyouza was made of some sort of mush and came with an alcohol-tasting gyouza sauce. Lastly, the rice. White, Japanese rice is supposed to be sticky, fluffy, and hot. What we received was nothing. The white rice was dry and it tasted old. Perhaps other locations of this chain are better, but don’t waste your time here!

Food is ok. Great for family environment to wow the kids. The drinks are fine. I wasn’t eating much of it. But did good on vegetables seasoning and all. My son enjoyed the onion Choo Choo train part of the show. Gave him a origami elephant to take home. Service is really nice though, but if food was better I take it. Sushi wasn’t something spectacular especially out in this area. I would come back if a friend invited me.

Not what it used to be. Came in on a Monday night and it was still about 20 – 25 minutes before a chef was starting at our hibachi. The prices also have gone up a bit but you also get much less food as well. Among other issues, a «glass» of wine(8 $) will net you a third of a standard size glass. To top things off, I was charged more than I was given a receipt for without explanation. I had to track down a manager who explained that our server forgot to add an item, which is fine — I will pay for what we got, but don’t give me a receipt that doesn’t have everything on it. All in all, this place is going downhill. Which is really a shame because this used to be in my top 10 favorite restaurants in Frisco. It gets 2 stars from me because the food, although not much was given(for the price and based on history), was excellent. Time to find a replacement.

I have been here before several time and remember it was great. But the qualities of their sushi is not so great this time. The hibachi grill was a fun experience with a group of people. A little bit of entertainment and watch them cook in front of you. I didn’t really like their sauce. I had volcano roll, #96 roll, and Louisiana roll. Not so impress with the volcano roll, I had it better. The #96 roll was pretty interesting looking, but very crunchy. Louisiana roll was ok too. If this was my choice, I wouldn’t pick this place. A friend wanted to come here for dinner, so I join her.

We went here this past weekend for the first time. We walked in and nobody was there, but we were told that without a reservation, it’d be a 30 minute wait for the hibachi. We decided to wait because our friends really wanted to eat here. After waiting 40 minutes, we went to ask when we would be seated. we were told it’ll be another 10 minutes. It turned out being an hour total, after we were told 30 mins. Boo. The place is pretty pricey! We paid $ 82 for 2 adults and a child. AND we only had waters to drink. The show is pretty cool… except for the fact that the chef made my daughter cry. ugh. Anyway, The food was good but the meat portions are pretty small. I had the teriyaki steak which was very delicious, and my husband had chicken. We also had the salmon roll($ 6) which was just okay. Nothing special. Will I return? Hmm… I think I’ll try Benihana next time, it’s a chain and I’ve heard it’s cheaper.

Second time here and I’d have to say it’s pretty decent. Two for $ 10 classic rolls(I only get the Tuna Roll though) z Even though the food is pretty fresh and decent to eat, I’d have to point out some issues I felt(in my opinion) could be suggested. I don’t know if it’s because I’m used to a certain way, but I ordered two tuna rolls and there was a lot of rice. Maybe cut down on putting too much rice. The rice was dry, as well as the seaweed. It was hard to chew. Guess I should only order one Tuna Roll lol. The octopus was good. Fresh and chewy, which I love. I didn’t get any miso soup this time(which they usually provide) but no worries since my food came out within 5 minutes. The Yellowtail slices of Yellowtail Heaven was yummy. I’d have to say maybe add more ponzu sauce but I asked for extra on the side so no worries. The people are friendly. My server(same one from last time as well) is very nice. Since I go by myself I don’t have much to clear out or have a need of refilling my drinks, but she does check up on me.

Just average — they do have a 2 roll sushi lunch for $ 10. I ordered the spider roll and spicy salmon roll. I was very disappointed they were both topped with a huge glob of spicy mayo. You will never find an authentic Japanese restaurant serve a spicy salmon TOPPED with spicy mayo. It’s typically mixed inside the roll with the salmon and masago(this way the ingredients have time to marry.) Spider Rolls are best served with ponzu on the side or eel sauce on the side, in my opinion. This way you can control the amount of sauce and can actually TASTE the roll. It wasn’t horrible, but next time I venture to this area… I’ll try another sushi restaurant.

Albeit overpriced, the food at Jinbeh was solid. The problems with this place are everything else. Namely, tables are overfilled, leading to an extremely cramped experience. I could live with this relative lack of intimacy, but the place is essentially one large well-lit room, killing any semblance of remaining privacy. For the price, atmosphere should be an integral part of the experience, and it wasn’t. I won’t be coming back. Check out Kobe Steaks in Addison if you’re feeling like Hibachi.

I believe you come to Jinbeh more for the experience, not so much the food. The chef throws a spinning egg in the air and catches it with his spatula. Your dinner gets cooked up while an onion tower catches a blaze in your face. Like fire? I do. You’ll get plenty of that in your face. Hope you like the way the chef puts it out. Its a hibachi grill. They aren’t known for the best tasting food. Also $ 17+ for a meal is very common among hibachi grills.

My husband and I came here for his birthday. We made a reservation for our party. When we found out we were going to be 15 minutes late, we called and let them know. «No problem!» Well apparently it WAS a problem. Our party got there and the hostess kept us waiting for over an hour despite the slow night. We watched groups larger than ours come in without a reservation and get seated. We saw parties without reservations come and leave after their meal. We got sick of being treated like that and went to Buca, who got us in promptly. I don’t know what their deal was that night, but they missed out on over $ 450 in sales because of the hostess. We will not be back.
