Katie has been keeping my hair gorgeous for six years now. I found Katie through a friend after a bad experience at another salon. Katie is the best stylist in the Frisco, Plano, North Dallas area. I have very thick natural curly hair, she did my first Brazilian Blowout six years ago, we have done some highlights, lowlights, thinned my hair out taken my beautiful brunette hair to a dark blonde and back again. Now we are doing Bayalage and I love it. Katie is always honest about what I can achieve with a picture I have brought in and the process it will take to achieve it. I am a client for life.

Over the past 8 years Katie Tellor has worked her magic on my hair. She has met every color combination with precision, depth, artistry and style. Katie has been doing my hair for many years now. She is the best! My hair color comes out perfect every single time… and believe me, I’m picky. I had VERY long hair for a VERY long time… and decided I wanted to go shorter. I brought in several pictures and Katie was totally honest with me, that my hair type just wasn’t realistically going to look like the pics I brought. So for several weeks I would text her pics until FINALLY we found one that I liked and that KATIE knew would work… and look great on me! So, now I’ve had short hair for 9 months and I literally get compliments on it at LEAST 5 times a week. She is the absolute BEST! Thanks Katie for keeping my hair BEAUTIFUL!!!

Katie is absolutely amazing, she truly cares for her clients wants and is educated in her techniques. I’ve had highlight, extensions and now this new service to minimize damage. My hair has gotten back to a healthy state definitely since seeing Katie, she is brilliant!

I’m not exactly what you’d call an emotional person. I’m not even sure most people would refer to me as a «nice» person. Therefore, when I tell you that the moment Katie finished cutting my hair and I saw the results and I got a teensy bit choked up, you should understand that this is a BIG DEAL. The thing is this – I don’t have good hair… it has a tendency to be «woolly» (former stylist adjective – and it’s apt!) it grows out rather than down, and it somehow manages to be limp and frizzy at the same time. I’ve done a number of radical things to it over the years (bleached the living crap out of it, shaved it, etc.), but I only really LIKED it for a span of about 4 years when I was living and traveling in the Atlanta area, and I found one hair genie who worked his magic and gave me awesome hair. Since I now live in Dallas, I think it’s dumb to continue to travel to Atlanta to get my hair cut – however, I was just about to that point when I found Katie.
I’ve been to EVERY major salon in the Frisco/​Plano area, and, without naming names, I can assure you I’ve seen every wretched stylist they have to offer. Bad color, bad cuts, bad attitudes… you name it. And then? Then I found Katie through a desperate Google search for THE stylist… the one who would make a semi-​regular trip to Atlanta unnecessary. Needless to say, Katie came through like a scissor-​wielding Siegfried and Roy (pre-​tiger unpleasantness)…pure magic! She listened, she analyzed, she cut, and I now have hair that looks like HAIR rather than a dead muskrat sitting on my head.
I can’t express vehemently enough how much I appreciate her work – no drama, no bait-and-switch…just an amazing haircut. Thanks, Katie! She’s stuck with me now for as long as I have hair…

I first went to Katie as a walk-​in about a decade ago. Been going ever since! She is very talented and knowledgeable. I get compliments on my hair even weeks after my last appointment. I don’t do extentions, but I know she is an expert at this too! I would recommend Katie to anyone and everyone!

Katie is the absolute BEST with hair. I refer everyone I know to her!!! I get facebook msgs from people I don’t know asking who does my hair!!! I proudly tell them Katie. In addition to extensions, she is fabulous at Brazilian Blowouts and color. SHE IS FABULOUS! You will never be disappointed with your hair with Katie.

I am so impressed by Katie’s natural talent for color, cut, and style. I have had quite a bit of trouble finding the right stylist for me, but I think I’ve finally found her. My hair turned out PERFECT, and exactly the way I wanted it! She is a very sweet girl too. very personable and down to earth. I’ll definitely be coming back again :)

You know that «Some E-​Cards» meme going around, that says «I had a terrible history of bad relationships, I was always miserable… and then I finally found the right stylist»? That’s how I feel about Katie Tellor. I had been suffering with terrible service providers since I moved to Dallas in 2004.
Finally a friend recommended Katie, and I’ve never looked back. She is talented, a very good business person, and does an amazing job with color. This is no exaggeration: she makes every other colorist I’ve had seem like a rank amateur with a drugstore box of squirt bottles.
I am thrilled with Katie, and recommend her any time I can. She’s very busy, and it can be hard to get an appointment with her if you are a new customer, because she’s got so many loyal clients… but it’s honestly worth your while to wait.

Katie is the best! From brown to red to blonde she has always made my hair look and feel amazing and keeping it healthy! She uses top of the line color, INOA, and it’s ammonia free!

Katie is simply the BEST!!! She is brilliant with color and superb with cutting hair. If you are looking for someone to completely understand the hair color/​style you are trying to achieve, then Katie is your girl!!! I am always more-​than-​satisfied with my hair after every appointment. Not only is she super fun to sit and chat/​laugh with for an hour, but she is also very accommodating with my CrAzY flight attendant schedule. I’ve been a client of Katie’s for over 5 years, and NOT ONCE has she cancelled on me. NOW THAT IS DEPENDABILITY!!! Talented, trustworthy, understanding and dependable are all great traits of a hair stylist… Katie has it ALL!

3 years later and I am still just blown away how incredibly talented Katie is with color and cutting. She also gives an amazing Brazilian Blowout.

Katie does a great job always making sure I’m satisfied with my cut. Very sweet and funny ta’ boot. Loads of talent. In over the six years she’s been cutting my hair, not one bad (semi-bad…remotely average) haircut. She’s great.
Also cuts my four year olds hair and makes them very comfortable and as enjoyable as a haircut can be for someone that age.

If you look ghetto and you might, ya need to go see Katie. Look people, «yellow» hair is no longer acceptable! 80’s is back yes, but only in fashion!!! She’s amazing with blondes and I’m as anal as they come! I mean I’m on t.v. I don’t need anything else for people to bash me about! Extensions, I get stopped at least 3 – 4 times a week about my «beautiful» hair, and no those aren’t my words, it’s theirs! Prices are totally reasonable even if ya broke! Services are worth it too. You will not find anyone better in Dallas to style, color or add hair to your hair! Katie has done my hair now for 4 years and I will NEVER go to anyone else. If you don’t wanna even try her, well fine look like crap. Your loss!!! J/​K She’s fantastic, no other like her!!!
