One of my favorite places to go. Love hanging out on their covered patio. I order fajitas frequently here. Today, they accommodated me by just bringing me the meat and beans. Great service! The tortillas are the best in the area hands down. I would eat them by themselves if I didn’t need protein. The sopapiillas are good here.

We loved this Blue Goose when we lived in the area so we were excited to pop in for some brisket tacos and a margarita. Well they’ve changed the salsa and it’s not near as good as it used to be. Brisket tacos were bland and dry, but the margarita was the deal breaker… $ 2 margarita special on Tuesday so I wasn’t expecting much other than a bargain run of the mill margarita but I couldn’t even drink it. Not sure if their margarita machine was poorly cleaned or the glasses were dirty, all I could think when I got close to my drink was dirty mop water. All around a disappointment

Blue goose hit the spot tonight. Our waitress was on spot and the food was great. My friend ordered the enchiladas and I was lucky enough to sneak a bite, needless to say they were really good as well. Will be back since this is one of our go to spots for good Mexican food

My family comes here quite often, the food is very consistent and is of good quality. I almost always get the beef fajitas and they are very good. The chips and salsa are just average in my opinion, but the overall all quality of everything else makes up for it. From customer service to the adult beverages. The average chips and salsa bring it down from a 5 star to 4 star.

Blue goose… More like like Blue balls… this place sucks almost as much as the wait.

We were seated in the worst table possible– intersection of kitchen door and patio door. Lots of other tables available so we asked to move to a booth. Ordered $ 6.50 margaritas that came in plastic Dixie cups no taller than a restroom water cup. Very disappointed!!! Literally 2 sips for hubby!!! Small quesadilla and tortilla soup were better than we expected. Likely not to visit again though.

Great service, but horrible shrimp fajitas. Portion sizes for fajitas are NOT worth $ 17.99. Whether the beef or shrimp, you need more quality before start charging such a high price. The shrimp fajitas were extremely chewy(gross) and way salty. No flavor. Won’t be returning here.

Love the salsa, hate the chips. Margaritas are best made with fresh lime juice. Food is ok, but really only go there for the salsa!

The service was excellent and I got my order as wanted. As I looked around the management was yelling at the staffed employees. This got me curious because the staff was very generous very nice and was very friendly, especially a nice employee named Gabriella. The manager was very hostile to us and made us uncomfortable, when my brother did not like the taste of his enchilada. But besides that experience was great and we definitely will be come back.

Not a fan. I’m guessing people go here mainly for the drinks. Nothing I had really impressed me.

Service was good… Waiter was very nice & friendly. Food not so good. Had the pick 2, sour cream chicken enchilada which was ok and blue goose tamale which was dry, not that great.

This is tex mex, don’t expect upscale. But for tex mex, it is good. Food usually comes out so fast that you know it’s just assembly back there but again, this isn’t a culinary experience, it’s just chowing on tex mex. Wait staff is very good and very well trained. Margs aren’t bad, most places I won’t even order them, they’re halfway decent here. Go on three dollar Thursdays — $ 3 margs, beers, and queso.

The food is pretty good. The selection of beer is very limited. The real downside is that the bathrooms are significantly too small for the amount of business they do.

Sat at the bar and it was the Worst Service I have ever had. The female Bartender was on her phone texting instead of taking care of the guest. I asked for my tablet 3 times. It wasn’t even busy for a Tuesday night. TERRIBLE

It is your typical American Mexican restaurant. The service is fast and friendly. The food is consistent, the tortillas are super fresh and the chips & salsa are great. I don’t change winning horses, so my dish here is the 6 Mini Tacos. These are real street tacos, 2 – 3 bites and they are gone. I get them all beef only, I find the chicken and pork are too dry. The Charro beans are the best I ever had or at least I don’t know of any better than these. Close it all up with the cinnamon sugar Sopapillas and honey. For those who drink beer, try the Negra Modelo dark on draft and thank me later. It goes super well with spicy food.

Been here several times and it’s a decent Mexican place. No dishes stand out(have had their stew, fajitas, burritos, chimichangas) and all meet expectations. This place has a thing for fresh tortillas which you can get if you ask. Salsa is pretty good. Overall a good Mexican choice — not a stand out by any means but certainly a solid place that can meet your expectations.

Very nice people, good service great colorful atmosphere. However, the food is something different. I had the chips and salsa, nachos, and soft tacos. I honestly did not like a single thing. The food was very bland and did not taste or look fresh or appetizing at all. Everything either tasted very off, poor, or simply just bad. The salsa had wonderful spice, but tasted absolutely nothing like any ingredient in it, it tasted fake. The nachos tasted decent, however they looked awful. Lastly, the soft tacos had absolutely no flavor. The only thing you could actually taste was the dryness of the meat and the tomatoes. While the food was very poor, it was a very nice place, and the servers were very kind and attentive. However, that doesn’t make up for the taste.

This was a horrible experience. My son loves Mexican food, so we chose Blue Goose for his birthday dinner. Big mistake. Server would not sing happy birthday to him. She told us, we don’t do that! WTH??? To make matters worse, she forgot our queso and took way too long to respond to any requests. And that’s when she was available to take them. Would not even sit down if she was ever our server again. Btw, I’m a former server myself and have never been this upset! I usually give every server the benefit of the doubt. My breaking point may have been her asking me «What’s up?» in the most flippant tone ever.

You know it’s good when I had just tried the Blue Goose in Highland Village the day before(for the very first time) and the very next day I drag my husband to this Frisco location. Im so glad he loved it just as much as I did. This time we ordered a full size Blue Goose quesadilla(fajita chicken, mushroom, spinach– my favorite combo for quesadillas!) and fajita chicken nachos. These were the best nachos we’ve had in awhile. The flavors of the chicken are great and love the real cheese. I’ve been craving Blue Goose since eating here two days in a row and look forward to my next visit!

Had some issues here in the past, mainly with takeout. Specifically, feel like the food quality had slipped a bit since this location opened. But decided to give it another shot with a friend who just moved here and we were both impressed. I got the fresco tacos and they were outstanding. Blackened tilapia was spot on and pico de gallo and cheese made it a home run. Friend got the shrimp alhambre and raved about it. Frances was our waitress and she was simply outstanding. Very attentive on a busy Friday during lunch but she was great about keeping drinks refilled and checking on us periodically. Salsa was better than I remembered it being and chips were fresh, so no complaints there. Happy to say Blue Goose is now back in the rotation.
